Zed - Zoroark

Situation: Former human
Appearance: Zed is a large Zoroark, but otherwise standard looking. Will generally be wearing either an assault vest and a focus sash with the guild badge on his head, or a hard hat and a high-vis version of his assault vest with a few extra tool belts.
Home and Haunts: Zed can be found wherever the construction is happening in town during the mornings, his training area in the valley out behind the guild, or in his room or office at the guild hall in the evenings. He will also frequently be in the bath house at some point each evening.
Occupation: Zed is generally seen as the Guild Leader and in charge of the town, though he shares those duties with Aella, Forest and Mutt. When not dealing with those duties he can be found working with Forest on general construction and infrastructure works around town.
Personality and Backstory:
Zed was a tradesman from Australia, here courtesy of an Alien abduction gone wrong. Setting out he began exploring this new world and the new body he was given, quickly discovering the town and his recently enhanced psychic affinity. Through hard work, plundering and experimentation he soon gained immense power, which he abused both to reconstruct the town and to amuse himself and others.
In the end though this came at a price. Fracturing his mind, his power exploded in a catastrophic display with many consequences.
Zed recovered and has been slightly more careful since, but still aims to push the limits of what can be done with elemental might and magic of this world.
Day to day Zed is a generally cheery individual, though he is prone to becoming tired and stressed due to various things. He can be relied upon to help anyone who asks and works hard to keep the town safe and happy. His greatest joy however comes from playing with his abilities and showing them off to others. His most impressive trick is his ability to combine his psychic abilities with his illusions to create hard-body illusions, able to mimic living and inanimate things.

Relations to Other Characters:
Character Name - Relationship
Sanaa - Former love, current friend. The two became entangled in a love triangle that ended in tears. Working to patch things up and enjoy a good friendship.
Vex - Guild member and rival for Sanaa's affections. Rocky relationship for a number of reasons, Zed has on many occasions tried to extend a hand to him only to be met with a wall of stone. He persists in spite of that, partly because it's better to have a wrecking ball on your side than against you.
Mewt - Good friend, enjoys their conversations and cooking. Their smoothies are a life saver. Sadly doesn't get to hang out with them as much as he'd like.
Wisp - complicated. One of Zed's creations that came to life as a result of an accident. Zed abused his connection with him when they first met and while the two seem to get along there is friction deep down.
Nina – complicated. Another of Zed’s creations that came to life, while they work together sometimes she generally lives her own life. Zed cares about both Nina and Wisp and every now and then they and some of the others will hang out together
