I don't have time for this.

Appears in the right sidebar of the chat room. You can find your participants and shitters here.

There are ways to open it:

  • Clicking on a user from the Member List (on the right side).
  • Clicking on when you hover over another user message.

You can leave the room completely by hovering over the button and clicking the Unsubscribe Room/Quit Membership button when visible.

Room Chatting

Images and Links
Unfortunately, only registered accounts can post actual images, but you can post links to images, as well as other stuffs. However, they're not linkified for some reason, so you'll have to deal with selecting the whole URL and copypasting it into your address bar.

Recommended file hosting sites:

  • Litterbox: Use if you just want to shitpost, to save up Catbox dwindling and expensive storage.
  • Catbox: Use it when you want to share your replays of your big shots.

Room Security

Waiting List (Admin)
A security option that improves your room's protection against shitters, and allows for more control over invitations. When this is enabled, you'll deal with the barrage of requests from the users waiting for your approval.

  • Post the invite link in the thread and wait for them to finish setting up their accounts.
  • !Notifier will appear on your menu sidebar, informing you of the requests. ✱
  • Go to Room Settings > MEMBERS; from there, you can approve or deny each invitee's request.
  • To remove the user from the member list; either ban the user or go to the MEMBERS setting and click REMOVE MEMBER on the user.

✱ For some unknown reason, the notifier only works for the room owner. As an admin/moderator, you'll have to rely on your guts.

Waiting List (User)
The users won't immediately join the room and they need to send a join request.

  • Click JOIN ROOM/OPEN to send a join request to the moderators.
  • When you approve their request, !Notifications will appear on their menu sidebar.
  • Upon clicking on it, the JOIN ROOM button will appear in their chat window.

Room Password Technique
Knowing when to lock up and change the password will make your room very secured.

  • Make sure the Waiting List mode is turned off.
  • Set up the room password, if you haven't already.
  • Share the invite link.
  • When they stop coming, find all shitters.
  • Change the room password. ✱
  • Ban every shitter.
  • Rinse and repeat.

Even if they change their names, they can't enter your room because of the password change.

✱ Don't use the old password again because of the auto-login function; i.e., they can enter the room instantly without being prompted for a password.

Start Your Video Call

Separate Room

It's an entirely separate room, has its own invite link and user list; anyone can join the video call directly without being in the chat room.
You can have multiple video calls, which is useful for certain activities, e.g., segregating players based on their skills.

Moderators only.

  • Click the button in the upper right corner of the screen.
  • Click CONFERENCE CALL when prompted.
  • You'll immediately join the call and the the call invite link will be automatically forwarded to your chat room.
  • Click Allow when it's asking for permission to use your camera and microphone.

You should now be able to invite anons to your video call. If you're interested, you can explore and learn more stuffs below:
I don't have time for this.

Video Call Interface

Control Bar
Your control bar is at the bottom of the screen.

  • Mute / Unmute / Start / Stop Camera : Self-explanatory. Careful not to dox yourself.
    • : Opens the Audio and Video Settings; lets you quickly change your video, microphone, and speaker.
  • Start / Stop Sharing your Screen : Self-explanatory. Careful not to show you're /here/.
  • Open / Close Chat : Opens the chat sidebar.
  • Raise / Lower your Hand : Raises your virtual hand.
    • : Opens the Reaction Menu; lets you react audibly.
  • Participants : Opens Participant List.
  • Toggle Tile View : Arranges and swaps between video thumbnails.
  • More Actions : Opens a menu containing more relevant options:
    • Your Name: Lets you change your name.
    • Manage Video Quality: Self-explanatory.
    • Security Options: Lets you enable Lobby Mode, Password, and End-to-End Encryption (E2EE; Chromium).
    • Start Recording: Self-explanatory (unresearched).
    • Start Live Streaming: Uses your YouTube stream key to stream for you (untested; likely a security and privacy risk).
    • Share Video: Lets you share a video or live stream with a direct URL. ✱
    • Share Audio: Lets you share audio through screen share (Chromium). ✱

✱ These options have an annoying exploit. See the troubleshooting list for Video/Audio Share Exploit.

User Thumbnails
They reside in an invisible pane on the right side of the screen. You can hide the thumbnails by clicking on the small arrow button.

There are two types of user thumbnails:

  • (You): Your video thumbnail is always at the upper corner of the pane.
  • Other: Their video thumbnails are always at the lower corner of the pane.

You can swap focus by clicking on the video thumbnail (including yours).

Minimize Call

  • To minimize the call: Click the button in the right corner of the title bar. ✱
  • To restore the call: Click the button in the upper right corner of the screen. ✱

✱ You must be in a chat room to see the title bar. It's pointless if you join the call from somewhere other than this site.

