THE SPINNING WHEEL
The windows in the suitcase often display strange views, within which, however, the lake and the broken spinning wheel always remain the same. Walk to the spinning wheel on the flowing water of time and spin it to summon arcanists

The Spinning Wheel is an enigmatic, arcane object, located within the Wilderness of the Suitcase. It is an object of unknown origin and has the appearance of a decrepit loom. It has 2-Dimensional threads connecting to it, and it is suspended in the rainwater of the Storm.
The Spinning Wheel is the object responsible for summoning characters in Reverse: 1999

• SUMMON BANNERS •
In Reverse: 1999, a Banner is a non-limited/limited time event, that introduces a specific catalogue or 'pool' of featured characters that enjoys an increased summon rate.
There are three (3) categories of summon banners:

PERMANENT BANNERS
The Permanent Banner in Reverse: 1999, is a [Permanent Character Banner]. Its summon guarantee is calculated independently and is not shared with other banners.
[In Reverse: 1999, '[Permanent Character Banner]' is/are a type of banner that hosts a a permanent catalogue or pool of summonable characters. Its summon guarantee is calculated independently and is not shared with other banners.]
Summonable from [Time-limited Character Banner] type banners are added to the permanent pool/catalogue of summonable characters, three (3) updates after their initial release.
Eg. Melania was introduced in version 1.1, and was later added to the permanent pool in version 1.4
In this banner, every 10 summons guarantees at least 1 4-star or higher.
Generally, the basic rate applies to all characters. Under certain circumstances, such as Rate Up or Guarantee, please refer to the specific rules.
TIME-LIMITED BANNERS
LIMITED BANNERS
(Not to be confused with the 'limited' in the context of limited timeframe/duration, this banner hosts an 'exclusive' pool of 'special characters' that can only be obtained on these types of banners)

EVENT BANNERS
Time-Limited Event Banners are [Time-limited Character Banner] with rate-up characters which change periodically, and shares the guarantee count with similar banners of. In this banner, the rates of summoning 6-star character (x), and 5-star characters (y,z) will increase significantly.
In this banner, every 10 summons guarantees at least 1 4-star or higher.
Generally, the basic rate applies to all characters. Under certain circumstances, such as Rate Up or Guarantee, please refer to the specific rules.

In the banners (Permanent, Event, Limited Banners), if you have not obtained a 6✦ character, after sixty (60) consecutive summons, the Basic Summoning Rate of 6 ✦ characters (1.5%) will increase to 4%, in the next summon, after the sixty (60) summon threshold.
If after the Basic Summoning Rate for 6 ✦ characters has been adjusted (4%), and you have not obtained a 6 ✦ character, every summon that doesn't grant a 6 ✦ character will further increase the rate by 2.5%.
Every 70 summons guarantees one (1) 6✦ character.
After obtaining a 6 ✦ character, the Basic Summoning for 6 ✦ characters, will be reset to 1.5%.

These are the Summoning Rates for all character rarities on Banners (Unless, stated otherwise):
Basic Summoning Rate of 6 ✦ characters: 1.5% | Overall Rate (Including Guarantee): 2.36%
Basic Summoning Rate of 5 ✦ characters: 8.5%
Basic Summoning Rate of 4 ✦ characters: 40%
Basic Summoning Rate of 3 ✦ characters: 45%

DUPLICATES / PORTRAYS:
Irrespective of the source of obtainment (Including, but not Limited to: Banners, Bank and System Gifts) obtaining a character, after having initially obtained them, gives a duplicate of the respective character, called an 'Artifice' .
The 'Artifice' can then be used to activate the 'Portray' of the respective character/s (if not already at the Maximum Portray Limit).
A Portray system is the duplicate character system. Characters portray is a series of five (5) sequential upgrades, received when receiving a duplicate of a character after having initially summoned/ received them. They add, increase and augment the arcane skills and abilites of a the respective character.
All characters have a Maximum Portray Limit of five (5) (after initial summoning of the respective character).
(This applicable to all characters, irrespective of rarity).

When obtaining duplicates of characters, you receive the characters' respective 'Artifice' (if not at Maximum Portray Limit), and currency tokens called, 'Album of The Lost'
and 'Track of The Lost'
.
(The Character's Rarity affects the Type of token you obtain, and the Amount of which you receive. The characters Portray Limit status, also factors into the distribution amount you receive).
