If you try doing this offer as a F2P or low spender, it might take weeks or even months to complete, and your maximum potential gem rewards will be significantly reduced.
Step 1
- Accept the Mistplay offer on the Tapjoy offerwall.
- Install Mistplay when prompted (you should be taken to the Google Play Store).
- In order to earn rewards from this offer, you must finish the associated tasks within 60 days.
- You do not have to complete all of the tasks. Instead, you will be rewarded in Daphne for each task as soon as you complete it.
If you've ever installed Mistplay before, you may not be able to complete tasks or get rewards.
To complete offer tasks, you may need to make task progress with the same device you originally accepted the offer on.
If you currently have macro/autoclicker apps on your phone, Mistplay might ban you.
Delete them first and you will be fine.
Do not install Mistplay in a way other than how you are prompted to.
Attempting to use an alternate installation method may permanently lock you out of being able to engage with the offer.
Step 2
- Play games installed through Mistplay until you hit Mistplay player level 10. This will complete the top section of the offer tasks (the player level tasks) and you will earn all the associated rewards in Daphne.
- Playtime in games is converted to GXP (game experience points) and reaching game checkpoints with GXP gives PXP (player experience points), which you need to hit Mistplay player level 10.
You do NOT have to make progress in the games you play.
You can play inefficiently or aimlessly move/tap around. But if you leave the game idle for too long you will stop earning GXP.
You can play each Mistplay game for up to 2 hours every day.
After that, you will be unable to earn GXP by playing that game until the next day.
A game's unit and Mistplay gem acquisition rates do not seem to correlate with a game's GXP acquisition rate, GXP requirements per checkpoint, or PXP earnings from checkpoints.
You will have to test games to find out how much PXP they give you per checkpoint reached.
Your PXP gains and requirements may differ from mine.
The total PXP I needed in order to reach Mistplay player level 10 was 24,600.

Step 3 (Optional)
- Spend 100 dollars in the game with the best real money to Mistplay gem conversion rate you see. This will complete the bottom section of the offer tasks (the payment tasks) and you will earn all the associated rewards in Daphne.
You will only see the best dollar to Mistplay gem conversion rates when first installing Mistplay.
Once they expire after a few days, you will never see dollar to Mistplay gem conversion rates that good ever again.
This is unconfirmed, but has been true for me so far.
Make a very small purchase first and reach Platinum account status.
A small purchase tests to see if Mistplay gems are properly awarded, and it will also give you Platinum account status.
Platinum account status increases both Mistplay gem and GXP acquisition for a limited time. The increased GXP acquisition rate can help you reach game checkpoints faster.
- For reference, here is exactly what I did:
- I spent 10 dollars on a game that rewarded 8 Mistplay gems per 1 dollar spent, which gave me 80 Mistplay gems as well as Mistplay Platinum status. Reaching Platinum status increased my Mistplay gem acquisition rate by 50%.
- Then I spent 90 more dollars on that same game. This gave me a shitload of Mistplay gems and a huge boost to my earned GXP, which let me reach game checkpoints way faster, increasing the rate at which I earned PXP.
- Spending 100 dollars total also completed all of the payment tasks in the offerwall offer back in Daphne.
- After that, I played a handful of games for a few hours each day until I hit Mistplay player level 10, which completed all of the Mistplay player level tasks in the offerwall offer back in Daphne.

Total Mistplay gems acquired may influence the GXP boost from Mistplay Platinum Status
If you acquire fewer Mistplay gems or spend less than 100 dollars, your extra GXP from Platinum status may be much lower than my 567% boost.
Reaching game checkpoints may take much longer without this boost.
Mistplay support clarifies that "This percentage may vary and is subject to change."
Step 4
- When you are done with Mistplay, convert any Mistplay gems to units, and spend those units on gift cards.
- You will have to sign in with a Google account to order gift cards.
- You may also be required to share your device location with Mistplay before being allowed to order.
To order certain gift card values, you will need to increase your Mistplay account loyalty status.
Gift card orders can take 48 hours or more to process.
When making a gift card order, you may be required to take a selfie video to verify your identity.
I was able to order both of my gift cards without any kind of identity verification, so this might be a bongland exclusive requirement.
- With the 100 dollars I spent (See Step 3), I was able to earn enough Mistplay gems and units to order 65 dollars worth of gift cards.
- The orders took a little over 48 hours to process for me. I had no problems receiving the emails or redeeming the codes afterword.

