Rules  

1. Adults Only: Minors will be removed for their own safety. This community is marked NSFW for a reason.

   • we know minors do drugs
   • we aren't judging minors who do drugs
   • we don't want adults to be talking to minors assuming them to be adults
   • we don't want adults talking to minors and taking advantage of them intentionally

2. Be kind and respectful: This is a judgement free zone no matter what drugs you do.

   • judgmental comments and troll comments are subject to immediate BAN from the community. we do not believe these views to be changed by the user simply getting in trouble, and we do not want that vibe here.

3. Stay on topic: Posts should be about drugs. More examples here.

   • this means no "looking for plug in x location?"
   • this means no donation posts - put it on your main tl
   • this means no random spam posts, obviously
   • drug spam is completely fine and encouraged
   • the mod writing this is high on meth at this moment and is with you completely

4. Safety First: Encourage harm reduction, don't encourage dangerous practices.

   • don't convince someone to try a dangerous drug they've never had. DO give advice on harm reduction if the user is already using or intent on using
   • should be obvious in but saying a drug is very dangerous and should be treated with caution is contextually and tonally different from judgment. keep talking about danger or risks in substances
   • do not post your location. not your city, not your state, not your country. definitely don't post this and go on to ask for plugs - you are asking for trouble, that stuff is for DMs with trusted friends
   • harm reduction vs judgement

5. Follow TOS: Use common sense regarding general Twitter rules.

   • bigotry, harassment, threats, wishing harm on other users, etc. anything that gets you banned on normal Twitter also gets you banned here, and may be reported to the Twitter team too.

All advertisement posts, including "normal" posts with telegram links, will be taken down unless specifically cleared with the moderation. No self promotion is allowed with the exception of verified brand ambassadors individually approved by members of our administration including the owner themself.

If you are a regular member and see a post like this, first check the list. If someone off this list posts an ad, please report it. If you have any questions or need clarification please DM @dxmfairy.

Common Scams  

Scammers are everywhere and they're creative, especially here in the community. Here are some scams that have been noted lately:

• Botted accounts: Some accounts have been cloned as many as 10+ times by bots, so if you are purchasing a product be sure that the username is the same as the one listed in the official verified list. Be wary of new or alt accounts of regular users popping up who may have very few followers or be unable to truly verify their identity.
• "DM me for a trusted seller": This is a known scam technique, used by bots and real people. Bots often spam reply this to every post in an effort to reach as many people as possible. Remember they prey on the desperate.
  • If you truly have a seller you would like to recommend and know they are interested in the community, you should ask them to reach out to administration.
• Stolen identity: The most common form of identity fraud here is stolen stash images used to promote sales, though people have been known to fake entire identities of existing businesses. When in doubt, find out which business existed first, make sure to reverse image search any stash pics and report to administration with your findings.
• "Verified" seller: Always check the list of sellers before buying a product, and if you have doubts please contact the owner directly to confirm that someone is truly verified. People are known to abuse the tag.
• "Discreet" shipping: Some sellers may mention that they are shipping a package "discreetly" and this could be a red flag. While nothing terrible happens during the process of purchase, you will receive an email through an address pretending to be a shipping company and either demanding you pay them in order not to open your package or to pay a "discreet shipping fee". Disregard such emails as they are all scams and fully intended by the seller.

When purchasing through drugtwt and even in some external transactions, our scam safety team is here to help you confirm the validity of any purchase you aren't sure about. If you truly worry about a seller, wait a week or two before purchasing and see if any new information or reviews pop up. In the end, if you do get scammed, some options do exist - except with crypto, you can often report the transaction on a payment app or even call your bank and report the transaction as a last resort. Depending on the amount lost, replacing your card may be worth recouping the loss.

