READ
This guide should be treated as for beginners not as a tier list to follow once you've been playing for some time. You should be reading your trekker's skills and potentials and forming your teams based on that and testing them in Ascension. Remember, your teams always want to have someone who applies marks of your element and can trigger them. Most of your damage is going to come from elemental marks, not simply pumping out skills. This should be treated as a community driven tier list. I am not here to tell you how to play the game just here trying to help since we have no site willing to pick up the game and give it a serious tier tier list based on crunching the numbers.

Core Team Building Logic:

1. Vanguard triggers marks when used as main character
2. Versatile triggers marks when used as main character but CANNOT trigger marks when positioned as support
3. Support can only add marks but don't trigger them.

Vanguard
This is for who should be in your vanguard slots. I didn't bother with the usual letters because it doesn't really apply that well for this game anyway with how varied builds can end up being. This is a general ranking and open to discussion besides the top tiers. Again this is for how well they do as a vanguard NOT an overall tier ranking as individual units.

Note: Mistique is much stronger as a support and while she's not weak as a vanguard by any means she is by far more powerful as a support and does much more damage. Only use her in the front line if you're intent on using her because you like her.

Support
This is for who should be in your support slots. It's a lot less cut and dry in this case so again I didn't bother using letter rankings. Open to discussion besides the top tiers who are obvious. This is for who should be in your supporting slots and not a general tier ranking. The nice thing about supports is they can fulfill different roles depending on how you build them. So treat this as more along the lines of advice rather than absolute.

Teams
This is a tier list ranking teams. I do not have knowledge of every possible combination of builds when it comes to them so I stuck to general knowledge I am aware of and gave advice where I could. This can also always be edited to include more useful information and updated over time.

Notice: Ultra Welfare is for people who don't even have a 5 star of that element to work with. Every team with that label should be treated as hopefully very temporary as you roll for a 5 star unit of that element or use a selector on them to fill out your team properly.

Vanguard is always first in the listing of teams.

Every tier list is open to updates and discussion nothing is absolute when Yostar can just decide to powercreep us every time a new banner drops. If you have any suggestions or updates you want please mention them in the thread I'm open to changing anything.
