Updated 05.08: BURST system, Refinement Shop, minor rewrites
/bd2g/ FAQ
Click to jump to the relevant section. If you already figured the game out read at least the Newglutti Tips and Other FAQ
I saw an L2D of a girl getting whipped/stripped/manhandled. How do I do that?
Obtain 1 copy of that girl's costume and check the Glupy Diner pack once you unlock it - chances are she'll be there as Fated Guest. Start dating her, unlock her special interaction, and go wild. Nebris (Newbie Pass) and Morpeah (Event Mission) are your starter wives.
Who do I take from the Infinite Reroll?
The tutorial reroll has a limited pool. Celia and Eleaneer are popular options, but you can choose any 5★ you like the looks of.
You get to recruit the girls you didn't chose (+a dupe for the girl you did choose) for free from the pub later anyway.
Celia (left) is a chainer/debuffer for endgame PvE raids. The main value in recruiting her now is for her Overworld Skill, which is a great QoL to have. Activate Lathel or Zenith's [Search] skill, then use Celia's [Absorb] to instantly gather all the weekly finds on a map (including the hidden ones).
Eleaneer is an 11/10 sexo alternative if you'd rather have an extra DPS or just want all of that boobage on your homescreen. She excels in PvP (at +3), but also comes in very handy in some of the later story packs (taunt/counter mobs).
For Equipment, the value is Kry's UR Swords > Eleaneer's SR Bow (if you chose her)/Wiggle's UR Bomb > Justia's SR Sword.
Don't waste hours trying to get Celia + Kry's Swords or any such perfect roll, it's all just minor stuff. Any of the above will help you get started.

How to "True Reroll"?
Account rerolling isn't worth it in this game. The game shits out monthly free pulls, and (almost) every girl has her uses.
If you still really want to do it: Play the first story pack until you get your starter pulls, collect pulls from events/codes, and choose your pickup banner.
✔️Got the rate-up girl or a double/triple 5★ hit? Keep (link account).
❌Didn't get the rate-up girl or any double/triple 5★ hits? Restart.
Newglutti Tips
- Autobattle works for early story, not beyond that. Position, Buff, Attack.
- UREX/gear banners in this game are for rank chasers, or if the unit is (you)r wife. UREX gear offers ~10% more damage vs. crafted URIVs (free), and you'll also get some UREXs for free every month.
Feel free to give UREX banners a shot if she's your wife or she is crazy good, but burning all your newglutti pulls on these is a good way to brick. - You get a daily free pull on every banner. Rather than maxing a unit on Day 1 you might want to wait and see what the free pulls give you first.
- Use your monthly selective enhancement (Gold Thread Shop) to max out core supports like DSLiberta/Bride Refi before you spend it on a DPS unit.
- Tears of Goddess are rare. Don't spend them on 3/4★ units that are not Arines/Elpis/Student Samay, on DPS increases for non-DPS units (Olstein/Celia), or on Tanks & Fixed Damage dealers unless you are into PvP (Alec/Justia/Lecliss/Glacia etc).
- Join a GUILD after clearing Main Story SP3. You get a daily 50.000 gold just for checking in, which is a huge deal for a new player.
- If you like the game and can afford it: The $4.29 MEGA package gives you five 5★ costumes, 100+ pulls, 2 good gear sets, and half a year's worth of materials. It is a value that you won't see in BD2 or any gacha ever again. It is available for 3 days after you start, and won't return after.
- In Event Battles, you don't need to deploy the Event Costumes to get the extra currency. Just owning a copy of that costume will give the boost.
Teambuilding 101
BD2 meta is all about Buffers and Gear. Pair your 2 strongest (AoE) DPS with buffers like Elpis/B-Helena (if magic) or Arines/Liberta (if physical), give your best gear to your DPS, and make sure that your buffers always go first in the skill order.
Any remaining slots in your party are flex. These can be units to reposition enemies with their push skills for more AoE coverage, extra DPS to clean up leftover mobs, a crowd-controller like Olstein/Lucrezia (Silence), or an extra buffer or vulnerability applier.
Tanks in this game are for PvP. If you do need to tank something in regular PvE Andrew (4★ taunt/dodge tank) or Rou will usually suffice since you can just restart the turn if a crucial dodge fails. Other options are walling with bikini Morpeah's summons or Bikini Justia's 100% dodge (free from the Summer Knight pack).
Physical or Magical?
Physical is what the game starts you out with and currently has the highest potential at endgame once well-invested.
Magic one-shots everything until you reach that point with its superior free/welfare units and buffers.
Early on it will be easier to build a strong magic team than a strong physical team.
Clearing Content
Most PvE can be one-shot with a buffed and geared up AoE DPS unit. Use push skills as needed and position well to make AoEs connect.
TIP: Play the monthly Taros Tactics Manual on the Homescreen to learn about positioning (knockbacks) and making hits connect.
When you run into HP bloat and cannot one-shot you need to improve your characters and/or play by the Elements System. This means using an elemental buffer (Diana/Refi) + 1~2 DPS of a stronger element than the mobs you're facing. Elements are your standard Fire>Wind>Water>Fire, with Light and Dark being strong & weak against each other.
Besides playing by Elements a lot of battles can be also be cheesed by using a Silencer (Olstein/Lucrezia), stalling until the death time buffs (BVMorpeah summons), a buffed/shielded up Apostle Blade (grid-wide counters), or using the "Continue" function (if the boss is within killing range).
You can also borrow 3 units per game mode, 3x per day from other players. There's always solutions.
Starter Teams
General PvE Template: Buffer>Pusher/Flex>AoE DPS>DPS>Flex
The game starts you with Physical, so your very first team will likely look something like this:

