Mudblood Walkthrough and FAQ v69.4

Goal of this Walkthrough and FAQ

Walkthough goal is to defeat the last area, Dungeon, by day 6 or 7, defeating all raid locations and picking up all special NPCs along the way. This can be done in a little over an hour, real time. Once you've done that, you can basically go/do anything else you want in the game.

The Frequently Asked Questions portion covers some typical problems and other tips for gameplay. The controls are a bit odd but are perfectly usable once you get the hang of it... the game is really more of a showcase of animation, with a game built around it, and the controls reflect that use case.

Tips and other Notes is just that... observations made from game informing what's happening and / or potential strategies for gameplay.

I have not collaborated with the game's author on this guide or reviewed the game code; stats are based on other reading or personal experience and may not be correct. This is especially true as the game is still being developed and revised. I update this walkthough based on a full playthrough of the new version and update based on that plus release notes. That means gameplay elements may change from release to release without me noticing...

Walkthrough

Starting game: first 4 raids - Get Azalea, Mifia and Luleth

  1. Hit 6 and go to the "market" and buy all three slaves. Hopefully at least one is "big" breasted. Check the desk (right, back) for Custom Slave Look Potion and buy at least one if available; you can use it to make a big breasted slave for better milk production. You can order the Custom Slave Look Potion now and it will show up mid-day, so if there are none just buy a couple for later, or start a new game as a re-roll.
  2. Put them all in the breeding chamber and set them to automatic so they go deliver when pregnant and come back automatically
  3. Breed the largest breasted first (make one if you need to), and put her on milking rack when she returns. Click the "nursery" function and set it to auto fill. This will feed all infants with milk, which gives them a big boost on level.
  4. Grab Azalea next. There's a washing area (large pool of water) that can only be accessed by moving through the tunnels. If you exit Breeding Room 2 and bear left you'll find it. Azalea will be peeking her head up behind some rocks; just click on her to capture and she'll be moved to the Slave Cage. She has identical stats to other named slaves (like Mifia) and should be used as a breeder, replacing one of the Level 1 human slaves.
  5. Once you have 2 goblins and one "maturing" send the 2 goblins to the AdventurerCamp(sic). Two level 1 goblins is enough to win with certainty. This will get you Mifia. You'll note that Mifia has higher breeding stats than the Level 1 slaves you bought, so put Mifia in the breeding room and start breeding her with the other all slaves. Don't worry about goblin levels or stats; human milk bumps them 1 level and right now you just need three level 3 goblins and whatever else is there.
  6. One you have three level 3 goblins to send, send all, retaining one (mature or developing) to the Farm. Keep Mifia as a breeder, and put another big breasted slave on milking rack so you have 2 humans being milked. Breed the remaining goblin, removing him and breeding the next one to level up 1 line of goblin. You should have a single Level 6 goblin by the time they get back from raiding the farm.
  7. You'll have picked up an additional 1-2 human slaves; put the human captures in breeding pen, and breed up at least three Level 6 (or higher) goblins. Once you have them, send everyone to raid the Village and get the elf slave Luleth. We want her for her elf milk, which has double the stats of human milk, raising goblin two levels per generation.
  8. Statistically, you should also have picked up at least one human-goblin hybrid by now, Rouke. You'll see that Rouke has fairly high stats, so put her in as a breeder as well. Note that her hybrid offspring will share her stats (and should be used as breeders too), but also note hybrids are 2-3 times as likely to birth more hybrids so you'll need to watch your numbers and sell the extras.
  9. Broadly, as of v68.6, the Named NPCs like Mifia and Rouke, have higher level stats than the generic level one human slaves. If you're able, swap in these Named NPCs as breeders and use the level ones as cows or in the brothel. In general, extra slaves should be put in the brothel, milked, or sold.

