You didn't mean to do it, It just happened.
Thousands of lego pieces, all over the floor.
"Kronii I-I didn't mean..."
She had collapsed on the floor, staring at the decimation before her. Completely silent.
You had been teasing her a little about her hobbies, picking up little builds of hers and playing with them.
She didn't take it well, getting visibly upset at you, jumping to try and grab an intricately detailed model of the Flying Scotsman in your hand as you held it above her, gently mocking her for her infantile interests.
She had had enough and pushed you.
You fell, knocking over her pride and joy, a giant mech of some description.
"Sorry!" You had been apologising non-stop for five minutes or so, but she just sat their like a lifeless doll.
You bend down and gently cup her face. Her usually beautiful eyes looked devoid of life as if her soul had been sucked out.
"Kronii, please I'm sorry I didn't mean to do it!" Shaking her, trying to get any kind of response out of her, you were getting upset yourself, cursing your actions.
"Kronii... I-I want to rebuild it, I'll fix it! I'll make things right!"
Something stirred inside of her, her eyes looked into yours. Tears began streaming down her pallid cheeks.
"Let's rebuild it together Kronii"
A forlorn sob was the reply.
You cuddle and comfort her, stroking her hair as she wept, trars staining your shirt.
After a few minutes Kronii pulls back and wipes her eyes with the back of her hand. With some composure regained she crossed her arms amd pouted.
"I'll only accept your apology when we have finished it...hmph"
You felt so blessed to have this chance at forgiveness, you apologise again for good measure.
"D-don't bully me like that again... I-It brings back bad memories..."
The rapid deterioration of her mood was evident enough that you had crossed a line.
As you get up to start scooping the Lego rubble up, Kronii grabs your sleeve. Looking away from you but making sure you can just about hear her, she says in a small voice:
"I'm really happy you want to build with me though"
Your heart melts like butter and you can't resist snuggling this cutie.
A smile forms on her face as you coddle her, your joint Lego Kensetsu venture was just beginning.