You likely won't use this for long, as new players have access to several free +5 mages who will just delete stuff and carry a lot of the game for you.
One of your first goals should thus be to complete the Costume Missions (Homescreen>Events at the bottom) for your free +5 Dalvi and Eclipse, and to +5 B-Helena through the special tickets you get from the Newbie Pass or the $4.29 MEGA package (Recommend Select Draw).

B-Helena, Elpis, Eclipse and Dalvi, a very accessible and solid early magic team.
Whether you play Magic or still prefer Physical, you can swap out units for stronger buffers or DPS as you obtain them.
Stick to either physical or magical DPS on a team+the buffers to support them. Some buffers like Teresse and Refi are not tied to either type.

Gear, Levels & Collection
BD2 Power Scaling
Gear (on DPS) = Using Buffers > Costume Upgrades (BURST, Dupes & Potential (Bonding)) = Collection >> Engraving (Awakening) > Levels
Levels are a simple, good boost for your characters early on. Dispatch to Slime Island on days where it has 2x
rates active, and push Lv60~80 on your strongest DPS first. Combat power is a meme, your team doesn't need to be equal in level.
Do your Slime dispatches until you unlock UR Gear Crafting. At that point the game passively gives you enough slimes to gradually Lv100 everyone.
Collection is an account-wide HP, ATK% and MATK% buff that is applied to all your characters. You increase your collection bonus by finding (hidden) interactable objects in the packs, progressing story, and the first time you obtain a new gear piece. The max. bonus per stat is 80%.
GEAR however is the single most impactful factor in the game besides buffers.
-Start by having Fred/Layla craft 5 Blue (R) IV sets. Upgrade the pieces to +9, optionally refine for Grade 12~14. DPS first.
-The next stop is UR Gear. Bulk craft/dismantle N-grade Swords/Armors to quickly level your crafter and unlock UR Crafting.
Don't forget to upgrade Fred's/Layla's skill every time the Crafting XP bar is full. The 3★ Books you need are sold by the vendors in some packs; 4★ Books come from the Tower of Pride. You can one-shot pretty much all 6 floors there with a buffed up AoE DPS or two.
Once you have unlocked UR Crafting your goal will be to aim for UR III and ideally UR IV gear.
Gear Priority: Venomous Touch > Gloves/Weapon > Armors/Helmets (2x DEF or 2x MRES) >> rest
Gear can be swapped between characters, so with 4-6 Venomous Touches, 2 MATK/CDMG Staffs, 2 ATK/CDMG Swords, 2 (non-crit) Phys gloves and 2 Magic gloves you can already get very far. You will want to aim for a Grade18 refinement score onthe URIV versions of these equipments.
Below are the most commonly crafted pieces. Ones not shown here are situational (for specific characters or PvP):