Prepare and Conduct Castle raid - Get Akane, Nun Elena and more Elf Cows

  1. Elf slave Luleth is small breasted, so you should immediately re-raid the Village and keep raiding it in attempt to get more Level 1 elf slaves, modifying them to be big breasted and milk them too. This accelerates the game, allowing you to breed a few lines at once with the more powerful elf milk prior to defeating the Castle which guarantees you one Elf milking slave (Nun Elena). Once you have at least one good Elf cow (use Custom Slave Look Potion to make one) then move Luleth to breeding duty and switch to feeding monster infants elf milk. Your goal is to have 3 elf cows as soon as you can get them in place.
  2. Watch out for Luleth offspring; she has a 40% chance of birthing Goblin Gnomes. While they are numerically equivalent to their fathers, they (most likely?) won't be able to breed later variants like Hobgoblins, Abominations, Demons, and thus are a breeding dead end. Suggest either not using them as studs, and swapping Luleth out from breeding duty once you've generated as many Goblin Gnomes as you care to and have better breeder options.
  3. Breed up at least five Level 15 (or higher) goblins. Once you have them, send everyone to raid the AmbushSpot and get the human slave Akane. She has high stats... so another breeder.
  4. Now, you'll either end up with a bunch of level 25 goblins, or 10 abominations, along with goblin riff-raff.
    • If you get a abomination (pig-goblin) use the whole breeding slave group to make more until you get 10 of them. Then launch the attack on the Castle; abominations appear at goblin level 9 and have a minimum level of 24 (abominations are about +15 level over their goblin father). 7 abominations of level 30+ is enough to take the Castle along with the rest of the goblin riff-raff. Keep back the highest level goblin b/c only the abominations will be returning... all the goblins (which will be low level) will likely be killed.
    • Continue breeding goblins until you get a level 24 goblin, then use the entire breeding team to make at least six level 25 goblins. Then launch attack on the Castle.
  5. You should be in the castle on day 3-4, and this gets you the Nun Elena. Milk her or breed her, depending... as you develop elf cows from Village raids, move Luleth and Nun Elena from milking into breeding spots to take advantage of their enhanced stats.
  6. Change out any slaves past 20 birth, or restore their fertility with a potion (goes for next stage as well). Note that if you re-raid Castle the NPC captures have slightly better stats than the ones from earlier levels... Level 2 NPCs, vs. the Level 3 NPCs you'll get from Metropolis and the Level 1 NPCs you can buy or capture in the earlier raids.

Final City Raids - Beat City, Metropolis, get Senira, Tallis, and Jewels

  1. By now you should have swapped to elf milk, with either Nun Elena + Luleth on the milking rack, or 1-2 other Elf cows.
  2. Starting with level 25+ goblins, breed 3-4 slaves at a time, leveling them up. You want a bunch of level 30. If you get a abomination at this point it will likely be much higher level; sell the old ones and breed a new line.
  3. Once you have a raiding party of at least ten level 30 monsters (give or take), launch the attack on the City. This will get you Senira, a neko (catgirl) that has a 25% chance of birthing Werewolves, so throw her into one of the breeding slots and you're likely to have at least one Werewolf before you do the next raid. Her milk is also more powerful than human, but not so much better than elf to make the switch worthwhile IMHO, esp. since she's small breasted.
  4. Re-raid City to get special slave Tallis. This is a slave with special cooking animation. Once she's at Depravity 5, you can put her the goblin area near the cooking pot and she'll do a cooking animation, which has no (current) game impact. Also note there a second location near the pot, by the table, that you can place any Depravity 5 slave + monster for a mating animation.
  5. Repeat above until you have an entire raiding party (18) of level 40+ goblins, abominations, werewolves, then launch the attack on the Metropolis, which will give you Jewels, a unique slave that can birth Hobgoblins.
  6. Re-raiding this area will yield slaves that are much higher level; these should be placed into breeding spots in place of the level one NPCs that have been used to this point. This will further increase the rate of monster evolution. Use any stats potions you've collected on these new Level 3 NPC breeders to further increase their stats.

End Game - Beat Troll Cave, Dungeon, AlchemistTower, get Laab and Succubus Extract, get Frogbold

  1. AlchemistTower requires a full raiding party of level 50+ monsters. The tower will yield (on first raid of the day) human, elf, and/or neko NPCs as well as potions. The goal of this raid is a unique "Succubus Extract" potion that should be applied to your most "experienced" slave (defined as hours spent having sex) to give her the "Mark of Lust," which in addition to being a listed stat, appears as a fertility tattoo. Discussion on which slave to pick is below, because there are stat benefits based on which you chose. This marked slave can then be used to breed a new monster, Minotaur.
    • You may need to repeatedly raid the Tower to get the "Succubus Extract" potion... my run yielded it on the 3rd victory.
    • Minotaur and the slave given the potion are ridiculously overlevelled. The minotaur will be birthed at level +120 higher than goblin parent, and in fact any birth from slaves with "Mark of Lust" will breed offspring level +120 higher than parent. Successively breeding a minotaur squad using this "Mark of Lust" slave is a good enough way to smash any remaining areas with little effort; a fourth generation minotaur should be over level 1000.
    • Minotaur counts towards your monster count (total of 10 currently) so make sure you have space for the birth in your stable.
    • AlchemistTower yields level 3 Human, Neko, and Elf NPCs, and so is the only place to get upleveled Elves.
    • Succubus Extract can be applied to any slave, immediately increasing their Depravity to level 5 and giving them Mark of Lust. However, the increase in birth stats from the mark is based on the number of hours the slave has spent having sex. 44 hours = 44% increase in stats. Also note the birth stat bonus will continue to increase as the number of hours spent having sex increases... it is not static.
  2. Troll Cave can be defeated at this point; it will yield a Troll, which in my case was a level 77, about as strong as the weakest Abomination I sent. There's nothing special about trolls; they are equivalent to other monster types (they count toward your 10 monster capacity) and will sire more Trolls. They have their own set of animations, and a special spot in the brothel to set up (look for the box.) They increase depravity at the same rate as goblins while mating.
  3. The next area Dungeon requires a full raiding party of monsters at strength above those guarding the area; the first raid strength varies. Finishing this raid yields Laab, a futa succubus, that can both breed and be bred.
  4. Attack Swamp last, this will give you Frogbold, a frog-like Monster.
  5. If you did the above, you've completed the game. The last raid, and all other raids, are recorded in your log when you launch it (not when they return). ... you can re-raid any area with the goblins you have now.
  6. Run your harem, go back to prior raid areas and get more elves and nekos, breed a pile of hybrids, or just stop here.
  7. Second raids of the last area, Dungeon, requires some timing and prep. At 1:00 game time, the level of the dungeon updates to whatever the level of your highest level monster is. The trick here is to have all 7 breeding areas available and have a goblin as highest level monster, then breed a complete raiding party with your highest level goblin. The next generation goblins will be slightly higher, and you only need 10 of these. Launch the last raid before the area resets at 1:00 with your new raiding team. If you are having trouble, note that you can sell your highest level monsters; the Dungeon will reduce its level down at 1:00 to whatever monster is highest level at that time. For example: if your highest goblin is 50 and you have a set of Abominations / Werewolves at level 60, sell them, wait for Dungeon to reset, then breed a raiding party starting from the level 50 goblin. Alternately, extremely high-level minotaurs can be bred very quickly...

