Notes
As a reminder if you want to see a card completely, visit https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/cardlist/ with a translate add-on or utility, can copy the card text and paste it to google translate or DeepL. Also as extra utility, here's the link to the avatar abilities if you're curious, remember to have a translator on standby if you're not fluent in Japanese, https://www.carddass.com/dbh/sdbh_ugm/play/avatar_ability.php And Dimps-sama, if you are reading this, pls WM2, I get to make 50 decks in 36 hours, you get a tax right-off if it bombs if that's how it works in Japan, and your devs can have a simple dev cycle that shouldn't be too painful, everyone wins. H1 -> MM6, let it happen. Also if you wish to buy SDBH cards, good luck with your native customs, https://jp.mercari.com/ is way to look up SDBH cards to personally own them, note its best to search with the card number (UGM6-055 for UGM6-055 Vegeta (Xeno) as an example), and that if you try to go for big name cards like UGM7-SEC3 Goku Black, it can go into hundreds of dollars but other cards are relatively cheap.
2 Months Before the Final Day
The other SECs are known for MM5, here's to hoping that MM6 will end on a high note as all of MM5 is laid bare.

Vegeta.........
Card | Why |
---|---|
MM5-SEC2 Vegeta | At the PLBP if allies have less than 1x DMG multiplication, it'll be quadrupled and then if he wins an attack CI, the enemy co-op group takes 2x DMG, increased the less damage he deals. This is mid, most instances of this will be a hellfire meaning you're multiplying .1x by 4, which goes to .4x which is less than what MM5-022 Vegeta does without any of his utility, the best case for this, and what we're leaning on, is mixing him with DMG multiplication since that'll be the way to hit numbers where if multiplied by 4, it's greater than 1x. The negative DMG reduction is comedic, CI win, on a man with 9.9k PWR and a nuke of a super attack. The last thing he has is a 5 HE unit with Goku/Frieza (Revived) that limits the enemy's PWR LV to 2k and seals their revive chance for the round. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) | The goal of the deck is simple, hit hard and fast. This helps a lot with that and is a unit member for Vegeta, enabling both the unit and the team. |
MM5-020 Goku | This card does two main things. First at the start of the round he doubles the DMG/PWR LV of all allies with less PWR and himself, then upon winning the PLBP your team receives 50% less DMG and 3x PWR for the round, further increasing the DMG of the team alongside DMG mitigation. This helps give Vegeta an actual use case to make him good and not worse than MM5-022 Vegeta and also gives the deck more raw oomph. |
UGM8-068 Shallot | This covers our STA R1 and also helps with winning the CI for Vegeta and having a harder sting since you practically stun the card and he hits hard himself. |
UGM10-025 Krillin | Targeted PWR generation to help extend Goku's reach for his boosting, the STA generation could be nice for R2 since Frieza (Revived) will mostly subsidize our STA needs R3 onwards. Nothing else on the card matters |
MM4-SEC Vegito / HGD9-44 Future Trunks | Goal is R1 stun to help us go first, MM4-SEC Vegito can work with Goku to help boost him faster than Krillin and give a ton of speed as long as you have a BS/HR HA so that you can increase Goku's threshold even if it may take some time to boost and work better if MM5-SEC3 Gogeta and MM5-022 Vegeta become more meta and have the standard stun utilities put in the back pocket. |
HA | For HAs, the main ones to consider are the BS Kai for more speed and CI disruption or BS GoD, SS4LB for raw damage. Just note if going with MM4-SEC Vegito, you want this to be a BS or HR just so that Vegito will be boosting people that Goku was kind of doomed to not boost, if this is an EL then Vegito might boost himself and thus be out of reach for Goku to boost when his climax could make him a good boost target. |
So Vegeta's ass, complete ass, but I was able to get something that worked with him. His unit has great members and is nice peace of mind when you use it, the deck is fast as fuck thanks to PWR LV spam and Frieza (Revived), and is relying on Goku to be enough to not die until the time comes to drop Vegeta's unit to kill, or if uninhibited, fucking annihilate them with 7 nuclear-powered hammers. Either you were looking like Chernobyl, or they were, the goal of the deck anyway. There are ways to build around the concept but I feel like without native DMG multiplication somewhere on the team, SEC Vegeta is outdone completely by his UR.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
BM9-016 Demon King Piccolo / BM11-SEC3 Goku | Both of these are the only cards that I know that lower their own native DMG multiplication even if it'll take R3 for Vegeta to notice if things go right, Goku works as a R1 stun as well which can help with the deck's defense. |
UGM4-054 Yamcha | Not only boosted by Goku but has a unit that goes really nice with Vegeta's unit, UGM5-023 Trunks is similar but comes with the adage of being another PWR LV Limiter unit instead of disruption more tailored to go against MM1 Ozotto. |
