Kogane SSR10 - Emotional Pure Snow

"Layer after layer of pure white" - Gacha intro

1 - Let's go to the Snow country
"My friend likes the same person that I love?"
Producer talks to Kogane about a new job. Two heroines are in love with the same man. Kogane will play a college student who closes her heart because of this dilemma. of course, if she accepts the role, she does so immediately. She's surprised because this is yet another role in which she plays someone different from herself. (see PSSR8), The setting for the story is a local hot spring, and the schedule is tight, so Producer will ensure that everything goes well. The next day, very early at the Bullet Train Station, he and Kogane decide what to eat on the way to the hot spring. Kogane has already chosen her food: a seasonal dish. In the case of Producer, the option wheel appears (all of them end with the sound of the bullet train announcing the passengers to enter)

Pork dumplings

Producer takes this dish since he hasn't eaten it in a long time and got a craving for it, Kogane is worried that P doesn't eat well, but he responds that he eats well, it's just that he's not a good cook unlike her, Kogane hearing this tells P that she will make pork dumplings for him whenever he wants, he just has to ask.

Chicken rice

Kogane tells producer that this was her second choice. He agrees to split it with her since it's good to have variety when you want to eat. Kogane teases him about how this makes them look like a couple... Producer pretends he didn't hear that.

I'll eat the same

Kogane and producer take the seasonal makunouchi bento. He admits that he chose the same one because he would surely get jealous seeing Kogane eat such a seasonal dish. Since Kogane eats everything with such passion, it makes you want to eat the same thing as her. That's what Producer likes about Kogane. Kogane replies that those praises won't accomplish anything.

2 - Snowlike temperature
After the cast is introduced, the director apologizes to Kogane for asking her to take on the project at the last minute. She doesn't mind, and the director replies that he has high hopes for her and the project. While they're talking, the producer notices an actress looking at Kogane. The actress plays the other heroine. She leaves, leaving the producer to wonder if he was just imagining things. Some time later, Producer and Kogane are waiting for her scene to start. While they wait, Kogane talks to another actress on the set. She tells Kogane that she's not good at talking to people like her and will only talk to her when they're filming. The actress leaves to wait somewhere else. Kogane is shocked, but recovers, "Nae can be helped if she’s no' good at dealin' wi’ me," Kogane rereads the script. producer tells her that she doesn't need to worry about it, and that he will make sure that they don't cross paths unless they're filming. Kogane tells the producer not to worry.

I would have a problem if someone said that to my face, so this is how she looked at Kogane this morning - Producer

Kogane asks the producer if she can ask him a question: "If there’s somebody out there ye dinnae get on wi'?" (苦手な人 can be translated as "Person you are not good with" decided to use "don't get along with" since is less heavy that the other option "someone you don't like"), The option wheel appears.

Yeah, I guess

Producer can't think of anyone right now, but he admits that there are one or two people he doesn't get along with. Kogane says that's a very Producer-like answer, but she's also surprised that he has someone like that. She says she doesn't know how that feels. Producer tells Kogane that's one good thing about her, as she seems to like everyone, He also tells her that the difference between disliking and liking is small, and that people's feelings change over time, so it's not good to get so upset about such things. Kogane is grateful to producer for cheering her up.

I wonder

Producer says it's better not to think about that. If you don't get along with someone and become defensive, it will show in your personality. When that happens, things won't work out well. So, He tells himself that there's no one he can't get along with. Kogane likes producer's way of thinking and admits that she'll try to follow his example.

Yes

Kogane apologizes for asking such a sudden question, producer tells her not to worry because this is important to him as well. He says there's no right way to relate to or get along with everyone, but not to worry about it. Whatever she's worried about, he and she will solve it together. Kogane responds by telling producer that no matter what problem he has, she can always count on him too.

3- A heart covered in snow
Rereading the script, Kogane has trouble with the scene in which the two heroines become suspicious of each other and are unsure about each other's feelings. Producer says this scene may be due to the two heroines looking at each other superficially and thinking they know everything about each other. Producer uses Kogane as an example. Outside of 283pro, people may see her as an idol who sailed with favorable winds, who didn't struggle or work hard to succeed, It's not like the internet and her profile show everything Kogane has gone through. The Kogane that the internet and fans see is different from the Kogane that he sees. After thinking about it, Kogane decides that she wants to talk to the actress again to learn more about her. In return, she will learn more about Kogane. Kogane believes that people can't just decide not to get along with someone or not to like someone out of the blue. In his head, producer is happy that Kogane took the hint while re-reading the script. He will make sure that Kogane and the actress can talk to each other without interruption.