FAQ - Potential problems

"My monsters are stuck in limbo after a raid!"

Monsters that return injured sometimes don't go to rest. Look at the party, if there are any that show no location and are injured, put them to rest, or sell them. This happens less often than you'd think; usually they're either fine or dead.

"My slave is stuck in birth stirrups and won't deliver!"

Sometimes means delivery would violate game requirements... usually that you already have 10 abominations+werewolves, so slaves pregnant with these won't deliver another. Suggest you sell the lowest level one. Will also occur for too many goblins (again, sell or kill the low level ones), and if they're pregnant w/ hybrid, as there's a limit on slave group as well. Note that when slave gets stuck birthing a hybrid, you need to reduce slave pool by one, then sell a goblin (likely a bug.)
Also check to see if a monster is stuck in the little box at the feet of the birth stirrups... sometimes baby monsters get stuck there; moving them to the nursery gets things going again.

"I'm missing some of the breeding animations!"

Your slave's depravity probably isn't high enough; some of the breeding positions only unlock at max depravity.

"How do you raid?"
  • Press "R" key, assign goblins, then hit "Start."
  • Raid is only function in the game without an on-screen toggle
"How do I get [monster/slave/special named slave]"?

Slaves

  • Humans
    • Unnamed: Buy (press 6) or raid any location
    • Mifia (title slave) is found on AdventurerCamp raid.
    • Akane is found on AmbushSpot raid.
    • Tannis (cooking slave) is found on second raid of *City
      • Once Tannis is Depravity 5 she will do an animation in the cooking area
    • Jewels (Hobgoblin Wet Nurse) is found in Metropolis
      • Once Jewels is at Depravity 5, and has given birth once, she can be placed in the Nursery area; center of room 3 with the newborn boxes, where she will breastfeed goblins as they are moved here
      • Goblins nursed by Jewels (birthed by any slave) will become Hobgoblins, which have unique animations
      • Jewels has a very high milk capacity, 1500 vs. 1000 max for other slaves
  • Elf
    • Unnamed: Re-raid of Villiage or AlchemistTower (at random)
    • Luleth is found at *Villiage
    • Nun Elena is found at Castle
  • Neko (catgirl)
    • Unnamed: Random on return raids to City or AlchemistTower
    • Senira can be found in the City
  • Human-Goblin Hybrid: Born from slave-goblin pairing (human or elf), at random. First one born is named Rouke and has special appearance and higher level stats like other named NPCs. The rest will inherit the stats of their mother.
  • Futa/Succubus: Dungeon (Laab)
    • Laab has both sets of genitals and can both impregnate (only Hybrids), as well as get pregnant
    • Laab can birth any monster, and will occasionally impregnate Hybrids, resulting in a Hybrid birth
    • Laab can work in brothel, and be milked, producing human milk
    • Laab increases slave depravity at same rate as mating with goblins
  • Demon (female): Laab\Female Demon + Hobgoblin (40%), Demon (male) + Laab\Female demon (50%), or Laab + Female Goblin (22.5%)
  • Rabbit Girl: Azalea can be found in the washing area

