Rentry has been around since 2018, so naturally a lot of urls are taken! but some were left with "hi" forever and were never decorated!
But don't worry, if a url is has not been edited in over a year you can claim it regardless of contents! Using https://rentry.co/request-url, giving a valid reason and ur email. in usually around 2 days you'll get an email w a code to the url and it's all yours!
There is an exception with url claiming, when you claim a url you've offically "reclaimed" it.
if a reclaimed url is not used / doesnt have genuine content in it more than 3 months after you claimed it, people can claim it from you!
This only applies to urls that have been reclaimed so look for urls that are from 2020-2023 and have been edited recently (but obviously more than three months ago) that arent decorated! Also a good reminder to use the urls you claim!
As lonf as you have a valid intro on your url, it mostly likely wont get reclaimed. The criteria is "content that took more than 30 seconds to create" so as long yours does you should be ok :)
If your url ever gets unrightfully reclaimed make sure to leave your secret email adress in metadata (SECRET_VERIFY = Social Media: @Enter or SECRET_EMAIL_ADDRESS = Text@gmail.com. Dont worry once you enter this, rentry hides the Og email entered from viewers even if they click edit!) and appeal / email rentry
