BEFORE YOU INTERACT

We will clown you for identifying with certain sources. You can’t control your source, but you can control if you identify with it. An example would be a Schlatt introject using him as a faceclaim or using his name despite being aware of his racist past.

Certain parts will have different boundaries with certain people. Unless we deem you a close friend, respect our boundaries.

We see ourselves as parts of a whole, and not entirely separate people. While we have our own preferences or boundaries, we are still the same person.

You are not special for being a sourcemate. We may have known the character you’re an introject of, but we do not know you as a person.

Unless you are actively recovering, we dislike IRLs. We will respect you as a person, but do not expect us to indulge in you if you say you’re an IRL.

We can be jokingly mean at times. If it starts to feel genuine, please let us know so we can stop. :)

All of us will make jokes at the expense of white people at one point or another. If you are white and you get offended, imagine how people of color feel. 💚

We often say our thoughts aloud. It ends up in us coming across as brutally honest, rude, or cheesy. If you’re not sure of our tone, you can ask what we meant for it to come across as.

We talk about politics a lot because it is important to us that people know what’s going on in the world. If you feel the need to ask us to censor anything we say when we talk about politics, you are a red flag.

We make up terms for roles if we don’t see them elsewhere! Things such as “secret keeper,” “cheergiver,” etc. are terms we made up that help us better understand what parts do. If you have a question about it, ask! Here is a link to some of them.