Monsters

  • Goblin: If they all die, you can buy them (press 6, level 1 only, every 12 in-game hours it swaps from human to goblin)
  • Abomination: Born from slave-goblin pairing (human or elf), 5% chance starting from goblin level 9, or from slave-abomination pairing
  • Werewolf: Born from neko-goblin pairing, ~25% chance, or from slave-werewolf pairing
  • Hobgoblins: Nursed from regular goblins by Jewels (see below) or birthed from Hobgoblin + slave pairing
  • Minotaur: AlechemistTower (Minotaur)
    • Birthing one of these requires using a unique potion that is found on successive raids of this location (Succubus Extract), and fed to a slave, giving the slave a "Mark of Lust" stat. On breeding marked slave with a goblin, resulting birth is a minotaur
    • Minotaurs breeding always results in a minotaur birth
    • Minotaurs are extremely high level, +120 levels over parent goblin
  • Troll: Troll Cave (Troll)
    • Defeating Troll Cave yields one troll of about equivalent level to your Abominations
    • Mating with troll increases depravity at same rate as mating with goblins
    • Troll has a special spot in brothel (look for the box) and can also be used in breeding room
    • Offspring are more trolls
  • Demon (male): Laab\Female Demon + Hobgoblin (40%), Demon (male) + Laab\Female demon (50%), Laab + Female Goblin (7.5%)
  • Goblin Gnome: Breeds from Luleth plus any Goblin, 40% chance, or from any human slave plus Goblin Gnome. Stats are identical to Goblins and have same increase during breeding.
  • Frogbold: Swamp
"The controls are hard to use!" / "I don't understand all the locations?"
  • You need to know number keys 2, 3, 6 and "R" key for raids. WASD to move and Q/E for elevation. Everything else can be poked with the mouse.
  • 95% of the game can be played from Room 2 (Breeding Room) and Room 3 (birth/milking room), the latter only to set slave cows in place, and Room 6 only once when you start the game
  • Press "6" to go to the slave/goblin buying area. Click slaves to buy them; they alternate between human slaves and goblin every 12 hours. The desk in the back sells potions.
  • Press "2" and set up in the middle of the breeding room. Press Q to get your camera off the ceiling (E raises it.)
  • Pull up "Units" which shows all monsters and slaves. Drag slaves from the "Units" box to breeding floor, drag monster on top of them. Set slaves to "automatic" (click the red circle to green) and she will leave when pregnant, come back when ready to breed again. You can sit in the middle of Room 2 and just rotate, though WASD moves around and Q/E set elevation. You will spend most of your time here, monitoring things
  • If you need to set a slave cow, press "3" and look to your left; there are milking stirrups there. From "Units" box, drag slaves into place
  • The breeding spots are lit up with glowing blue rocks, the hit box for slave placement's a bit iffy, but you'll see a green light when the placement is active; release the mouse button and the slave is placed.
  • Hit "R" to raid. This is the only function without an on-screen toggle.
  • There is no reason to go to rooms 1 (central area with 3 breeding zones), 4 / 8 (slave pens), 5 (monster pen), 7 (brothel) other than to look around.
  • There is no reason to use WASD to run through the caverns unless you're looking around; just use the number keys and jump to the room
  • There are a bunch of other keys that pertain to viewing things (setting POV) or that duplicate on-screen buttons. But above will get you through this tutorial.
"I don't understand how to level up my goblins!"

Seriously. Breed level 1 goblin, get slightly improved goblin. Breed the new goblin, get slightly improved goblin. Repeat. This is a key game mechanic for this, or any, breeding game ffs. Goblins do not level up on raids, or from any other activity.

"How do I sell slave/goblins/other stuff?"

Click the center mouse button and sell it

"Does slave health / area upgrades do anything?"

No. These appear to be future-proofing features for the game that don't currently do anything.

"How can I change the way the slaves look?"

There are two mechanisms for this: Clothes, and Everything Else

  • Clothes: Open view slave box, and click the T-Shirt looking icon on the top middle-right side of the box. This will allow you to dress the slave up in other outfits. This works on all slave NPCs, named or otherwise.
  • Everything Else: Using Custom Slave Look potion you can change skin, hair, face, body shape of the slave, substantially changing both how they look, and to an extent how they function.
"How can I change the slave's name?"

Open view slave box, and click on the pencil icon on the top left. This allows you to enter your own information into the name field. Note that you need to keep the mouse arrow in place over the name for the system to accept your typed input.

"I can't place my slaves / monsters in the breeding spots!"
  • The breeding areas can be accessed by pressing number 1 (3 spots) or 2 (4 spots)
  • In Area #2 it's easier to work out where the breeding spots are; there are 4 coves lit up with glowing blue rocks.
  • Hit Box for slave placement's a bit tricky; it's in the center of the floor in the middle of the cove, and if you're looking straight at it (press Q to get off the ceiling), includes area below the floor
  • You'll see a green light when the placement is active; drag the NPC photo over to it, release the mouse button and the NPC is placed
  • I find generally the hit box is easiest to place slightly off to side and below center of floor, using WASD to center the cove on your screen
  • If you've paused the game time, placement doesn't work. If you've sped it up placement gets iffy. Put game back on normal speed
  • Others note that switching game from full screen --> windowed can fix this, or vice versa, if above doesn't work
"The game keeps crashing on my machine!"

