To claim your free Liberta skin reach LV2 on the Golden Tamago Season Pass, then check your mailbox. Obtain at least 1 copy of Liberta's Onsen Manager costume (currently on rate-up), then apply the skin to it.

Click to jump to the relevant section. Even if you already figured the game out please at least read the Newglutti Tips and Other FAQ

I saw an L2D of a girl getting whipped/stripped. How do I get that?

Obtain 1 copy of that girl's costume and check the Glupy Diner pack once you unlock it - chances are she'll be there as Fated Guest. Start dating her, unlock her special interaction, and go wild. Nebris (Newbie Pass) and Morpeah (Event Mission) are you starter wives.

Who do I take from the Infinite Reroll?

Celia and Eleaneer are popular options, but you can choose any 5★ you like the looks of.
You get to recruit the girls you didn't chose (+a dupe for the girl you did choose) for free from the pub later anyway.

Celia (left) is a chainer for (endgame) PvE boss fights and raids. The main value in recruiting her now is that it lets you use her Field Skill (absorb all map finds) right away, which is a great QoL to have. Tip: Activate Lathel or Zenith's Search first, that way she also absorbs all hidden finds.
Eleaneer is an 11/10 sexo alternative if you'd rather have an extra (Phys) DPS option or just want all of her glorious boobage on your homescreen. She's the only non-limited 2SP dispel in the game (at +3), which makes her great in PvP and some of the later story packs (taunt/counter mobs).

For Equipment the value is Kry's UR Swords > Eleaneer's SR Bow (if you took her)/Wiggle's UR Bomb > Justia's SR Sword.
Don't waste hours trying to get Celia + Kry's Swords or any such perfect roll, it's all just minor stuff. Any of the above will help you.
Infinite

How to "True Reroll"?

Rerolling isn't worth it in this game. You get lots of pulls every month, and every girl has her uses. If you still really want to do it:
Play Story Pack 1 until you get your starter pulls, collect draw tickets from active events/codes, and pull on a banner you like.
✔️Got the rate-up girl a double/triple 5★ hit in those starter pulls? KEEP (link account)
❌Didn't get the rate-up girl or any double/triple 5★ hits? Restart.

Newglutti Tips

  1. UREX/gear banners are for rank chasers, or if the unit is (you)r wife. UREX gear usually only offers a ~10% damage boost compared to crafted URIVs (free). You'll also get some UREXs for free every month.
Feel free to give gear banners a shot if she's your wife or she is crazy good, but burning all your newglutti pulls on these is a good way to brick.
  2. You get a daily free pull on every banner. Rather than +5ing a new unit on Day 1 you might want to wait and see what the free pulls give you first.
  3. Use the monthly selector to max out core supports (eg Liberta/Diana/Refi) before you spend it on DPS units.
  4. Tears of Goddess are rare. Don't spend them on 3/4★ units that are not Arines/Elpis/Student Samay, DPS increases for non-DPS units (Olstein/Celia), or Tanks & Fixed Damage dealers unless you are into PvP (Alec/Justia/Lecliss/Glacia etc).
  5. Join a GUILD after clearing Main Story SP3. You get a daily 50.000 gold for checking in, which is a huge deal for a new player.
  6. If you like the game and can afford it: The $4.29 MEGA package gives you five 5★ costumes, 100+ pulls, a few good gear sets, and half a year's worth of materials. It is a value that you won't see in BD2 ever again, and is available from the in-game shop for 3 days after you start. You'll get a notification before it expires.

Teambuilding 101

BD2 is all about Buffers and Gear. Pair your 2 strongest DPS with Elpis/B-Helena (if magic) or Arines/Liberta (if physical), give your best gear to your strongest DPS, and make sure that your buffers go first in the skill load order.

Any remaining slots in your party are flex. These can be units to reposition enemies with their push skills (make your AoEs hit more mobs), to clean up leftover mobs, or to give extra buffs. Diana for example is a fantastic asset in any content where elemental advantage matters.
Tanks in this game are for PvP. If you do need one Andrew (4★ taunt/dodge tank) or Rou will usually suffice since you can just restart the turn if a crucial dodge fails. For endgame raids and PvP the team compositions are a bit different, but this will get you through the bulk of the game.