Close Call
There are two ways to close the call:

  • Click the button in the right corner of the title bar. ✱
  • Click the button in your control bar. ✱²

✱ Need to be in a chat room to see the button.
✱² This will take you to the Y99 Meet homepage ( APPS > Y99 Meet).

Be careful. If you're the last moderator, anyone can take control of your call if you leave. See the troubleshooting list for Free Call Control.

Video Call Chatting

Chat Sidebar
You can open the chat sidebar by clicking the button in your control bar

Polling
You can also make polls by clicking the Poll tab in the chat sidebar.

Private Messaging
You can PM anyone in a video call by doing one of the following below:

  • Hover over beside the user thumbnail and click Send Private Message.
  • Click while hovering over the user in the participant list and click Send Private Message.

It's also a great way to avoid getting the wrong players in your lobby. Useful for the games with a simple lobby invite or code system.

Video Call Security

Lobby Mode
It's like the Waiting List mode but for video calls.

  • The user must click Ask to Join to send a join request to the moderators. ✱
  • You will see Knocking Participant List window appearing in the upper left corner of the call.
  • Click Allow for each invitee.

✱ If the password is set, they can just enter the room right away with the correct password so if you ever start a new call, don't use the same password.

Call Password Technique
It's just like the Room Password Technique but for video calls.

  • Turn off the Lobby Mode. ✱
  • Set up the call password, if you haven't already.
  • Share the invite link.
  • When they stop coming, find all shitters.
  • Change the room password. ✱²
  • Ban every shitter.
  • Rinse and repeat.

Even if they change their names, they can't enter your call because of the password change.

✱ If you leave it on, you'll get an annoying unclosable window and non-stop knocking SFX (which can be muted in the More Actions setting) from the shitters that keep spam clicking the join request button. See the troubleshooting list for Lobby Mode Annoyance.
✱² Don't use the old password again because of the auto-login function; i.e., they can enter the room instantly without being prompted for a password.

Moderator Rights
There are two ways to promote:

  • Hover over the icon in the user's video thumbnail and click Grant Moderator Rights when visible.
  • Hover over the rogue's name in the participant list, then click the button and select Grant Moderator Rights.

Unfortunately, you can't demote the moderators, but you can kick them out to remove their rights.

  • Hover over the icon in the rogue's video thumbnail and click Kick.
  • Hover over the rogue's name in the participant list, then click the button and select Kick.

Be warned though, the user you're promoting may go rogue. See the troubleshooting list for Rogue Moderators.

Video Call Troubleshooting

Lobby Mode Annoyance
There's a chance that a shitter may spam join requests, blocking the small part of the screen with the unremovable window. Use one of the following solutions below:

  • Click the Participants button in your control bar to temporarily move the window to the participant list sidebar.
  • Turn off the Lobby Mode and only share the password with trusted users through the chat room or PM.
    • Do the Call Password Technique to reduce the annoyance even further.

Free Call Control
Because there's no auto-delete function or owner identification for video calls, they can be easily retaken. See the examples below:

  • If the call's empty, the first person to join will become a moderator.
  • If the call's full and the last moderator leaves, then one of the users will become a moderator.
  • If you leave the call while other moderators are present, you'll lose the moderator right instead.

So be careful not to accidentally close on your own call when other moderators or users are present. Start another if your old call can't be obtained for shitty reasons.

Rogue Moderators
After promoting a user, you won't be able to remove their powers. You can't even protect yourself from being kicked out of your own call. Pajeet coding at its finest.

The solution is to be as quick as fuck to kick them first before they kick you out. This is only possible if the rogue is retarded and slow. If the rogue is experienced, either start a new call and spam the invite link in the video chat, or annoy the rogue until your last click.

Video/Audio Share Exploit
There's an exploit that blocks others from sharing their POV streams. If the shitter's the first to share, the button grays out for everyone else, making it impossible for moderators to stop it and ruining everyone's time.

You can prevent this from happening by doing one of the following:

  • If the shitter is already doing it, simply kick the abuser (tedious).
  • A trusted moderator or user must share it first before anyone else, after which they can pause it.
  • Turn on the Lobby Mode, which allows you to more easily filter out obvious abusers.
  • Use the password, but be cautious when sharing it with users through the chat room, PM or outside this site.
    • Do the Call Password Technique to remove the shitters easily.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Happens If I Log Out or Delete the Cookies?

  • You'll lose everything. You won't recover your accounts regardless of how much you try.
  • The site appears to have no auto-delete function for logged-out guest accounts, so you can't reuse the same names anymore.
  • If you logged out by accident, you'll have to rely on modifying your name to enter, for example, anon1 instead of anon.
  • Unless your chat rooms are not in the Waiting List mode, you may be able to rejoin your chat rooms (untested).
  • Conference Calls are seemingly permanent; therefore, you may rejoin the call if you can remember their URLs.