User reports that game is crashing on their machines, esp. older machines without graphics cards. If you have one: Try forcing game to run in DirectX 12 or 11 like so:
press the right mouse button on the game .exe and click on "create shortcut", when you have created the shortcut, you right click on the shortcut and go to properties, then there, where it says destination, you go to the end of the text and after the " press space and write -dx12 and then apply, it should look like this: .exe" -dx12

"Where can I get a savegame, and where do I put the savegame file??"

Current version savegame: https://rentry.org/mudblood2#savegames
Saves are generally reverse-compatible; older saves working with newer versions of the game.

  • All Named NPCs captured
  • All Monsters available
  • All Slave NPC types available
  • All areas defeated

Put file in C:\Users\Your_name\AppData\Local\MudBlood\Saved\SaveGames on Windows machines

"How do I clean the goo off my slaves?"

Slaves now get covered in spunk over time. You can clean them off by taking them to the pool area and having them wash up. Pool area has to be navigated to; there's no number associated with it (at least not yet...)

Tips and other Notes

Succubus Extract Wins the Game

TLDR Once you get the Succubus Potion and apply it, you've won the game.

  • Applying this Potion to a highly-experienced slave (e.g. one that started in the brothel on Day 0 and left there the entire time, with ~100 hours of experience), creates ridiculously overlevelled monsters. The minotaur will be birthed at level +100 higher than goblin parent, and in fact any birth from slaves with "Mark of Lust" will breed offspring level +100 higher than parent. Successively breeding a minotaur squad using this "Mark of Lust" slave is a good enough way to smash any remaining areas with little effort; a fourth generation minotaur should be over level 1000.
Monster Requirements to Defeat Area with Raid

TLDR if you multiply Level x Monsters and it's higher than Level x Defenders, you'll generally win.

  • What's required to beat the raids is multiplying defender level by number of guards. Walkthrough is rough guidance that has worked in past, subject to some probability impact... Save scum game if you don't want to be set back, as results are somewhat random. So, for raids: be equal or higher level and have more goblins than defenders.
    • If there are 6 level 25 guards, you need at least 7 - level 25 goblins... maybe 2 more for fortifications?
    • Note being slightly underlevel (level 24 goblin vs level 25 guard) is a massive disadvantage, based on my experiments, and being slightly overlevel is likewise a massive advantage
    • Results have an element of chance. For example, in cases of a level tie, sometimes defender, sometimes goblin wins. You can see this by sending a single Level 1 goblin against AdventurerCamp raid. It will sometimes win, sometimes lose.
    • I played around with results of raiding Village in v68.3.39 as an experiment, which has 3 Level 6 defenders, with following results:
      - This raid can be won 100% of the time with a team of four Level 6 Goblins
      - With a team of five level 5 goblins, you'll win ~50% of the time.
      - Two-Three level 7s should win 50% of the time
      - I tried sending a full swarm of eighteen Level 2 goblins to see what would happen. They were all wiped out.
      - I tried sending nine Level 4 goblins to see what would happen. They won once (barely), lost once. Ten of them barely won. By twelve victory was still not definitive (lost 1/2 of goblins, killed 1 defender). At Sixteen, goblin losses were minimal (5) and all defenders were killed.
    • At the other end of the spectrum: 3 - Level 105+ monsters can defeat an area like City, which is 10 - Level 30 defenders. Tried this a few times and generally if you multiply Level x Monsters and it's higher than Level x Defenders, you'll win.
    • It appears Dev is tuning this model between releases; above still works but I noted that 68.4.1 I had less monsters returning from victory.
  • Slave and goblin attributes (+1 attack, +1 defense, etc.) don't matter as much as pure level. Using milk sort of levels them up evenly. You won't get really advanced stat slaves until Metropolis, and by then you can conquer anything you'd want to raid.
  • Same goes for Senira and her werewolf babies; they come so late that they don't matter much to end game. But the animations are neat.
Things to watch with Hybrids

I used to categorically sell the human-goblin hybrid slaves (hybrids) when they popped up, as they tend to birth more hybrids. As of v68.6, however, Rouke is now a high-level Named NPC, and her offspring are also high level breeder. Using these named NPC slaves, especially early in game, now speeds things up.

  • Hybrids have ~20% chance to birth another hybrid. Humans have ~10% chance to birth a hybrid.
  • Hybrid birth rate may be influenced by what milk they are being fed. Frankly, I'm getting a lot of variation run to run and it's hard to tell if it matters; it appears feeding goblin hybrid offspring with human milk increases the chance to ~25% and feeding hybrid offspring with hybrid milk increases the chance to ~30%. YMMV.
  • Note that hybrids have unique animations for all monster types
  • Offspring copy the mother's stat traits, so Level 1 Human NPC with +1 Attack yields a hybrid with +1 Attack. Higher level humans will yield higher level offspring. So Rouke offspring are valuable breeders, the others should be put in brothel or sold since they're more likely to overproduce hybrids.
  • Elves produce hybrid offspring at a lower rate... ~5%
  • Neko produce goblin hybrid offspring at same rate as elves with goblins > level 9: ~5%, with 25% chance of a werewolf. If you breed neko with low level goblins (< level 9) this jumps up to 10%, on par with humans.
Speeding up Breeding

