This is the page containing information on /vg/aicg/'s weekly theme events a bots. Mini-events of this type have existed previously but haven't been held in a while. The person managing this Rentry isn't the same host from previous weekly theme events. Their page, along with old event event submissions, can be found here.

About voting

One of the reasons why weekly theme events ceased to happen was because bad actors would use bots to influence the outcome of the public polls. To prevent that from happening, from now on, voting will be done via e-mailing. Once a list of options has been published, you may then e-mail with whichever option(s) you'd like to win.

I will simultaneously make online polls, but these are only for the purpose of watching the trend and don't actually count. Only the e-mail votes count!

August 16th~18th: Voting period through e-mail
August 19th~26th: Bot crafting and submission period
Users have asked for shorter durations, so we're going with 2 days for suggestions, 3 for voting, and 7 for actually writing. Don't wait until the last moment to suggest or vote or you may miss out the deadline.

Last week's ranked election system worked marvelously, so we're going to do that again. You'll be able to vote on multiple themes, in the order in which you want them to win.

Impossible Areas(think places that don't exist in the real world, like a floating island, O'Neil Cylinder, undersea base, tree top city, etc)

Conflict in a developing country (refugee, rebel, loyalist, pmc, aid worker, etc). Fantasy/non-human/alternate history accepted!