Physical or Magical?
Physical is what the game starts you out with and currently has the highest potential at endgame once well-invested.
Magic one-shots everything until you reach that point with its superior free/welfare DPS units and buffers.
Early on it will be easier to build a strong magic team than a strong physical team.

How to Clear Content?

Most PvE can be oneshot with a buffed and geared up AoE DPS unit. Use push skills and position well to make hits connect.
When you run into HP bloat and can't oneshot you need to improve your characters (gear/dupes) and/or play by the Elements System. This means using your free Diana (SP10 Pub+Newbie Pass) with 1-2 DPS of a stronger element than the mobs you're facing. For example, Diana+1-2 Fire DPS (and a silencer like Lucrezia) is a good way to deal with the wind mobs in the Firechip pack.

Besides playing by the Elements system a lot of content can be cheesed by using a Silencer (Olstein/Lucrezia), stalling for death time (BVMorpeah), buffing up Apostle Blade (grid-wide counters), or using the "Continue" function. "Continue" costs increasing amounts of gold so don't use it unless the boss is within killing range.
You can also borrow 3 units per game mode, up to 3x per day from a friend if you're stuck on something. There's always solutions.

Starter Teams

The game starts you with Physical, so your very first team will likely look something like this:
PhysLineup
Units: Buffer>Flex (Reposition)>AoE DPS (mob clearing)>Nuker DPS (elites/bosses or cleaning up leftovers)>Flex

You likely won't use this for very long, since new players have access to several free +5 mages who will just delete stuff and carry a lot of the game for you. One of your first goals should be to complete all Event Missions for Dalvi and Eclipse, and +5 Helena through the special tickets you get from the Newbie Pass (Recommend Select Draw).

StarterLineup
B-Helena, Elpis, Eclipse and Dalvi, a very accessible and solid magic team.

You can swap out Elpis/Dalvi for stronger magic buffers or DPS as you obtain them.

Gearing

Gear is the single most impactful factor in the game besides buffers. Have Fred/Layla craft a Blue (R) IV set for your main DPS units. Upgrade the pieces to +9 and refine them a couple times until they are no longer below Rank 12~14.
Likewise, dispatch to Slime Island on 2x rate-up days and feed the slimes to your strongest DPS. Your team doesn't need to be equal in level, combat power requirements are a meme in this game.

Where do I get Crafting Materials?
Open the boxes you get from completing daily missions and events, and sweep up the weekly "finds" on maps, esp. the ones in SP7, 8 , 9 and 17.
TIP: Use Lathel's or Zenith's [Search] ability and follow up with Liberta/Celia's [Absorb] to also succ up the hidden daily finds in a map.
For yet more materials dispatch to resource stages on days where Slime Island doesn't have a 2x 2x Rate-up bonus active.

The next major upgrade is UR Gear. Craft (and dismantle) N-grade Swords/Armor in bulk to quickly level up your crafter and unlock UR crafting. Don't forget to upgrade Fred's/Layla's skill with a skillbook every time their XP bar is full. The Ability Pills you need come from the event shops.

Once you have unlocked UR Crafting your goal is to get at least URIII and ideally URIV Venomous Touch (Accessory) > Weapon/Gloves, followed by double DEF or MRES Armors & Helmets as needed. Gear can be swapped, so with 4-6 Venomous Touch, 2 Staffs, 2 Swords and 2 Phys+2 Magic gloves you can already get very far.
Below are the most commonly crafted pieces; ones not shown here are situational (for specific characters or PvP):
Crafting

TIP: Try to get 3x Crit.DMG subrolls on your first few URIV Venomous Touch and double DEF/MRES Armors/Helmets!.
This allows these pieces to be used by any DPS, melee and mages alike, which will really help you out early on in Fiend Hunt.
If a boss does Physical damage your mages can equip those Crit.DMG DEF gears to survive its attacks and still do their damage!