You can speed breeding up a few ways

  • Depravity 5 slave babies mature 20% faster. To maximize Depravity in breeding slaves:
    • Take slave off "automatic" and put them with a goblin, taking them off when they reach level 5, by clicking in the Breeding Zone, clicking the gear, and turning off auto.
    • Set them in the Brothel and setting Duration to 100,000 (so they don't get pregnant and are just mated continuously.) Goal here isn't to breed them, it's to max depravity so you can use them later as breeders.
    • Note Abominations and Werewolves build depravity ~20% faster. Starting a goblin and an abomination at the same time, the slave mating with an abomination will hit Level 5 just at the slave mating with the goblin hits Level 4.
  • When breeding a single line of improved goblin, you can swap him between 2 slaves; if one slave is stunned, but not pregnant, switch to the other while she recovers, or if the slave is off birthing a hybrid baby (so you don't need to wait for next Gen goblin to mature.)
  • When breeding a single line of improved goblin, it's faster to breed 2 goblins at the same level if you have milk to support it. In this way, if one of them fails to fertilize the slave, or breeds a hybrid, the other might be successful. You then can move the pair between 2 sets of slaves; if one fails move the one to a new slave and catch up the breeding pair.
  • Abominations and werewolves are usually fairly high level compared to raiding locations and goblins, so use all the breeding spots and move same monster from one slave to the other, rather than waiting for the next higher level birth to complete. This is especially important b/c Abominations (and I assume Werewolves) take an additional 20 in-game minutes to mature vs. a goblin.
  • Don't use Hybrids for breeding, given their higher chance of birthing more Hybrids. https://rentry.org/mudblood2#troubles-with-hybrids
Never Send your Uber-Goblin on a Raid

Getting most of the goblins wiped out in a raid isn't usually a big deal; you'll be progressing so fast you'd need to sell them anyway, and money isn't very useful in the current game. Getting them killed off is frankly easier. Just don't lose your highest level goblin. That will put you back to square one, so always retain the highest level goblin. Abominations and Werewolves are less important, as you're likely to get the former accidentally anyway.
One way to preserve Abominations from raids, while still sending all 10 of them, is to impregnate a slave with a 11th abomination. Leave her in birthing straps, and she'll delivery if/when they return from raid one abomination short.

Bigger Breasts for More Milk
  • Breast size is a big deal for milking slaves: Bigger is Much Better
    • A Big Breasted slave (900+) will churn out ~14 bottles from full (one every :23 game-minutes), then 1 bottle every 1 game-hour. So not only do they produce more at first, they recover faster and so produce faster.
    • By comparison, a Small Breasted slave (~350) will churn out 4 bottles from full, then 1 bottle every 3 game hours. This is why Luleth production has to be closely managed until you get Nun Elena or another elf cow.
    • Changing the appearance using either at random or controlled potion, resulting in breast increase, can be used to make a better slave cow from any generic slave (just not the special named ones.)
    • It takes slave 9 in game hours to fill up breasts from empty regardless of breast size. This is why bigger is better; it makes milk faster.
  • Note that slave cows need to be bred every 3 days or they will "dry up." For the above it's not really an issue because you're moving so fast, more an item for longer games. If they do dry up, breed them once (get them pregnant and delivery the baby), then put them back in the milking rack for another 3 days.
  • Because of the above, there's almost no game-related reason to keep milking slaves unmodified.
Emphasis on Animations and Release Cadence

This game is really an animation showcase, and each slave / monster combo has unique breeding positions, and these change somewhat as Depravity increases (facial expressions change). It's worth spending some time running through them, which you can do manually in the breeding rooms and brothel. Note you can also take POV of monster or slave by clicking it and hitting "space."
This is a development game design choice; many of the releases are done to add additional animations for newly added monsters, or expand the current library of animations. Release notes (summarized at the bottom of the document) outline these additions. Historically releases have alternated between expanding number of animations and adding game features, with releases once a month, with patrons providing input on new features.

Special Animations

Since this game's an animation showcase, there are several that don't move the game forward, and more keep being added. I'll start adding these here, categorized by room they're in.
Pool Room

  • If you manually go through the areas, you'll find a pool room with several spots to place slaves. They'll run through a short cleaning animation if you do this, with no (current) game effect apparent.

Monster Area

  • If you part Tannis in the monster holding area, by the cooking pot, she'll go through a fairly complex cooking animation, that runs a few in-game hours, and restarts after a one hour rest.
  • If you park any Depravity 5 slave at the table near the pot, they'll run through a mating animation, which can lead to pregnancy.