TIPS:
- Accessories (Venom. Touch) and Armors/Helmets are NOT class-specific - any unit can equip these. Try to get 3x Crit.DMG rolls on your first few URIV Venom.Touches and Armors/Helmets. This way your mages can survive and still do their damage vs physical bosses, and vice versa.
- Weapons and Gloves however are class-specific (phys or magic). Generally people put the ATK% and MATK% rolls on these. %Percentage values beat flat values in 90% of the cases.
- Bulk redeem the codes on the BD2Wiki Homepage for a Free URIII Venomous Touch. The 3-day MEGA package ($4.29) comes with two full UR III sets.
Where to get UR Materials?
- Ancient Crystals (ACs): Event Shop, Towers (Pride), Last Night. You get mailed ACs daily based on your recorded highest score.
- Crafting Materials: Daily missions, sweeping up the weekly "finds" on maps, and rice dispatches.
- Ability Pills: Event Shop. If you need more you can also buy them from any pack vendor for gold. Tip: Complete 1 purple/bulletin board quest in that pack first for a week long daily -10% discount.
- Gold: Join a guild (50.000 daily), recruit Olstein (SP4 Pub) for his cat dispatches, improve your Last Night score, and get the limited golds from the event+other shops. You can supplement this by activating Teresse's Overworld skill and bumping into monsters while it is active, selling food ingredients to shops, or dispatching to Goblin Ruins VH on days where it has 2x rewards.
Costume Upgrades (BURST, Potential etc)
Besides equipping good gear and using buffers there are also many ways to increase a specific costume's strength.
DUPES: Costumes can be enhanced to max +5. For most costumes +1 has the important -SP cost reduction, while the remaining dupes just add damage. Weapons however cannot be enhanced with dupes, and crafted gear is almost as good as the banner UREXs.
BURST (Char>Costume>Upgrade): Spend extra SP to massively boost a costume (skill) for that turn, a power spike surpassing even dupes. Focus on unlocking BURST on owned good buffers first and Main DPS/Nukers second. Ask in bd2g if you are not sure. BURST works in all game modes, PvP and LN included. If you buyout all shops you can B3 about 3 costumes per month.
Potential (Char>Costume>Upgrade) enhances that costume's skills and gives hefty stat boosts on top. You can only "equip" the stat boosts of one costume at a time (Char>Info>Bonding), but skill nodes and minor stat boosts are applied permanently.
Engraving/Awakening (Char>Info>Engraving): A DPS boost for players who have finished all the above. Skip for now, or only get the ATK node.
Q: What Skill Potentials do I get first?
Focus on skill nodes that reduce a costume's cooldown or SP cost. Again, owned buffers first and good DPS second - with one exception.
If you are still clearing packs AND own Bunny Loen or Sacred Justia:
- Damage per Target+ and Skill Range+ on these.
In all other cases/after:
- -SP Cost on owned buffers/supports (B-Helena, B.Refi etc)>DPS.
- -Skill Cooldowns on units like Diana, Curse Celia, DJVenaka, Maid Lia etc.
- +Skill Range on buffers like on Bride Refi, Diana, MCTeresse>DPS like Loen, Venaka, Maid Liatris
- +% (Self)-Buff Values on buffers like Liberta and B-Helena, Diana>DPS like NH.Nebris
- +Vulnerability/Augmentation on those units: Track Levia, GRafina, WDVenaka, Y.Blade
- Damage (%) increments on good DPS.
Q: What Bond Costume do I Equip?
Elemental Damage+ in content where type matchups matter: Hunts/Guild Raids (non-Diana teams), H/VH Packs or Tower stages you are stuck on.
(M)ATK and CDMG for general PvE, Last Night, or Hunts/Guild Raids (if Diana is on your team).
Anything with big defensive stats (HP/DEF/MRES) and/or Crit.Rate is for PvP.
Units, Banners & Pulling
A good many costumes can be obtained for free (Pub, Newbie Pass, Welfare, Character Passes, Shops). For the rest it's gacha time.
BD2 has costume and gear banners. Both have separate pity trackers, and pity carries over between banners.
Costume banners are where it's at, since freely crafted URIVs are almost as good as banner gear. Costumes support dupes (max +5); gear does not.
You get a free daily pull on every banner, and 10 pulls cashback the first 5 times you obtain the rate-up costume.
Pity: 10 pulls for a random 4★, 100 pulls for a 5★ (50/50 between the rate-up or random 5★).
Hard Pity: Every time you pull on a banner you obtain a banner-specific [Draw Point]. 200 of these points exchange to the banner target. Obtaining a costume this way does not reset your regular pity progress (to a 100), so don't worry.
Unused draw points are collected after that banner ends and converted into a global currency you can exchange for costumes in a shop.
Q: Do I PULL or SAVE?
Pull moderately, and PULL when good units are up.
June and December~January are the game's anniversaries, and most stacked months in the game. The game has lots of generous events around that time, but you can start to save up a month in advance to be safe.
Who to Pull/Build?
The girls you like most, since that is what gachas are about. Especially this one, as mostly every girl has her use. Only few units are 'bad'.
If Meta: Aim to +5 good buffers, and work your way up to having at 2 good DPS per element. Most costumes give their -SP reduction at +1.
See the Tier List for reference, anything in S tier or up is a costume you can safely invest in.
The game gives you a daily pull per banner + ~300 pulls + 5 guaranteed 5★ costumes per month. The system is designed so that even 100% F2Ps can obtain at least 1 copy of every banner girl as she appears. This single copy is enough to unlock her dating content (if any) and L2D+cutscene.
Pulling Strategy & Limiteds
Since you a free daily pull on every banner a popular strategy is pull to +3, and then wait to see what the free daily pulls give you first.
On the final day you can then push that unit to +4 and optionally choose to max her (+5) with the Powder Shop copy afterwards.
Limited units however cannot be obtained outside of their banners in any way. You will need to pull for the desired dupe level while it is active.
Limiteds rerun every year during the period they first debuted, which is Summer or Winter. Collab limiteds are purely preference pulls.
SHOPS: What do I buy?
The Event Shop and costumes in the Power Shop reset every 2 weeks. Everything else is monthly (1st of each month).
Event Shop
The UR gear piece is great for new accounts, as its guaranteed SSS rolls puts it on par with a URIII+ piece in quality.
Especially UR Event Weapons, Gloves and Double Crit. DMG accessories will be massive boosts for your DPS units and thus account.
When buying UR Gear remember that you also need 27 gear tokens to fully upgrade it (=2700 event currency, so total 5700).
- UR Piece + 27 gear tokens
If you started too late to clean out the current shop (or if the UR is shit):
- 3x Tears of Goddess → Ancient Crystals → Spark of Rampage
- Draw Tickets
- Newglutti growth materials (4★ Stars, Red Slimes) as needed + and the limited Gold/Ability Pills
- Essences/Refining Crystals as needed
- Dump the rest into Refining Powders until the event ends. You'll thank me later.