Besides Crafting you can also acquire some good UR Gear through other means:

  • Bulk activate the codes on the BD2 Wiki Frontpage for a Free URIII Venomous Touch.
  • The MEGA newbie package ($4.29) comes with two full UR III sets.
  • Event Shop
  • Contract Wars Character Pack: Leave the Office through the left door and explore to find a helpful surprise.
Engraving/Potential/Costume Bonding

Engraving (essences+scrolls) is for end-endgame players who have finished everything else. Skip this for now.
For Potential (Costume->Upgrade), the regular priority is to focus on any skill nodes that reduce that skill's cooldown or SP cost for good costumes. Owned buffers first, good DPS own next. After that focus on skill range and % buff/vulnerability increases.
If you own a strong PvE hardcarry DPS like B.Loen or S.Justia, who are designed to sweep packs and hit harder the more units they hit, raise her first.

If you recently started and own Bunny Loen or S.Justia:

  1. Damage per Target & Skill Range+ on either of those units.

In all other cases/after that:

  1. -SP Cost on owned Buffers/Supports (B-Helena, Refi etc) before DPS.
  2. -Skill Cooldowns on units like Diana, Curse Celia, DJVenaka, Maid Lia etc.
  3. +Skill Range on units on Bride Refi, Diana, MCTeresse, Loen, S.Justia, Venaka, Maid Liatris
  4. +% (Self)-Buff Values on buffers like Liberta and B-Helena, Diana, and DPS like NH.Nebris
  5. +Vulnerability/Augmentation on those units: Track Levia, GRafina, WDVenaka, Y.Blade
  6. Damage (%) increments on good DPS.

What Costume do I Bond?
Elemental Damage+ in content where type matchups matter (Fiend Hunt/Guild Raids, or H/VH Packs and Tower stages you are stuck on).
In general PvE (and at endgame, and once your gear is really good) use whatever gives the most (M)ATK and CDMG. At endgame people use ATK/CDMG bonds stats over Elemental Damage in Diana teams for example.
Anything with purely Defensive stats (HP/DEF/MRES) and/or Crit Rate is for PvP.

Units, Banners & Pulling

Several good costumes can be recruited for free from the Pub/Newbie Pass, Welfare Missions, and Events like the monthly Character Pass.
For everything else it's gacha time.

BD2 has costume and gear banners. Costume banners are where it's at, as you can craft almost as good gear for completely free (~10% damage gap vs banner UREXs). Costumes can also be enhanced with dupes, gear cannot.
Costumes and gear banners have separate pity trackers. Pity carries over between banners. You can't get gear from costume banners and vice versa.

You get a free daily pull on every banner, and 10 pulls cashback the first 5 times you obtain the rate-up costume. Pity is 10 pulls for a random 4★, and 100 pulls for a 5★ (50/50 between the banner target or random 5★).
Every time you pull on a banner you also obtain a banner-specific Draw Point. 200 of these points exchange to the banner target (Hard Pity).
Unused draw points are collected after the banner ends and converted into a global currency you can exchange for costumes in the shop.

Q: PULL or SAVE?
Pull moderately, and PULL hard when good units are up (buffers/good DPS) or when you see a unit that you like.
May~June (Collab into anniversary) and December~January (half-anniversary/winter) are the most stacked months in the game. The game has lots of generous events around that time, but even so you want to start saving up at least a month in advance.

What Banners do I pull on?

The banners of girls you like the most, since that is what gacha games are about. Meta-wise buffers/supporters and Limited (Special) Units take priority; buffers/supporters don't just help your DPS in this game, they ENABLE them.
The game gives you a daily pull on every banner + ~300 free pulls every month as a f2p so it's not hard to get 1 copy of every newly released banner unit with casual play. This one copy is also enough to unlock her dating content (if any) and L2D+Cutscene for the Homescreen.

In short: Roll on units that you like, and try to +5 all buffers/support units you can. Long-term work your way up to have at least 2 good DPS per element (1x Physical 1x Magic). Most costumes give their -SP reduction at +1 so get at least that (2 copies).

Pulling Strategy & Limiteds

You get a free daily pull on every banner, so a popular strategy is pull to +3 and then wait to see what the free daily pulls give you.
On the final day of a banner you can then push that unit to +4 and optionally finish the costume (+5) with the Powder Shop copy afterwards.
This does not work for Limited units; these need to be brought to the desired dupe level while their banners are active.

SHOPS: What do I buy?

Event Shop

The UR gear piece is great for new accounts. It's a free +9, and its guaranteed SSS rolls puts it on par with a URIII+ piece in quality.
Especially UR Event Weapons, Gloves or Double Crit. DMG accessories will be massive boosts for your DPS units.