Slave Holding Area (non-Brothel)

  • If you go into the main slave holding area, you can park 1 slave in center, 1-3 slaves on one side of her and 1-3 monsters on the other side of her, to start a "feeding" animation

Breeding Area

  • As of v68.4.5.3 you can have threesomes and foursomes in the breeding area with slaves + goblins. Drag a second or third goblin into the same breeding spot and they'll all do their thing. Goblin offspring bred this way is based on the first goblin placed; if a level 60 goblin is placed first, with two level 1 goblins placed second and third, the offspring will be 60+ goblin. There is no difference in depravity growth from threesomes / foursomes over single pairings
  • There are likewise threesome animations in the brothel for certain brothel contraptions

Milking Area

  • You can change the milking apparatus, as well as put a monster here to mate with the milked slave.
Potions You Need

Custom Slave Look Potion and Uterus Restoration Potion are something you'll want to pick up. The former allows you to create milk cows, latter allows you to reset birth count on your Depravity 5 slaves without starting a new capture from scratch. The sale desk resets something like every 24 in-game hours.

No Slave Capacity Limit for Raids

The slave limit of 30 is only enforced for births and purchases, not raids. You can raid and go over 30, however the game may get buggy until you sell enough slaves to get back down to 30 or less.

Slave NPC Levels

There are effectively 3 levels of captured NPCs; higher level have more and stronger Traits. Level 1 will have 1 trait, Level 2 have 2 traits or single trait will be double value (+2 Attack vs. +1 Attack). Level 3 typically have 3 traits, and most traits will be double value... Level 3 are significantly higher level than the other two. Human-Goblin hybrids will copy their mother's traits. This applies to all captures: additional neko from City will be Level 2, elves from Village Level 1.

  • Level 1: AdventurerCamp, Farm, Village, AmbushSpot, or for purchase
  • Level 2: Castle, City
  • Level 3: Metropolis, AlchemistTower
Note that as of v68.6, the Named NPCs like Mifia have stats that are higher level than Level 1 slaves. In early game especially, you should use these Named NPCs as breeders, swapping out the Level 1 slaves to spots as cows or in the brothel. Later in the game, early named NPCs like Mifia will have inferior stats to the level 2 and 3 slaves captured.
The Brothel

Press 7 to go there, 8 to go to an additional holding area nearby. You can post slaves in the brothel and set the type of monster they'll service. This generates depravity and experience for the slave (good), money (OK), and potentially gets them pregnant (generally poor, see below).

  • Brothel is not a great place for breeding. The level of monsters that show up at brothel is the weighted mean average of the population. So, if you have 2 goblins, a level 1 and level 51, a level 26 goblin will be the breeder. If you're doing a general breeding run to improve your monsters, and have a full range of levels from low to high, this is something to watch for. See below for how to use this to your advantage in a very specific use case. To prevent births, you can: Set the brothel slaves off automatic and just let them stay pregnant, or click the "Duration" button and set table/bed time to a large number (100,000 = 27.7 in-game days) to keep the monster from ever "finishing". Setting the table/bed to "Anal Only" work inconsistently, and not at all for hybrids, named NPCs, or certain versions of Brothel restraints... in V68.4.5 even oral sex could impregnate slaves.
  • Raises Depravity and Experience at same rate as other breeding actions. Note depravity rises 20% faster for Abominations and Werewolves than Goblins, as elsewhere, and that additional animations unlock as depravity increases. Human/Elf/Neko share animation, hybrids have unique animations as in other areas. Slaves placed early in the game into the Brothel will also be your most experienced, with most hours having sex. This makes them prime candidates for the Succubus Potion and Mark of Lust, which are indexed based on experience.
  • Make you Money, as slaves earn 1 point per minute they're mating as a starting point but as of v68.4.4, the payout increases up to 100%(? actually can't read what it says) the longer they are in the brothel. Out of the box, the tables are set to 90 minutes of mating (the game add 30 minutes of mating to whatever number is in the Duration field) plus 10 minutes rest. That's a 90% cycle time, so 1260 points per day. There is no negative impact to setting rest time to zero, so upper limit is something like 1440 points a day per table. All NPC / Monster pairings earn the same amount. Since money doesn't matter much in the current game, the impact is mostly aesthetic, with new animations that differ from breeding areas... Best uses are to build depravity for new slaves, or use in late stage of game to screw around.

The hit box for the brothel tables and beds is really poor, and there's no visual indication an area's been selected. Easiest way is tapping one of the uprights (table), or lower board/mattress, while looking at the table/bed in same direction as the monsters face and zoom in on it. If you are looking "sideways" along the tables, you may select the one you are hovering over, which will be out of your sightline.... make sure you pay attention to nearby tables as you toggle changes; you may be altering the settings on a nearby table/bed and not realize it. For that reason, it's almost required to have a slave in place as you change settings, to make sure you've selected the right one, though this ironically makes the table/bed harder to select. I usually set the Duration to a value, and use unique numbers for the tables: 111,111 for first, 222,222 for second, etc., so I can keep track of which table is being changed.