How do I access the Tapjoy offerwall?

Mobile only.
When I try to access the offerwall, I get an error that says I'm not old enough. What do I do?
Send an inquiry to JD and tell them that you're an adult, but the game thinks you're a minor. They'll fix your account eventually.
What games should I play with Mistplay?
Just pick whatever you find gives the best PXP per checkpoint or whatever you're interested in.
However, if you plan to buy packs in other games to get cheap gems in Daphne through offerwall offer rewards, know that installing a game in Mistplay may make you ineligible for that game's offerwall offers in Daphne. Therefore, games like Raid Shadow Legends, State of Survival, and Frost & Flame, which have offerwall offers in Daphne with the potential to reward high amounts of gems when spending money in those games, are examples of Mistplay games to avoid.
Do I need to spend money to finish this? If so, how much do I have to spend?
If you want all 90k gems listed in the Mistplay offerwall offer, you have to spend 100 dollars to complete the paypig offer tasks.
However, if you only want to have an easier time finishing the player level tasks, spending a small amount of money to reach Mistplay Platinum status might be sufficient. That's because Platinum status gives a boost to GXP earned, which will make gaining PXP take much less time. See Step 3.
It's not strictly necessary to earn rewards, but you will probably be playing these Mistplay games for way longer without it.

How long does this take? And is it easy or difficult to do?
Completing this offer can take anywhere between a few days or a few months, depending on how often you play and the extra GXP boost from your Mistplay account loyalty status. You can gain GXP in multiple games at once to complete the offer faster.
I finished in under a week and it was very easy, but I followed Step 3.
I did what the offerwall offer tasks told me to, but the task didn't check itself off and I didn't get any rewards!
As said in Step 1, you may be unable to complete these tasks if you've previously installed Mistplay before taking the offer, or if you've changed devices since taking the offer.

Additionally, know that uninstalling and re-installing a game may cause future purchases in that game to no longer reward Mistplay gems.
I can't find the Mistplay offer on the Tapjoy offerwall. Where is it?
Either JD took it down because the gem rewards were too high and too easy to get, or it's not available in your region.

I guess JD nerfed the rewards. Or maybe the total gem rewards vary by region.
Can I use an emulator to take the offer and complete tasks?
Doesn't seem like it. An anon tried to use one and it locked him out of the offer both in the emulator and on his IRL android device.
When prompted to install Mistplay, I am being told "your device isn't compatible with this version". What do I do?
Give up or maybe try a different device. As mentioned in Step 1, if you attempt to install Mistplay in a different way from how you were prompted to do so, you may be permanently disqualified from the offer.
Can I use a VPN to gain access to Tapjoy offerwall offers that are normally not available in my region?
Probably not. Tapjoy will disqualify you from gaining rewards for tasks if it detects you are using a VPN. You may even be permanently banned from the Tapjoy offerwall within Daphne.
Do I have to do the Mistplay Daily Tasks, Buddy Quests, or Invite Friends?
No, I ignored all that shit because I'm lazy. But if you want to squeeze out some extra units to get more gift cards, go for it.

I heard Tapjoy can give your phone malware. Is that true?
If you click on the scammy surveys and other shitty offers like that, yes, you might get malware. Don't do that.
Can I get even more gems from this?
Sometimes Tapjoy has limited time double reward campaigns. They apparently happen on holidays. You have to accept the offer during that campaign to get the doubled rewards. Starting the offer before or after won't count.
I was banned from Mistplay and I don't know why.
As mentioned in Step 1, you may be banned if Mistplay detects macro or autoclicker apps on your phone.
If that wasn't the problem, maybe they thought your activity was suspicious, or you violated some part of their Terms of Use.
Why would you do this instead of just getting a second job to pay for gems?
It was fun, and it gave me a brief look into the horrifying world of normgroid mobile games, which made me appreciate Daphne a bit more.
Why would you do this Mistplay offer instead of other offerwall offers?
Completing most offerwall offers usually requires making nigh impossible amounts of game progress within inappropriately short time limits.
Doing so can involve weeks of engaging in intense manual play, while spending huge amounts of real money (multiple hundreds or even thousands of dollars) in specific and strategic ways to maximize progression speed.
This Mistplay offer is extremely low effort and inexpensive by comparison.