Other stuns | ABS-22 Piccolo, MM3-044 Janemba, and the various cards that have Icy Gaze/Killer Instinct/Super Scientist's Smarts can help stall the enemy's HE to stop them while also being within Goku's PWR threshold to be boosted, even extending to their giant form. BM3-069 Salsa can be useful as a way to help with the later rounds if fearing PWR LV multiplication while UM8-045 Poutine, UGM1-SEC Aeos, and MM1-065 Laggs all help with fixed PWR LV in their own ways, Laggs being useful if wanting to go with a HA-less variant of the deck. |
UGM10-023 Goku | Allows more freedom of the deck while going with the same idea, 4x DMG/PWR LV on R1 is really fast and lets him go hard, MM4-049 Future Trunks was also considered for this reason for the deck, something like Future Trunks with Mai and MM3-071 Goku so that you can force a round to go by while having Future Trunks get boosted. |
Another Gogeta Trying to be Hype
Card | Why |
---|---|
MM5-SEC3 Gogeta | First he has a 10k PWR LV climax that has him go from SS2 through SS4, on SS4 he fires a "Final Shine Kamehameha", I fucking love Super Dragon Ball Heroes, and gains 4x PWR/PWR LV. This is alright but the main allure is his ability, which is modular based on whether you have 10k+ PWR LV or less than 10k PWR LV. At 10k+ PWR LV he gets 4x DMG. The effects are all nice but have some hiccups, the DMG reduction's great but you need retargeting, and since it's PLBP, Robel time and bad MM3-071 Goku matchup R1, even if a chunk of his damage is more on the fixed side. 4x PWR/DMG/PWR LV is just fine by R2 but is also easy to get, have 10k+ PWR LV lmao, and then there's the PWR setting for the round. This is strong even if niche because it's a common niche. Think of all the HGD9-44 Future Trunks, PWR LV Limiter apps, even UGM10-067 Gamma 2 that's been popping up from time to time, this is a hard punish for deck using them and could force them to different things as you can register him late enough to be post Frieza (Revived) meaning they're working with 1k PWR which is much easier to handle than whatever fucking cursed numbers he gets up to. |
MM4-022 Adult Trunks | So we're going hard into the 'limit our PWR LV' angle since of the huge defensive aspect, it's like getting half a UGM5-017 Goku, sure it's not stopping CAA/TAAs but if you really want, you can have other cards to handle it. This card makes it where at the PLBP, your team gains PWR/GRD equal to your PWR LV limit for the round (which can be exploited R2 if Gogeta didn't hit SS4 since he's quadrupling his PWR post Trunks 10k PWR boost, the deck has Ozotto but he's later) and reduces enemy HE by 3, now normally this would be something you'd rely the opponent to handle but with his unit, 3 HE to set both team's PWR LV to 12k, you can do it as well, letting the deck confidently be able to go rounds 2 and 3 with fixed PWR LV to really stall the game out. |
BM4-043 Vegeta | This is to help us against UM8 Fin if he starts rising up while also giving your 50% DMG reduction for R1, meaning you may not die and have the chance to go into R2 onward even if the enemy doesn't have Future Trunks, at which point you can go fast to generate some mean PWR for Vegeta. Simply put, nice defensive pivot and power in a round where we can't guarantee we'll have fixed PWR LV. This is a decently flexible slot if you are in HGD9-44 Future Trunks central since the main utility of the card, being defensive utility R1, isn't important since Gogeta will be more than good for that, the deck could use some HE generation to help with units and super attacks or even speed, MM3-SEC as a unit member sounds gross but UGM3-045 Vegeta could have value as DMG reduction pierce for the team. |
MM5-050 Goku | Supremely flexible slot here. I picked MM5-050 for a better MM3-071 Goku matchup since R1 you can have this and a few cards as attackers (or even just make this lone attacker?) to hurt the enemy but also have a ton of GRD so he can't hurt you and if you can proc his PWR LV/STA halving, than the enemy has their work cut out on having any form of speed and the keysword lock can help stop stun effects if you can win the CI but this is far, far from the only option for this slot. Speed/STA generation? BM11-SEC2 Goku considering we have at least 3 other HRs and the 7th slot could be a utility Goku (Xeno) card, BM12-SEC/PUMS13-SEC are also options if okay with having to play with low STA at first (or maybe make use of MM3-SEC4 Super Buu in place of Robel and focus on making Gogeta hit hard). BM5-027 Goku is also for consideration with his block burst, STA/GRD generation when an attacker and even some CI disruption when a supporter. Tech? UGM3-SEC2 Goku can be goku for when you need the unit and then be Jiren when you need some extra speed and possibly seal enemy fixed DMG with the possibility to generate HE which the deck could use considering it's mostly slow on the PWR LV front. There might even be a world where you use MM5-SEC Goku as STA/PWR generation for the team when paired with UGM1-061 Warrior in Black. This is just personal preference and I think the card's cool for the deck even if it does make the 7th slot the dedicated STA slut. |
