medical bullshit and other sfuff

i'm sort of inspired by those sheets that creators make for the people working on their project about their characters. the basics on how to write them, and the wrongs that would fundamentally ruin them.

lav and shea are in the same situation. both want someone to talk to. lea believes no one would listen, so he gave up trying. shea believes he doesn't deserve it, so he, too, gave up trying.

lav talks only when weak. he knows it's best he doesn't, as to not be a bother. he answers when prompted. he's used to being talked to, being a shoulder to cry on.

shea, sometimes, or—used to—pick out people he trusted to talk to. when they got overwhelmed, he learned to stop. he's used to lying to get his way socially.

they distrust eachother.

when shea talks at him, lav feels antagonized.

shea feels listened to, but knows lav will one day resent him for it, so he tries to not be too honest, incase one thing will be the thing that makes lav leave—why try talking again anyway? if what you have to say isn't good enough?

when lav talks at him, shea feels nothing. he assumes lav, being social, always talks the way he does to him.

lav feels stupid. despite giving shea special attention—talking at him—shea seems to be in his own world anyway—why try talking again anyway? if your efforts are ignored?

they need & enjoy each other.

lav never gets the chance to bicker. he's been handling his anger problems seperate from everyone in his life, naturally, and therefore tries his hardest to stay supportive and calm always. with no one but shea will he bully so relentlessly.

shea never gets the chance to speak honestly. even if it's in little snippets, and even if lav isn't giving him his full attention, it feels nice to just speak in truths sometimes. no one but lav will hear these thoughts.

they are eachother's outlets.

shea & lav are in a consistent immovable cycle of missing eachother, thinking they understand one another, feeling immense fear that the aforementioned isn't true, and bickering. (and maybe some genuine conversation if they're feeling extra unstable.)

possible medical diagnoses!

i doubt either of them would ever seek any medical treatment in canon. however, they may suffer from disorders, or something like them.

shea likes his skin covered. if he could without looking 'odd', he'd wear gloves too.

frankly they should both be redressed. lavender should be wearing semi fitting jeans and a graphic tee, like, way too long. maybe a long sleeve too. shea should be wearing ... cargo pants, Mayybeee similar to what he does now, with a less cozy off the shoulder top.

lav may have been the type to wear a cap, considering he often wouldnt have a hood. also absoLUTELY a tracksuit type. if he wants to look rather Cool, that is.