Kogane and the actress meet again. She introduces herself, and the actress, stunned, listens as Kogane tells her how she left Nagasaki to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. She talks about how she was rejected time and time again, told to correct her accent, and advised to apply as a gravure model instead. After facing many difficulties, she finally became an idol. Kogane understands, but she also wonders why the actress wouldn't get along with her. She thinks she should know a bit about her before coming to such a conclusion. After a moment of silence, the actress starts laughing. She doesn't understand Kogane's plan. Kogane just thought it would be a good idea to talk to each other again. The actress apologizes, still laughing, and admits that her attitude might have been a case of 同族嫌悪/どうぞくけんお (Not liking someone similar to yourself), The actress reveals to Kogane that she also came from a rural town with a heavy accent. She talks about how she failed many auditions and had to work part-time to support herself. Unlike Kogane, she finally got gigs after adopting a "cool character who speaks in standard Japanese." She was upset with Kogane for holding on to everything she had to change, Initially, the actress saw Kogane as someone who never had to work hard to get where she was. Now, she says goodnight to Kogane in more cordial terms. Afterwards, Kogane thanks producer for helping her, but he tells her that she did all the heavy lifting and that he just set the stage. To celebrate, they decide to have ice cream, with the producer deciding which flavor to get.

Chocolate

"It’s chocolate flavour then," says Kogane as she and Producer prepare to enjoy their night snack. He tells her that he can share some of the sweets that the staff gave him as gifts, but she tells him to stop tempting her with more sweets, especially at night.

Vanilla

Kogane knew Producer was in the mood for vanilla, just like her. Producer says he always tries to figure out what she's thinking and what she's trying to do.

Soda

Kogane agrees that it's a refreshing flavor, and she's glad they're eating the same thing. Eating ice cream in a warm room in the winter is the best feeling. Producer agrees and says that he'll enjoy the best winter feeling too, but he'll bring blankets to keep warm while eating ice cream so they don't catch a cold. Kogane tells Producer to stop acting like her mom.

4 - Beyond the snow-covered scenery
Snow covered beauty
Once the world is covered in snow, it has to keep falling forever, you can't hide snow stains unless you add layer after layer of pure white, where can you find a pure white heart, where can you find snow that isn't tainted? I too am so deeply tainted. I can no longer hide it. - Kogane's character

The director is happy that the scene was filmed in one take. The actress praises Kogane for describing the scene so well. She was about to say something to Kogane, but she stopped. Instead, she told Kogane that they would meet again. Now that the shooting is over, producer is organizing the luggage in the room. The director comes to talk to producer. He talks about how the two heroines are different, but deep down, they are similar, which will cause conflict, "That's why you wanted Kogane to take the role? " Producer asked, The director thought that the two women and their backgrounds could create wonderful synergy. Producer was impressed by the experiment. The director thought that Kogane could face anyone without hesitation, no matter what they thought of her, because she always gives her all as an "idol." "That's her charm, after all," said producer. The director is grateful that, thanks to the producer and 283pro's understanding and support, Kogane has reached this level. Kogane enters the room and finds producer and the director still talking.

True end - The melting snow, the sunlight and
Producer informs Kogane that, thanks to the success of the movie, there will be more stage greetings. Kogane says she was able to act so well thanks to the crew, director, co-stars, and, of course, Producer. Producer is grateful to help her, as always, both as her fan and her producer. Producer mentions that, according to moviegoers, her "looking at the snow" scene is the movie's signature scene. "While filming this scene, were you thinking of anyone in particular?" Tproducer asks, Kogane is speechless. Producer apologizes and tells her it's okay if she doesn't want to tell him. Kogane doesn't want to be rude by not answering him. After a moment, she says she never thought about it. She immediately changes the subject to her upcoming gig at a gourmet location. Producer comes in and tells her that the director of the gig wants someone connected to Kogane to be a special guest. She thinks someone from L'Antica would work. However, she'd rather have someone else who hasn't worked with her before. Then, she has an idea.

Kogane is currently filming a gourmet show with a special guest: the actress who starred alongside her in that movie. The host asks about their relationship. Kogane mentions that they starred in a movie together. The actress replies in kind, adding that she has become a fan of Kogane's after getting to know her better and that she is delighted to be a guest on the show alongside her, The host congratulates Kogane on gaining another fan. The actress talks about how bright and bold Kogane is, and how she walked into the room without hesitation to talk to her. Kogane stops her and asks if those are compliments. The actress replies that she is giving her idol the highest praise she can think of, since Kogane is someone who can light up the darkness.