Gold Thread Shop
You get these every time you obtain a dupe of a costume that is already +5. As soon as you have your 4★ units maxed out these will start to go up.
Mostly a shop for spenders/whales, but the system is designed so that you can afford the monthly selector even as a non-spender.
- Monthly Costume Selective Enhancement (1600). The only guaranteed way to force +1 on a costume outside of its banner. Buffers>DPS.
The random costume (1600) may sometimes also be worth it, or be worth it even more. Ask in /bd2g/ if not sure. - Sparks of Rampage

Powder Shop
Here you can buy 1 copy of any costume whose banner just ended. Powders come from unspent draw points on expired banners.
TIP: Remember to convert your draw points on the 12pick Selective Draw to powders at times - this is not done automatically!
- Whichever costume(s) you like or are good. When in doubt ask in /bd2g/.
- Spark of Rampage

Mirror Wars Shop (PvP)
Tokens come from your daily PvP matches + Passes.
- Monthly 5★ Costume
- Spark of Rampage
- 2000x Refining Powders
- 100x Gold
Get the costume if it is a good (ask in bd2g if not sure). If the costume is shit (or you don't need it) skip it and get the rest instead.
18000 tokens for the costume seems steep, but there is a trick to it. Assemble an offense/defense team and let your 40 free runs manually play out once, the first time you do Mirror Wars after the weekly reset. Set the speed to 3x and enable auto-skip. On all subsequent days of the week set the cocktail consumption to 40 to burn them all daily tokens in a single one-tap.
Evil Castle Shop (Tower)
A store tied to the 6-floor Tower of Pride, aimed at newer players. You get tokens mailed to you daily based on your recorded score (how many of the 6 floors you cleared). At endgame you can do a one-time "perfect clear" ToP1-6 run to double the amount of daily tokens earned.
- 4★ Ability S. Books as needed. This is the only place in the game to get them.
- Refining Powders → Gold
- Monthly Essences & Scrolls as needed.
Guild Shop
Deeds are mailed to you based on score thresholds your guild reaches during the monthly Guild Raid, and what rank it reached at the end.
- Spark of Rampage → Tear → Draw Tickets
- Elixirs
- Essences/Scrolls as needed.
- Refining Powders / save for next month's items.