BM6-062 Demon Goddess Robel | Retargeting to make the most of Gogeta when we're playing slow, sadly Gogeta gains the 70% DMG reduction but forgot the retargeting aspect at home, if it's un-needed, don't be afraid to have Robel as an attacker, this is probably one of the few decks where she has the most flexibility, not being glued to the support area at all costs. |
MM1-066 Ozotto | Not only a strong fucking stun effect but also limits our PWR LV R2 to guarantee a proc for Gogeta, meaning not only is the enemy not being fast with little STA and halved PWR LV, they also don't get a lot of PWR to work with while 10k is the exact number to allow Gogeta the choice of 4k DMG if you want him to hit hard. This lets you preserve Trunks' unit for R3. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) / MM4-SEC Vegito / UGM9-059 Warrior in Black / HA | Two words, STA GENERATION, we have dick on that and this slot needs to do that reliably. Warrior in Black is a great option since the STA DMG resistance is important for Robel and Gogeta if playing slow but you can have any number of cards for the slot, MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) and Vegito play better against MM3-071 Goku, the HA gives you a ton of HP to be defensive with (and the fixed PWR LV from BS Kai helps us play under our limits even on low STA generation), PUMS14-SEC Goku (GT) helps with STA and GRD restoration, etc. Picked PUMS14-SEC Goku (GT) since he works early enough to go against MM3-071 Goku but otherwise I'd go with UGM9 Warrior in Black if you don't fear him or MM1 Ozotto that much. |
And he succeeds with flying colors, fucking Final Shine Kamehameha, it's real, fuck yes, all my yes, my kingdom of yes. Now as a card, while the rewards and effects aren't interesting in of themselves but the fact you have control of them mostly does make it interesting. He's very much an anti-meta card, and unlike Vegeta, one that actually works and bites when the meta comes at him instead of whimpering with puppy-dog eyes. Also the deck gives me huge UM12-SEC Gogeta (UM) vibes where that was a deck that wanted to play slow but here we can also play fast. The main hiccup of the deck, as it is, could be getting to Trunks' unit while making sure we can hit hard under it, thankfully the Goku/Vegeta slots are flexible in case that is an issue in games and UM8 Fin vanishes from existence.
Yup, Fusions are Cool
Card | Why |
---|---|
MM5-SEC3 Gogeta | Pretty much the same reason as before but with it being much simpler on deciding whether we hit hard or are defense, are we limited to less than 10k PWR LV? If we're limited, than you can have Gogeta as a lone attacker since the DMG reduction and PWR setting should be good enough to not die for the round and go faster than speed of sound later. |
BM3-059 Vegeta | Linked ally gets 10k PWR/PWR LV (no HE sadly) per bar that vegeta has to a maximum of 30k, also comes with STA DMG resistance to prevent easy stuns, his link is being plugged into Gogeta to make him hit really hard when he gets the 4x PWR/DMG from his climax and ability while making sure we can go first if unimpeded, truly a dire state for the enemy to either have to limit our PWR LV with an app, doing no damage for the round, or be outsped when we're a deck that's not fucking around. |
MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) / MM4-SEC Vegito | The option is simple, do you want PWR and STA for everyone or do you want it for the few? Frieza (Revived) is probably the better option since we can go ham with Vegeta's fixed PWR LV and even splash MM3-070 Broly (BR) to get an extra instance of 30k fixed PWR LV but I'm going with Vegito because he's too fucking cool. And the fact his climax is delayed isn't that bad because he scales better the later his climax is, he deals 2.5x(x is round number) damage meaning he can go 5x minimum after Gogeta got his 4x PWR/PWR LV boost and you have Final Shine Kamehameha. Vegito also helps with general speed, since he gives PWR LV multiplication alongside the STA just note it may be wasted at first since it'll be going to Vegeta so he can give Gogeta the PWR/PWR LV boost. There's also the extra PWR/GRD generation for the team which isn't half bad. |
MM3-070 Broly (BR) | So order matters here and this is for a Vegito centered deck like this, you can get 30k PWR LV from this card on R1 by making sure your apps give you 1k PWR LV and making sure this card is registered before MM4-SEC Vegito (Vegito will boost Vegeta, hopefully Gogeta, and then Broly (BR), 3x * 10k = 30k). Which is just disgusting to consider since with Vegeta we have a whopping 60k fixed PWR LV the enemy will have to eat through if they ever want to go first. |