When buying UR Gear remember that you also need 27 gear tokens to fully upgrade it (=2700 event currency, so total 5700).
If you started too late to clean out the current shop (or if the UR is shit) follow the regular priority below:

  1. 3x Tears of Goddess → Ancient Crystals → Draw Tickets
  2. Newglutti growth materials (4★ Rank-Up Stars, Red Slimes, Gold) & Ability Pills as needed.
  3. Essences/Refining Crystals as needed
  4. Dump the rest into Refining Powders until the event ends. You'll thank me later.
    Event Shop

Powder Shop (Mileage)

This is where you can buy 1 copy of any non-limited costume that just concluded its run.
Most players stop pulling on (non-limited) units at +4 since the final copy doesn't give any tickets cashback. They then +5 her with this powder shop copy after.

  1. Whichever COSTUME(s) you like / are good. Nothing else. Prioritize buffers. When in doubt ask in /bd2g/.
    Powder Shop

Golden Colosseum Shop

This is a stacked shop with 2 guaranteed 5★ costumes per month (Elemental Tickets). Wind and Light are best due to the buffers and supporters present, Fire and Water the worst. This shop resets monthly, you obtain coins through weekly missions and rank rewards.
You get 100 Colosseum tickets per week, and can buy 300 more for 30 Dias. 10 wins per week in this mode ensures you can buy all the essentials.

  1. 2x 5★ Property Select Draw Ticket
  2. Ancient Crystals (Newgluttis) → Draw Tickets → Limited Gold/Powders/Elixirs.
  3. If you are into decorating your Chibi Avatar (Square), MyRoom or ID Card: this is one of the few place in the game to obtain Deco Coins.
    GCShop

Gold Thread Shop

You get Gold Threads every time you obtain a copy of a unit that is already +5.

  1. Monthly Selective Enhancement (1600).
The only guaranteed way to force a costume dupe outside of the 1pick banner. Typically used to elevate owned supports/buffers.
  2. The random costume (1600) may sometimes also be worth it, or be worth it even more in some cases. Ask in /bd2g/ if not sure.

Spenders can also go for the Tears, Property Draw Ticket, Draw Tickets or Powders.
GT Shop

Mirror Wars Shops (PvP)

  1. Monthly 5★ Costume (18000 tokens)
  2. Refining Powders (NOT crystals)

Get the costume if it is a good (ask in bd2g if not sure). If it is shit (or you don't need it), get the powders instead. Skip the rest.

18000 tokens seems steep, but there is a trick to it. Assemble an offense/defense team and let your 40 free runs play out manually the first time you do Mirror Wars after the weekly reset on Monday (rank-up Dias & more tokens). On all subsequent days you can then set the cocktail consumption to 40 and burn them all in a single one-tap dispatch.

If you want to compete for PVP rank, queue up (set it to 1 cocktail consumption and enable auto-skip) in the final 40minutes of the season, which is every Sunday (14:20-15:00 UTC).

Evil Castle Shop (Tower)

  1. 4★ Ability S. Books as needed. This is the only place in the game to get them.
  2. Monthly Essences & Scrolls as needed.
  3. Refining Powders > Gold

You get daily tokens based on your recorded score in the Tower of Pride. This comes from how many floors you cleared in total (max 6), and how many floors you perfect cleared after (=one-turn kill per battle, 1Mil+ damage reached with a single skill, all units at Full HP + playing by the floor's rules (eg 4 Fire units on F1)). You can look up guides on Youtube once you have the necessary units/gear to perfect clear ToP1-6.

Guild Shop

Buying out the essentials costs 8000 tokens. If you also want the Essences that will be 11.000.
You get tokens based on score thresholds you as a guild reach during the Guild Raid, and another batch of tokens based on your guild's rank after the season ends.

  1. Tear → Elixers → Draw Tickets (=8000 total)

If you are in a guild that prints a good amount of tokens:

  1. Essences
  2. Scrolls (if needed)
  3. Refining Powders or save for next month's items.
    Guild Shop

Pub Recruitment/Contracts

Recruitment Contracts are used to recruit a pool of 3-5★ costumes for free via the Pub system. The Newbie Pass gives you a lot of them, but outside of that they are a rare resource that only sporadically come from the (f2p) Battle Pass.

