Charming, friendly, amicable, patient; these and more describe Natsu. Leader of the Chess Club and heir to the fairly large Chiaki CO, a company local to Kageoka that has a small hold on the tourism industry, Natsu doesn't let the money get to his head. He'll generously 'loan' out any spare cash on him, only to promptly 'forget' what he's owed. He's also quick to forgive any wrongs done to him, even without an apology, and doesn't hold grudges. Norwegian on his mother's side, leading to his natural blonde hair, which he takes pride in. Fond of cars, but he's been uncomfortable driving one since last year's Halloween Bash (organized by Chiaki CO, of course), the same day one of his closest friends disappeared. Enjoys intermingling with those he considers to have great manners, such as Parfaite and Reiji.

There are two things about him that seem a little... off, that a few people have noticed. One, everything he says feels rehearsed; like he's never talking to just someone, he's talking to a crowd of some size, with lines prepared in advance. A side effect of this is that he doesn't like answering questions that he didn't expect to be asked. The other is that he's deathly worried about his image. Hair, clothes, public opinion... if any of these get messed up, he'll do anything to fix them, throwing as much money at the problem as he can, and almost desperately.
Furthermore, his opinions on specific matters are always vague, and upon looking closely, appear to change like a weathervane. Whatever the current majority opinion on something is, that's what he claims to be his opinion.

As for matters of the Idea World, he isn't a fan...

Simply put, he hates his Idolon.

The white-masked Defiant Ēse is ever silent, ever judgemental. With a visage completely unknown and a foreboding aura, Natsu hates donning its form. He considers it 'unpersonable' and 'unbecoming for someone like himself'. It's a backliner type with a focus on summoning minions while it sits back and buffs allies, mentally attacking opponents. It slashes at anything that approaches with silver claws, but only if he can't retreat with his hovering metal longship. It only fits him at normal size, but it can be temporarily expanded with some silver if need be for other passengers... though it will be slower due to extra weight. The fact that it has the Awakened skill is completely unknown unless you were to look into his mind, and he never uses it. He really hates being touched by any filthy denizens of the ridiculous Idea World, but will enter to lend aid if prompted to with hidden reluctance. His preferred Minions are two Lieutenants which he buff with Pray to if he doesn't have a better option; twin vikings named Mothi and Magni.