UM5-067 Paragus (BR) | When a supporter he gives the team a bar of STA and 3 HE if you have a Broly (BR) as an attacker. Perfect since a lot of our PWR LV is fixed and doesn't equal to PWR LV, and if we are limited than we aren't generating that much HE, meaning now we have a method to have some HE to help with Vegito's PWR/GRD generation as he does that even when a supporter and it does influence the whole team, attacker and supporter. |
BM8-SEC Gogeta (BM) | Flex slot, the one thing is that for the sake Vegito, we don't want another BS, this can be a BS if you have an EL HA, to not get in the way of Vegito boosting both Broly (BR) and Vegeta for the 60k fixed PWR LV by registering before those two. So there is a world where this could be MM3-052 Frieza (Revived) as we have 60k fixed PWR LV, that's 100k+ PWR on R2 if not limited ignoring the everything else on the team. For the sake of the slot I brought in BM8-SEC as GRD pierce and CI disruption for our 4-5 HR attackers, he also doubles his PWR LV and even your team's HE (which you can order him to be after Paragus meaning he is 6 HE for free), but here so that your co-op group's more able to win CI and nuke the opponent off the universe. |
HA | Here for the HP and take your pick on needs, main thing is that if they're an EL, registration matters for the 3rd card Vegito will boost R1, otherwise they'll be the first on his radar since a HA needs to be registered first. BS Kai is extra speed, SS4LB Note/Beat are options for damage, HR android for extra PWR theft and CI disruption while Kais in general can be a hellfire tech alongside CI disruption, etc. |
A little taste of Fusion Spam 3.0 here but the inspiration clicked, this deck really is a 'try me' where the opponent either explodes or their missiles turn to darts against a dirigible of despair. Gogeta clears the cool mechanics and spice wise and I almost want to say the good ending is he does nothing just so I can spam shenanigans with more and punish fools relying on an app or Princess Trunks to save their sorry hide, even have a Broly for the future timeline to bewed, was quite the euphoria when after writing and looking over Paragus (BR), I had a 6th card slot to use and had to rewrite the HA slot since that originally held the type math for Vegito.
Alternative Cards
Card | Why |
---|---|
UGM7-SEC3 Goku Black | Why not steal half the enemy's PWR before setting them to 1k or punishing them for having an attacker Goku by stealing HE? Main issue is regrettably reliability and not giving much else to the team. |
UGM10-056 SKoT/Aeos | More balanced approach to defense on Goku, also gives the team some extra STA to play with which can be useful when trying to explode with high PWR LV and Aeos can be a mean card reducing their DMG dealt while also increasing their CI speed and sealing miracle perfects. |
UGM5-062 Cell / UM12-SEC2 Dark King Mechikabura / UGM2-SEC3 Cell | So the goal of the team is 'try me', where you go guns blazing and dare the enemy to have Future Trunks/PWR LV Limiter App so Gogeta can null damage. If they have BM3-069 Salsa? Alright they're good and you get shot in the chest but what's the chance of that? So Cell halves enemy STA R1 and normalizes their PWR LV multiplication for the round which can make them much slower than intended, if you want a more defensive bent, Dark King Mechikabura halves enemy STA/fixed DMG at the start of the battle which can help with not dying. |
MM4-046 Goku | And when they try you, this could send them back to hell as the enemy has no PWR/DMG, you get no HE to super charge Vegito the round after, and the enemy gets sealed for 2 rounds, bonus points if you're able to go first even when the opponent tries to since you can seal a lot of attack triggers, sadly too slow for transformations. The main reason he did get chopped off is that this deck is fast enough to probably require the enemy to either be as greedy as you or PWR LV Limiter you, meaning Gogeta can cover a lot of defense. Great pair with PUMS14-02 Vegito as they either play slow, only dealing half damage while losing 2 HE a round or get to deal with this card. |
UGM2-066 Gamma 1 | Regrettably Vegito and Broly (BR) are ki-blast HRs but Gogeta is a Strike-based one so you could try a variant of the deck with this and MM3-052 Frieza (Revived). |
Other Fusions for consideration against BM8-SEC Gogeta (BM) | MM3-SEC2 Gogeta (BR), either they limit us and their PWR's set to 1k or we win and they get 1 PWR + no fixed DMG, seems like a fair situation to me. UGM8-SEC Vegito/Gogeta (Xeno) because "Fuck it", a HR that gives you an extra attack CI and either is hard to make weak or has top 3 super attack in the entire game. For Blue Vegito enjoyers, UGM9-SEC2 comes to help us in the CI department while Gotenks is a surprise tool if all goes to shit while MM4-062 is Zamasu but blue and red instead of purple. MM4-SEC5 with a EL HA is also a very good candidate because GRD/DMG reduction pierce when we hit this hard sounds fun, the ABS-18 / ABS-23 Vegitos are really strong either for R1 pressure or for defense. ABS-28 Gogeta and ABS-17 Gogeta (BR) both have their own ways about handling enemy GRD/DMG reduction, and for peak comedy, with all the focus on limited PWR LV, PUMS13-09 Gogeta (GT) will commonly give your team 2x DMG for the round. |