Most people trade their 3★ and 4★ Contracts into 5★ ones (Shop>Items) since you'll automatically max out your 3★ and 4★ units while pulling on banners anyway. If there's specific 5★ units you want clear out the 3★ characters in the pub to increase the chance of that 5★ appearing.

The important recruits (Diana, Liberta etc) are all fixed and show up in the pub of their story pack after you clear it, and stay there until you recruit them. They're not part of the rotation slots, so don't worry you'll miss them. Each pub costume can only be recruited once.

Q : Which Pub 5★ do I recruit first?

Outside of the fixed guests, the game cycles through all remaining Chance% guests. These change every 2h.

  1. Diana (Fixed/SP10 pub)
-Free daily gems or other important goodies like Rice via her dispatch ability.
  2. Olstein (Fixed/SP4 pub)
-Major gold generator for newgluttis via his dispatch ability. He can also cheese a lot of PvE content for you with his AoE Silence.
  3. Dark Saintess Liberta (Fixed/SP15 Pub)
-BIS Physical buffer. Heavy on dupes (needs +3 to replace Arines), so it's good to get started on her.
-Has Absorb for fast map clearing.
  4. Celia (Chance %)
-Map-wide absorb and a core chainer for endgame content/bosses.
  5. Liatris (Fixed/SP8 pub) / Venaka (Chance %)
-3x3 AoE. Somewhat lower priority due to the free welfare units, but still very good DPS to have. Especially Liatris (Top F1)

Other useful units include Apostle Blade (Fixed/SP15), Rou (Fixed/SP4) and Gluttonous Refi. The rest is whoever you like.

Try to keep a spare 5★ Contract on you after recruiting Diana.

That way if a new Story 5★ unit drops you can recruit her from the new pack & get 10 Draw Tickets during her banner.

The Select Draw Banners

There are a number of permanent banners in the game that allow players to quickly build their roster or force (dupes of) desired units.
Remember that every spook will pay itself back some day through its rerun banner, where you can cash in 10 tickets for every owned copy.

[Newgluttis] Recommend Select Draw

This is a prefixed pool of 12 costumes. You get 12 tickets from the Newbie Pass; 5 more are available from the $4.29 MEGA package.
This package is available for 3 days after your first login, and will not return once it expires.

RecommendSelect
Most guides will tell you to just max out (+5) B-Helena/H-Lathel and +4 Diana. You get 1 free copy of Diana from Story Pack 10, so with the $4.29 package you can max out exactly all 3 buffers.

Personally I think there is more merit in +5ing B-Helena and Diana (again, keep in mind you only need +4 Diana due to her free story copy), and then putting the remaining tickets to other units. H-Lathel is still pretty good, but is no longer near as mandatory as he once was. With all the great welfare mages that are available to you via the Event Missions you're bound to get more value out of a +2 or +4 Track Suit Levia.

If you've already got those, another solid option here is to get at least 1 copy of Zenith, G.Rafina, Glutton Refi and Loen each. WDVenaka is in the pub, but you can always grab this copy to inch closer to her maxed buff value (at +3). Seir/Ventana/Rubia are too niche and offer the least value here.
You can toss the units you can't get into the 12-pick select draw below, or raise them up over time with the monthly selector.

[Permanent] 12-pick Select Draw

The standard banner, this lets you slot in 12 costumes of choice. Every 5★ you obtain while pulling on this banner will be one of the selected 5★ units.
The one exception is the guaranteed 5★ on every 100th pull, which still has a 50% chance to be a random spook.

This is a great banner to build and slowly raise your roster over time, as it greatly reduces the chance of undesired spooks. Similar to the 1-pick draw it will use any owned purple tickets before it uses the more valuable red tickets or diamonds.

Keep in mind that the 12-pick does not have a hard pity system in place: draw points can only exchange to powders.
Toss the purple tickets you get at it as you obtain them, but only use red tickets sporadically (if you feel lucky).
The best way to obtain/elevate a unit will always be through its rerun banner or GT selector. Don't use the 12-pick to try and force +5 on a unit.