Golden Colosseum Shop
Tactical equalized gear PvP mode, so anyone can do this. You get 100 entries per week, 10 wins/week ensures you can buy all the essentials.
This is the most stacked shop in the game, so just throw anything together every 2 weeks and get your 10 wins.
- 2x 5★ Property Select Draw Ticket (Value: Wind=Light>Dark>Fire/Water).
- Spark of Rampage
- Ancient Crystals → Draw Tickets → Limited Gold/Powders/Elixirs
- If you are into chibi, MyRoom or ID Card dressup or lifestyle skins: this is one of the few place in the game to obtain Deco Coins.

Fishing Shop
A shop for players who have progressed the Fishing system to certain point.
Focus on buying at least a 12.5k rod and reaching min. Lv3 bote first to generate a decent enough passive income.
- Powders → Gold
- Deco Coins (optional)
Refinement Remnants (NEW)
A shop for whales and veterans who have been playing the powder grinding game for a long time.
Recommended Ticket Value: VT (24)>Gloves (23)>UREX Weapon on good DPS of the element you want to compete in (22)
- 24-point Ticket. The limit gets increased by +1 every (half) anni, so keep 10k Powders on you for June and December.
- Sparks of Rampage
- 23 Point Tickets (Gloves/secondary VTs)
Pub System: Recruitment Contracts
You can recruit a number of useful 3-5★ costumes for free via the Pub system.
The Newbie Pass gives you a lot of the Recruitment Contracts, but outside of that they are a rare resource. Most people trade their 3★ and 4★ Contracts into 5★ ones (Shop>Items) since you'll automatically max out all 3★ and 4★ units while pulling on banners anyway.
Fixed recruits will show up in the pub of their story pack after you cleared it on Normal, and stay there until you recruit them.
Chance % recruits can appear anytime from as early as SP1. These change every 2h.
Each pub unit can only be recruited once. After you have recruited them they will be removed from the pub and pool.
TIP: If there's a specific Chance % 5★ unit you want clear out the 3★ characters in the pub, it'll increase the chance of that 5★ appearing.
Q : Which Pub 5★ do I recruit first?
- Diana (Fixed/SP10 pub)
-Free daily gems or other important goodies (Rice) via her dispatch ability. - Olstein (Fixed/SP4 pub)
-Gold generator for newgluttis via his dispatch ability. Can also cheese a lot of PvE content for you with his 3x3 AoE Silence. - Dark Saintess Liberta (Fixed/SP15 Pub)
-BIS Physical buffer. Needs +3 to replace Arines, so this copy helps.
-Has Absorb for fast map clearing. - Mamonir (Chance %)
-The latest meta chainer. 8chains with good damage over a large area, multiple turns for only 3SP total. - Liatris (Fixed/SP8 pub)
-Lower priority due to the welfare units you get, but still very good to get past that pesky 1st Floor in Tower of Pride and unlock the rest of the tower. - Celia (Chance %)
-Map-wide absorb and core chainer for endgame PvE (raids).
Other worthwhile recruits include Venaka, Blade, Rou (SP4/Fixed), Helena, Refi, Granadair and Palette.
These are no immediate priority, you can get them when you have a second spare 5★ Contract.
TIP: Check the Pub List to see which units have a pub copy available - keep this in mind when pulling on their banners!
Try to keep 1 spare 5★ Contract on you after recruiting Diana!
This way you can recruit new Story 5★ units as they appear and get 10 Draw Tickets during her banner.
The Select Draw Banners
The game has a number of permanent banners in place that allow players to focus on what parts of their roster they want to raise up first.
Remember that every spook will pay itself back some day through its rerun banner.
[Newgluttis] Recommend Select Draw
This is a prefixed pool of 12 costumes. You get 12 exchange tickets from the Newbie Pass, and 5 more from the $4.29 MEGA package.
You can access this exchange anytime so long as you have a remaining ticket ("Use" from inventory). The MEGA package however is only available for 3 days after your first login, and will not rerun once it expires.