Using Brothel as Breeding Location for Dungeon (Adaptive Difficulty / Second Raid)

There's a special case for using the Brothel as a breeding location: For the second Dungeon raid where you need a bunch of monsters really quickly. Since the brothel breeds goblins of weighted mean average" level, it will actually create improved goblins as long as you have no low level goblins in inventory. It works like this:

  • Sell all goblins, retaining only 1 of highest level, or 2-3 of exactly the same level. Let's say, you start with a pair of level 44 goblins
  • Set those goblins to breed in area 1 or 2 with breeding slaves, including Senira if you have her
  • Set Brothel up with new unpregnant slaves and set them to Automatically birth when pregnant. Set tables they are at to Duration to 1, Rest to 0
  • In this case, you'll be breeding goblins a point or three higher than 44, so goblins in Brothel will likewise be higher level than 44 (say, level 46)
  • They will in turn breed higher level goblins, increasing the weighted mean average level of goblins, and likewise increasing level of Brothel posted goblins. There's an upper limit to this, which is why you continue to breed higher level goblins in breeding areas 1 and 2 to increase the weighted average level
  • Continue to swap out improved goblins in areas 1 and/or 2 after you set up the Brothel
  • Once you get to 18 goblins + abominations + werewolves, launch the raid before the area resets at 1:00! Really, 10 monsters at the resultant level should be enough Dungeon has only 10 guards, and beating the clock is more important than having a full crew.

I discovered the above dynamic by accident, but mathematically it makes sense. There are several advantages to building the last raid squad this way:

  • Breeding goblins automatically increase in level along with births; no need to move goblins
  • Breeding goblins are infinite; no need to wait for births, the goblins are just magically "there"
  • Gives you 6 extra breeding locations to work with; for 13 spots total. Using this, you can breed an entire raiding party above level 44 (in above example) in just a few in-game hours.
Making money

There's not a lot of reason to actually make money in this game right now, but if you feel the need to max this out, here are some strategies:

  • Keep the brothel full. Fill it with Level 1 human slave captures or hybrids and turn off automatic so they just stay pregnant or set to anal-only. This one's a no-brainer, requires no active work, and will by itself be adequate for whatever money you need to raise during the game.
  • Sell Goblins. As of v68.4.5.3.1 Goblins now sell for more money the higher level they are. So, perhaps, let the brothel slaves get pregnant, then sell the offspring. Seems like a lot of work to manage... but it's a strategy.
  • Sell your extra loot and slaves. Raids deliver loot in the form of potions and other items. Sell the stuff you don't need. The later stats potions are especially valuable. Additionally, any slaves that can't be placed in brothel or bred can be sold.
  • Sell extra milk. Dairy for profit

--- Start of Deprecated Information / Parking Lot ---
v68.7 Troll
While you're breeding your milk cow slave, mate the other two slaves with the Troll located in the slave pen. This will increase their depravity to 5 in the time it takes for the milk cow to run through one breeding cycle. Repeat this process for any new captures that you intend to use as breeders, or otherwise need to maximize depravity, which increases at 5X the rate of goblins.

Failing Raids with Special NPCs
If you fail certain first raids, you can lose access to the special character there for awhile... e.g. if you fail the first Village or City raid, Luleth and Senira (respectively) will not be there on subsequent raids, and neither will any other elves / neko / humans.
Failing a raid in these areas requires you to wait 2 in-game days for the area to reset. So, if you fail one of these raids, you'll need to let the in-game clock pass through 1:00 twice before re-raiding. Re-raiding the next day will yield no NPC slaves, and set you back yet another day.
So, failing these raid is a real setback for later levels if you're doing a speedrun.
This dynamic also applies to AlchemistTower, which will yield nothing on re-raid, and won't reset the following day if you re-raid it.
Raids Reset at 1:00

  • All areas reset for raids at 1:00 game time, you can tell because they'll jump back into position afterwards.
  • You can re-raiding the same area multiple times during the day; it appears less and less stuff and NPCs will be there on subsequent raids.
  • For Special NPC areas: If you open the Raid menu an float your mouse over the small heads on the lower left side of each area, you'll see a percentage pop up on tool tip. On a fully reset location with special NPC, the head on the left will show 75%. For Village and City, there's a second head for elf and neko NPCs, respectively, that will be 25% when reset. The two will add to 100%, and areas with no special NPC will always be 100%. It appears to show something like probability of getting special NPC (so, 1/4 chance of special NPC for any NPC caught.) My max yield of elves from Village is 3 at one shot, so the probabilities are non-dependent. Each time you raid the area same-day, the chance of catching a special NPC there goes down by ~8%: 25% > 16% > 8%.
  • Note that no area is guaranteed to have NPCs at any time, but it appears that definitively defeating an area (killing all defenders) yields more NPCs than if you barely conquer it.
  • Areas will disappear from the Raid list after they've been raided multiple times during day.
    Old Hybrid pre v68.6
  • As an experiment, I tried running a game with just hybrids, selling all human captures and using elves only for milk. The game ran ~2 in-game days longer to defeat the last area, and had to sell ~20 hybrids because they kept piling up in inventory.