Tips:

  • Slot in buffers, supporters, at least 2 Carry DPS/Nukers, and aim for 1 copy (+0) on each Utility unit over time.
  • Diana and B-Helena have become free +5 costumes after the 2.0anni (Newbie Pass tickets) and have been excluded. Of course, you can slot them in if you used your Newbie Pass Tickets on other units. Keep in mind that you get 1 Diana from SP10.
  • Owning 1 copy of a costume will allow you to start elevating it with the monthly GT shop selector.
  • Some units like New Hire Nebris are heavy investments, as they can only truly shine if you own their other costumes at certain dupe levels. For new players, look to single-costume friendly alternatives such as Starlight Guardian Tyr.
  • Keep in mind that you get 1 copy of certain costumes for free from the pub, so units like Dark Saintess Liberta, Glutton Refi and SERafina can be removed at +4 and finished with the pub copy.
Type Recommended Costumes
Buffers Dark Saintess Liberta (+5), Onsen Liberta (+0 for LN, +5 for FH/GR), Bride Refi (+0 for LN, +5 for FH/GR) > Red Hat Rou/Medic Teresse (+4~5)/Shadow Bunny Eleaneer (+4~5)/Gluttonous Refi (+4~5)/H-Lathel (+2~5) > New Hire Seir
Supporters/Amplifiers Track Suit Levia (+4), Gamer Rafina (+4), Descendant Celia & Curse Celia (both +3), Wilhelmina (both +1 or +4), Zenith (both +3), Shadow Sonya (+4), Wind Dancer Venaka (+3), Young Lady Blade
Carry DPS/Nukers Starlight Tyr, Young Lady Blade, Beach Eclipse, Sacred Justia (+4), SERafina, Apostle Blade (reqs good buffers/RRH Rou), New Hire Nebris (reqs her other costumes at +3), Last Hope Loen, DJ Venaka, Liatris (Maid & Rodev), Luvencia (both), QoS Michaela, Pool Party Angelica
Utility Beach Vacation Morpeah (Tank/Battery/Reposition) >> Anti-Dystopia Diana, Top Idol Helena

[Limited] 1-Pick Select Draw

Simply put, this lets you to re-create a pickup banner for any past (non-limited unit) of choice. The selected unit gets the same (very slightly better) 1.5% rate as during her actual pick-up banner. The target girl can be swapped out any time, but you can only swap 10 times total.
In all other aspects it is a regular pick-up banner: you can get spooked by random units, but also have access to the 200 pulls (draw points) hard pity.

This banner is great for users who want to +5/max high value targets like Dark Saintess Liberta/Bride Refi, or really want a specific Fated Guest or unit. This banner only runs during the game's anniversaries, which also give out lots of purple tickets to use on this or the standard 12pick.
1PickDraw

[Limited] 12-Pick "Golden Hand" Select Draw

A paid version of the regular 12-pick select draw, this once-per-account banner guarantees 3 5★ costumes of the 12 you slot in for $17.
The 5★ costumes are randomly selected from the 12 you wishlisted, and you cannot reroll for a different outcome. It is available during the game's anniversaries.

[Limited] Special Infinite Draw

Special Draw
A paid version of the Infinite Reroll from the Tutorial, featuring every (non-limited) unit released before the current patch. It is available 1-2x per year.
There is no limit on the amount of rerolls you can do, and you can even quit midway to continue rolling another day.
You can get multiple 5★ in one 10-pull, so with enough patience you can roll for 3 good 5★ costumes for $17 - a true "Golden Hand".

Other FAQ

How many Pulls/5★ can I get per month?

A decently fresh F2P account generates upwards of ~300 free pulls per month (more during Annis). This excludes the daily free banner pulls.
Without spending a single ticket on a banner you are also guaranteed five 5★ costumes per month: 2x from Gold Colosseum, 1x from Tower of Salvation, 1x from the PvP Shop, and 1x from the monthly Character Pass, as well as 8 Tears of Goddess.

Is there any content that is unobtainable as a free player?

There are cosmetic-only paid skins that are obtainable through a gacha ($8~$60, or max $45 if you use JP Yen). These are released 4x per year: 2 in winter, 2 in summer). Everything else is freely obtainable.