The best value here is to +5 B-Helena and +4 Diana, as you get 1 free copy of Diana from Story Pack 10.
Remaining tickets can be put towards +2~4 Levia (great synergy with your free mages) or getting at least 1 copy of Zenith, Rafina, Refi and Loen each.
H-Lathel is a good phys buffer, but only sees situational use these days. WDVenaka is in the pub, but it is another copy to get closer to her desired +3.
Seir/Ventana/Rubia are too niche and are not recommended.
[Limited] 1-Pick Select Draw
Simply put, this lets you to re-create a pickup banner for any past (non-limited unit) of choice. The selected unit gets the same (very slightly better) rates as during her actual pickup banner. The target girl can be swapped out any time, but you can only swap 10 times total.
This banner is great for users who want to force +5 on high value units like Dark Saint Liberta or Bride Refi, or really want a specific Fated Guest/unit. The 1-pick select is only active during the game's anniversary events, which tend to give out lots of purple tickets to use on this or the 12pick draw.

[Permanent] 12-Pick Select Draw
The game's standard banner. You slot in 12 costumes of choice, and every 5★ you obtain while pulling will be one of the selected costumes.
The exception is the guaranteed 5★ every 100th pull, which still has a 50% chance to be a random spook.
This is a great banner to slowly raise your roster over time, as it greatly reduces the chance of undesired spooks. However, keep in mind that the 12-Pick does not have the 200 hard pity system in place - draw points only exchange to powders.
You can casually toss purple tickets at this as you obtain them. If you are close to an anni month though it may be better to save for the 1-Pick.
Only spend red tickets on this very sporadically (if you feel lucky), and do NOT use the 12-Pick to try and force just that last copy to +5 a unit.
Tips:
- Slot in at least 2 good Carry DPS/Nukers. The rest should be buffers/supporters, with 1-2 slots saved for Utility units or girls (you) like.
See this Tier List for ideas: Any unit on S-tier or up is a safe investment. - Some units like Nebris, Palette, Sylvia are high investment. If you are new consider newglutti friendly alternatives like SG.Tyr, Mamonir and S.Justia.
- Diana and B-Helena are free +5 costumes and are not listed. But you can slot them in if you used your Newbie Pass Tickets on other units.
- Keep in mind that you get 1 copy of certain costumes for free from the pub: units like DS.Liberta, GRefi and SE.Rafina can be removed at +4 and finished with the pub copy.
Personal recommendation below for reference, but you can swap units for who you like more.

If you use the above: Swap Zenith & Refi for their other costumes once these are +5. Saint Liberta/GRafina/Levia can be swapped for other units at +4.
[Limited] 12-Pick "Golden Hand" Select Draw
A paid version of the 12-pick select draw, this once-per-account banner guarantees you three 5★ costumes of the 12 you slot in for $17.
The 5★ costumes are randomly selected from the 12 you wishlisted, and you cannot reroll for a different outcome.
[Limited] Special Infinite Draw

