• THE STORM •
Its arrival dissolved time — what should have been the present became the past, what was once the future became the present. Something came to an end, while some were reborn
The Storm, sometimes referred to as the 'Emanation', is an enigmatic, meteorological phenomena of unknown origin.
The phenomenon initially manifested on the 31st of December 1999, at 23:59 P.M. At the turn of the Millenium, its cataclysmic ramifications unfolded, culminating in substantial setbacks for organizations, advancements, and technological endeavours.
The subsequent manifestations of the phenomena, led to the epithet of the 'Storm' being given to it, due to the characteristics and properties of its materialisation.
ㅤ
The phenomenon materialises within a 24-hour timeframe, by which it reaches its culmination through a sequence of events:
- Onset - Rain Inversion
The storm's onset is heralded by the inversion of rain. - Storm Syndrome
An assortment of afflictions acquired due to exposure within the phenomena's area of coverage. The proximity to the storm's epicentre, affects the severity of the storm syndrome. - Coda - Era Reversal
At the end of the 24hr period, the storm 'concludes' with a destructive rain, that reduces

This is a place where gold and oil are forced down people's throats, and the bacchanals dance and sing on the burning floor. The sick hardly recognize sickness, as you may see in many other times
[In the world of Reverse: 1999, the 'Storm Syndrome' is categorised as a myriad of conditions and symptoms, brought on for the helding of an upcoming storm.