I need more GOLD

Join a guild for the daily check-in (50.000), recruit Olstein (SP4) for his daily dispatch ability, improve your Last Night score, and get the limited golds from the event shop+other shops.
You can supplement this by activating Teresse's field ability and running into the daily monsters on battle maps while her skill is active. You can also sell materials you don't need (like food ingredients) to shops for gold.

Do I buy the Premium Pass (Battle Pass) for 1000 Dias?

Always. You can buy it with your Free Dias, and it yields ~16 pulls profit on top of the other goodies.
TIP: Buy it once you reached LV17. That way you'll finish the pass in one go and skip the increased EXP requirements.

What is the BEST VALUE if I want to casually spend or support the game?

Get the 3-day MEGA package ($4.29) even if you don't plan to spend ever. 5 5★ costumes, 100+ pulls, 2 gear sets, and over 6 months' worth of material farming. Only available for 3days after you start the game, and it won't rerun.
The next best options are the RENEW Special Dash Packages & Monthly Dia Packs Value per pack reference.

BD2 also has a Webshop with monthly weeks of free check-in goodies. The webshop specializes in larger packages (like the RENEW dash) + prestige skin tickets, and is interesting for users without a Google JP Payment Profile or a high GPlaystore Level.
The webshop region can be freely set to JP Yen, which is a lot cheaper (eg JP Yen prestige skin costs max $45 vs $60 normally). Keep in mind you may need to use a VPN set to Japan to complete checkout depending on the chosen payment option.

What are Good Units?

Buffers/Supporters and AoE Nukers are usually always save investments, as are the Summer and Winter Limiteds (June~Aug/Dec~Jan).

When are the Daily Resets?

Daily reset is 00:00 UTC. On patch days the servers go down for maintenance 10mins earlier (23:50 UTC).
All Ranked Content (Fiend Hunter, Guild Raids, PvP) closes earlier: 15:00 UTC on maintenance day (FH/GR), Sunday (PvP) and Wednesday (Golden Colosseum).

What do I spend my Property Draw Tickets on?

Wind/Light > Dark > Fire/Water. Fire/water have bloated pools with lots of mid units so gamba for Liberta at your own risk.

Can I buy an account?

You can, but with how many free pulls you make there is no point unless you really want a past collab unit or want to compete for rank. Just note that accounts that have illegally generated currency on them or used chargebacks DO get caught in sweeps periodically. Google also removes accounts they found to have violated their ToS, so if you buy one be smart about it.

How to get more Refining Powders?

Spend your rice on HG7VH dispatches (Lizardman Altar VH) and do search/absorb sweeps in the maps of SP 7,8,13,16 and 17 for Iron Ores.
Craft N Mercenary Swords/Phys.Armors in sets of 2000; then in the settings, set +6, max attempts/gold, and tick "auto dismantle". This gets you 18k powders for 406k gold/6k ores and the least amount of ability pills used.
You can also +6 and dismantle UR I/II equipments you got while crafting for URIVs if you have enough gold. This can get pretty expensive, so it shouldn't be your main source for powders.

What can I do with UREX dupes?

If you are into PvP you can keep a copy of Morpeah's and Granhildr's UREX for seperate rolls. In all other cases +6 gear dupes and dismantle.

What Refinement Grade do I aim for?

Any R18 Refinement (BBS) on URIV gear is a good budget stopping point. The priority is always Venom Touch (used by everyone) > Weapons/Gloves (phys/magic specific). Armors/Helmets don't need to be R18 unless you plan to PvP.

How to boost my Last Night score?

Obtain at least 1 copy of Bride Refi, Onsen Liberta, and Miko Granadair for massive damage gains. The rest is slotting in other buffers, chainers, and finally the best DPS you have at the end.
TIP: Use the free Nebris you get from the Newbie Pass and PoVLathel (free +2 from clearing SP7 on all 3 difficulties), make them go last in the load order. Besides that work on your Support Bonus: Crafting full SRIII +6 sets for every owned unit that isn't participating in the lineup of 20 is a good and cheap way to get lots of damage. Keep in mind gear rolls don't matter for support bonus, so just give them anything you get.

Why is the game named "Brown Dust"?

Koreans love to use cool sounding English names and terms for their games.
The idea was that it refers to the dust that is kicked up by armies marching to battle, but it played out a bit different.

I asked a question and now people are trying to lick me. Is this normal?