A paid version of the Tutorial Infinite Reroll, featuring every (non-limited) unit released before the current patch. It is available 1-2x per year.
There is no limit on the amount of rerolls you can do, and you can get multiple 5★ in one 10-pull.
You can even quit midway to continue rolling another day, so with enough patience you can roll for 3 good 5★ costumes for $17.
Spending Tips (F2P/Casual)
Get the 3-day MEGA Package ($4.29) even if you don't plan to spend on this game ever. Five 5★ costumes, 100+ pulls, 2 URIII gear sets, and 6+ months' worth of materials for <$5, it's a value you won't see ever again. This package is available for 3days after you start the game, and won't rerun.
The next best options are the RENEW Special Dash Packages, the Monthly Dia Packs, and generally any time-limited packages or passes with terms like "MEGA", "ANNIVERSARY" or "DELUXE" in the name. See the Value per pack Reference.
If you want to spend beyond the $4.29 MEGA pack, do it during the game's (mini) anniversaries. These have the best deals of the year by far.
BD2 Webshop
BD2 also has a Webshop. It has periodical events that give a -20% coupon or free in-game goodies.
What makes the webshop great is that it allows you to easily change your region to for example Japan and its way cheaper Yen currency, which makes a prestige skin cost $45 max instead of $60 and a special skin $10-12 instead of $17. The developers have endorsed this by repeatedly reminding players that the webshop region change option exists. It is great for casual spenders or those without a Google JP Payment Profile/high Playstore lvl.
NOTE: When using the JP/Yen option you may need to use a VPN set to Japan to complete checkout depending on the chosen payment option. Even just a free one like Tunnelbear, Mudfish will do it - just activate the VPN, refresh the web store front page, and finalize your purchase. Webshop mileage also expires after 30days. Start with your single biggest planned purchase first (use the -20% coupon here), then use up your mileage on cheaper stuff.
Other FAQ
How F2P friendly is this game?
A casual F2P account generates 300+ free pulls per month (more during Annis). This excludes the daily free banner pulls.
Without spending a single ticket you are also guaranteed five 5★ costumes per month (2x Gold Colosseum, 1x Tower of Salvation, 1x PvP Shop, 1x monthly Character Pass).
Is there any content that is unobtainable as a free player?
There are cosmetic-only paid skins (gacha or direct purchase), and 1 of the 2 battle passes has a paid track.
Everything else, including the Fated Guest interactive L2D scenes are 100% freely obtainable.
Do I buy the Premium Track on the regular Season Pass (1000 Dias)?
Yes, always. It accepts free Dias and yields ~16 pulls profit on top of the other goodies.
TIP: Buy it once you reached LV17. That way you'll finish the pass in one go and skip the increased EXP requirements for Lv17-20.
When is the Daily Reset?
00:00 UTC. On patch days the servers go down for maintenance 10mins prior (23:50 UTC).
All Ranked Content closes earlier: FH/GR/Gold Colosseum at 15:00 UTC on Wednesday, and Mirror Wars at 15:00 UTC on Sunday.
What do I use Property Draw Tickets on?
Wind=Light>Dark>Fire/Water
Can I buy an account?
Up to you. I don't think there is a point to it because the game shits out free pulls and past collab units (not meta) get reruns anyway.
Note that accounts that have illegally generated currency on them or used chargebacks do get caught in sweeps, so if you do buy one be smart.
[Search] What Packs do I sweep every week?
The town+battle maps of Main Story SP7, 8, 9, 13, 16, 17, 1, 2 and Firechip. 3 maps per pack. Finds reset once per week; search charges reset daily.
Remember to activate the Search Overworld skill first and Absorb after to also retrieve the weekly hidden finds.
You can 'pin' the above maps in the pack select menu for easy access.
How to get more Refining Powders/Refinement Mileage?
Dispatch to HG9VH (Mountain Shelter Very Hard) and do your weekly search/absorb sweeps in the maps mentioned above.
Craft N Mercenary Weapons/Armors: Batches of 2000, upgrades set to +6, max attempts/gold, and "auto dismantle" ON.
This gives you 18k powders for 406k gold and 6k woods (or 6k iron ores), with the least amount of ability pills used.
You can also +6 and dismantle UR I/II gears you got while crafting for URIVs, but this is expensive. It shouldn't be your main source for powders.
Should I save UREX dupes?
If you are into PvP you can keep a copy of Morpeah's and Granhildr's UREX for separate rolls. In all other cases +6 UREX dupes and dismantle.
What Refinement Grades should I have?
Any R18 Refinement on URIV gear is a good budget stopping point. Anything higher is for rank chasers.
When refining the priority is Venomous Touch>Gloves>UREX Gear/Weapons. Armors/Helmets don't need to be R18 unless you PvP.
How to increase my Last Night score?
Obtain at least 1 copy of (ideally +5) of Bride Refi, Onsen Liberta and Miko Granadair. The rest is slotting in other buffers>chainers>the best DPS you have at the end of your lineup. If you are new, slot in the Nebris you get from the Newbie Pass + PoVLathel (free +2 from clearing SP7 on all 3 difficulties) last in the load order, at spots 19/20.
Besides that work on your Support Bonus: Crafting full SRIII +6 sets for every owned unit that isn't participating in the attack lineup is a great and cheap way to get lots of damage for free. Keep in mind gear rolls don't matter for support bonus, so just give them whatever you've got.
Why is the game named "Brown Dust"?
Koreans love to use cool sounding English names and terms for their games.
The idea was that it refers to the dust that is kicked up by armies marching to battle, but it played out a bit different.
I asked a question and now people are trying to lick me. Is this normal?
