Just Voicing It Won’t Hurt! (Part 1)
A Searching for the 7th Etoile Event Side Story
The Legendary Palm Tree?
Panda: Ah~ It was such a pleasure to soak in a hot bath today.
Chisa: Yeah. The water quality was great as always. The hardness was just right.
Panda: Well, Panda doesn’t know about that, but…
Panda: She just meant that although we planned to have fun, she got so fired up during practice, it was nice to relax in a bath after that.
Chisa: Yeah, it was fun. Swapping the roles, I mean.
Panda: Well… It certainly made Panda think a lot.
Chisa: Like, that playing a tree would be nice?
Panda: No way Panda would think that. Besides, there’s no such role in The Phantom of the Opera.
Chisa: That’s a downer. I wonder if I get to play a tree in the next performance.
Panda: No chance… Say, are there any other roles you’d like to play?
Chisa: Hmm, a flounder… a mushroom… a cloud… It must be fun to try portraying a baguette, too.
Panda: Panda doubts such roles even exist…
Chisa: What about you, Panda? In the end, you’d prefer princess roles?
Panda: Right! After all, theatre allows you to live your dreams, or rather, onstage you can even act out the impossible!
Panda: Wait, speaking of the impossible…
Panda: Imagine two princes falling in love with Panda… “Please, marry me!” “No, you should choose me!” Kyaa!~
Chisa: Yeah. And since there are two princes fighting over it, the tree…
Panda: What tree?! Panda said she was playing the princess.
Chisa: But how about the tree regaining its true form after the two princes kiss it?
Panda: Oh, that does sound like a proper fairytale!
Chisa: After the two princes have kissed the tree, it awakens to its true self, the legendary palm tree.
Panda: Shouldn’t it have been the princess?! Panda’s not gonna play the legendary palm tree.
Chisa: Well, that’s a pity.
Chisa: Let’s have Kathrina play it then. She said she’d play any role.
Panda: Panda doubts Kathrina would like the idea either.
Chisa: Then how about Niizuma?
Panda: Niizumacchi would probably agree… But if Sirius makes her do that, its reputation will be done for.
Chisa: Then it should be Kathrina, after all.
Chisa: The story begins with the legendary palm tree turned into an ordinary tree by an evil sorcerer.
Panda: Who’s gonna be the sorcerer?
Chisa: Maybe Niizuma, to subvert expectations?
Panda: Oh, nice idea.
Chisa: The tree that’s become just another tree in the forest, spends its lonely days lamenting its unfortunate fate.
Yae: “Mwahaha! My spell has turned you into a mere ordinary tree!”
Kathrina: “Oh no, I’ve become just like all other trees… No one can see my beautiful leaves anymore!”
Chisa: But one day, two princes wander into the forest.
Panda: Oh! Nice development. Who’s gonna play them? Since it’s princes, probably Sassu and Koko-chan?
Chisa: Yes, let’s go with that.
Chisa: Both princes are looking for a gift for a princess in order to ask for her hand in marriage.
Chisa: That princess is Panda, right?
Panda: Awesome! And? What’s the gift?
Chisa: Hmm, maybe a wooden panda sculpture? And in the depth of the forest the princes see just the right tree.
Kokona: “Wow! Who could have thought there was such a perfect tree growing here!”
Chisa: “What a wonderful tree! My heart’s overflowing with happiness, and I can’t wait to embrace you!”
Panda: Somehow Panda doesn’t like where this is going…
Chisa: And the two princes kiss the tree.
Panda: For real…