FAQ  

Member Verification  

1. What are the drugtwt membership requirements?
a. We accept users who have an age visible in their profile and who post or like drug content. Answering the verification question ("how old are you and what drugs do you do?") is a good way to fast track your approval.
2. Why are you a closed community?
a. Drugtwt seeks to cultivate a certain vibe. We need members to be nonjudgmental, so we restrict membership to those who do drugs — another reason is to try not to encourage people who don't do drugs to start, since we are heavily focused on hard drugs. We look for maturity and low drama, hence adult members. In addition, we don't allow minors in so we stay under Twitter's radar as we are focused on adult content. Last, we want members who are active, non-bigoted, and genuine to foster healthy engagement. This is why some private or very small accounts aren't approved.
3. Why have I been pending for ten years? Why do you not let me in?
a. We have hundreds of requests at literally any given time. Sometimes we have to do human things like sleep or go on phone-dying level benders. Be patient.
4. Why did you deny me I hate you???
a. It was probably an error, sometimes a simple slipped finger. Feel free to reapply, and if you did not answer the verification question before, PLEASE do it now!
3. Can I complain to someone directly about sitting in the pending queue forever?
a. You sure can! Head over to @crystallinemint and see if there's anything they can do.
4. Wait, why can't I request to join?
a. Two possibilities. You either have blocked / are blocked by a moderator, or you have been banned. Unfortunately, Twitter has been very nonspecific on what constitutes a ban, and over time we figured out that any kick from the community is considered a ban. We now have ways around this if temp bans are necessary, and if we recognize your account we can attempt to explain why you were removed if you fill out the ban inquiry form.

Off Topic Posts  

We know the wording of this rule is vague, so here are some clear guidelines with examples.

1. No asking for sources.

Why? They're scam magnets. The info you get is highly likely to be bait, inaccurate or not helpful to your specific situation. General guideline with this is if you would get a better answer from talking to a friend, don't ask it here.

Not Allowed:

• "Anyone here have _ ?" — Attracts scammers. If any verified ads pop up, check those to see if they are relevant to you, or ask the verification team privately if they know any sources.
• "Anyone have _ in _ ?" — Breaks both topic and safety rules. Don't post your location.
• "How do I get _ ?" — More scammer bait. Also, in most cases this would fall under not helping people get into hard drugs or not aiding minors in illegal activities.

Allowed:

• "How do I use the dark web?" — General educational question, not specific to you looking to purchase any particular thing.
• "How much is (drug) in your area?" — Community poll-like questions are ok and encouraged as they promote interactive discussion.

2. No sourcing, selling or advertising.

Why? We care about the safety of our members and are aware of the prevalence of scammers. Unfortunately, we cannot individually check every source or link posted, so they are not allowed. Plus, if we allow these posts they will take over the community.

Not Allowed:

• Posts containing these types of content:
  • Phrases like "tap in", "hit my dms", any mention of telegram/tele
  • Menu or prices in text or pictures
  • Links to another social platform, regardless of other content in the post
  • "Contact (username)" or any promotion of another user
• Donation posts, gofundmes — These are off topic for the community's purpose and will flood the community if not kept in check. We cannot verify anyone's situation or individually allow certain people to ask for money. This includes links to someone else's crowdfund.
• Non-drug-related things you have for sale. This is off topic anyways.

Allowed:

• Reviews or touchdowns from a mod-verified user — Since we specifically allowed these particular posts we encourage users to post their experiences. It helps boost their reputation within the community.
• Free stuff like art or writing (drug related or for the community specifically), free harm reduction supplies
• Giveaways of drugs or drug related items — generally, things promoting public engagement are ok.

3. Unrelated life updates

Why? This is a community for users to post about using in a judgment free space. Posts about your life are better suited to your public timeline. The same goes for images, links, and memes; keep it related.

These topics are explicitly allowed:

• Offers to ship out free harm reduction supplies
• Harm reduction tips and resources
• Drug-related art, memes, images and videos. For now, this includes screenshots of conversations with your plug or about drugs as long as this type of post isn't overdone.
• High posts, pics/vids of you consuming substances (please spoiler IV use)
• Stash pics as long as their text content does not appear to be an advertisement. Posts about receiving a shipment are okay, but don't post your source unless reviewing a user in-community.

Harmful vs Harm Reduction  

When thinking about whether a post is appropriate, consider:

• Is the context appropriate? Are they asking for tips or information? If they're high and having fun, consider holding off unless they're obviously in danger.
• Is it hurtful? Insults and name-calling are not allowed or helpful. Hurtful posts are not limited to overt insults, use common sense and think about how it would read to see in your own notifications.
• Is it insulting to those who use the drug in question? Tell people about the risks and give safety tips if youre talking aboyStatements like "x is a kiddie drug" or "idiots do x" may not hurt you or the person you're replying to, but it might hurt someone scrolling through the community who sees your conversation.
