Meliala The Nun's Relationship Chart
OVERSEER ELITE SQUAD
Mika Mori
It was night time when the “Night of Lantern Bugs” event is starting. People from all places converse in a marketplace and making all sorts of ruckus. Meliala and Mika met each other on a busy road. They both looked each other up and down.
“Hmmm, The yellow nun. Are you here to ruin this fine day?” Mika smirks.
“Perhaps,” Meliala smirks back. “I hope you don’t have any plans for today.”
“I have a lot of plan for you.” Mika prepares her stance. “You have a lot to answer for and I shall be the one to bring you to justice!”
Meliala preps her gun. “I’d like to see you try, madam!”
They both share a giggle, anticipating for glorious combat. Just when they are about to start, the crowd started to cheer as all the glowing cicadas fly to the air and started illuminating the night sky with their yellow glow. The creatures seem to dance in the air, buzzing to and fro. Meliala and Mika both stop what they are about to do, which was a miracle that they stopped, they both stare in awe and gazed in amazement at the wonderful sight. Violence was averted that day.
I have met the woman and we have talked to each other pleasantly. We are very much alike. Like her, I have duties that I attend to with zeal and fervor. I wonder how she manages to keep herself in check while doing her job. Perhaps I should teach her some of my meditation rituals, perhaps she and I can duel, it would be fun.
Kaguya
Meliala approaches a pristine and well-maintained house, carrying a Bible and her holy water gun. She knocks on the door and Kaguya opens it. Meliala smiles while Kaguya looks gazes in curiosity.
“Greetings, little one, I am Meliala and I am a nun of the Christian faith, would you like to get to know about our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ?” Meliala says with delight.
“You look familiar, have I seen you from somewhere?” asks Kaguya. “Hold on, please stay there.” Kaguya returns inside the house, leaving Meliala to wait for her. She checks her wanted criminals list to confirm and there she sees Meliala’s name and smug smile on her picture. Kaguya grabs her Masamune and zooms back to the nun.
“My name is Kaguya and I’m an overseer.” Kaguya points her Masamune at the nun. “Meliala, member of the terrorist group led by Andrew Brunet, wanted for multiple counts of assault, murder, religious persecution and numerous other offenses... Miss, I’m sorry but I must ask that you put that water gun on the ground and come quietly to the Overseer station with me.”
“It is not an ordinary water gun, it is a holy water gun, from it flows the holy waters of Galilee.” Meliala groans in anger. “It seems that I am not welcome here.” she quickly backs off and turns around but she finds that the girl is right in front of her. “You’re fast.”
“Please surrender now and let me take you in. You have the right to remain silent.”
“Hah! Little girl, I’d like to see you try and take me in!”
Meliala jumps away as she sprays the ground with sticky holy water to entrap her opponent, but Kaguya deftly cuts through the thick goo while she zooms through it. Kaguya grabs her radio but it wasn’t there. “Damn it! Left it in the office.” Kaguya tries to catch up with Meliala. “Stop or I shall use force!”
“Help me brothers and sisters! Police brutality!” Meliala shouts as she calls for help from a group of bystanders, and the crowd teams up to try to block Kaguya, but she was so fast that she got through before the crowd could block her. Meliala runs through an alley and looks back and sees that her pursuer has disappeared, only to find the Masamune and Kaguya right in front of her face.
“Heh, you have fallen right into my trap!” Meliala whistles and a group of big, pale, and humanoid ghosts appears from the corner of Kaguya’s vision. Meliala cut her wrist and offered some blood to the spirits. “Spirit of the nether realm, assist me, and attack her!”
Just as quickly as the ghosts appeared and attacked Kaguya is when Meliala shoots a thick smokescreen from her holy water gun and runs away while Kaguya is busy with the ghosts.
Ah, it is a pleasant feeling seeing such a young girl taking on such responsibility. I remember when I was but a little girl, I was but a novice in the church, I was part of the children’s choir and became a lector for my local children’s group. Perhaps I can invite her to my church and tell her all about Christ, we can become good friends.
Aoi
She has doubts, sometimes I have my doubts too, but we must not let our judgement be clouded by doubt. We must stay resolute even in the face of chaos for there are many wolves that are waiting to pounce once you show weakness. Never compromise, not even in the face of armageddon. Never show weakness, not even in the face of chaos, always believe in the Lord’s might!
Lloyd the Purple Oni
Ha! She wishes to challenge the might of God! Well, I shall teach her a lesson. Why does an overseer hate us? I do not know. What I do know is that I am excited for the battle that we will have. By the Lord, I shall triumph!
Hana Matsumae
Meliala approaches a well-maintained house and knocks on the door. “Hello, anyone there?”
Hana stirs from her slumber near the door and hears the knocking but she dare not respond.
So Meliala keeps on knocking. “Hello? I am here to introduce you to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ? We offer free food, lodging, and the chance to network with a bustling and godly community.”
Hana jumps up and opens the door with haste. “Did you say free food?”
“Yes madam, we offer free food.”
“It seems this humble servant is free to serve for today’s events. I would like to request that you refrain from speaking of your god on the way there, as the busy streets may not be the best environment to fully imbibe your teachings.” Hana says but that is an impossible task for Meliala.
Hana accompanies the nun as they walk towards a car and the car speeds through the city.
“Hmm, pray tell, where was God when I was captured and made to suffer?” Hana bites as they sat in the car.
“God was with you, sister. He guided you and helped you, He delivered you from your enemies.” Meliala says as a matter of factly while Hana stares ahead with a poker face. Meliala then tells a story of a man named Job who was made to suffer under God’s permission.
“What kind of god would allow an innocent person to suffer for years on end in a foreign land?” Hana says with a poker face.
“You see, sister, Satan cannot bring physical destruction upon us unless it is by God’s permission. God has power over what Satan can and cannot do.” Meliala explains while Hana stares into nothing.
Meliala and Hana arrive at the church where they meet Andrew and a group of Christians.
“Greetings sister and welcome to the church.” said Andrew. “You must be hungry, please help yourself with the banquet.”
On one side of the church, there is a table with a banquet and Hana zooms towards it. There she ate and ate.
Meliala catches up to Hana. “I am proud of you for accompanying me. This is a first step to your evangelization and later I shall introduce you to the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Hana nods at the compliment while gorging on food. Meliala goes on a sermon about the Bible and how meeting Jesus Christ would change Hana’s life while Hana stares stoically. Most of it seems to go in one ear and out the other, not really listening to the nun.
A poor soul. She has suffered a lot but survived through God’s mercy. Of course, It was God who tested her and it was God who delivered her from her captors. Oh Lord, we thank thee that you would have mercy on those who needs it. I shall try my best to teach her everything about the Lord and I shall be her guiding light in this world or maybe Andrew can be her guiding light.
Perhaps I can help her track her former tormentors and execute them all while she helps me take them out that should help her on her recovery.
Jakunatori
A being that I would like to fight. I bet he can take a beating and ask for more. He has a heart of gold but can give a fight for a lifetime. Perhaps I could introduce him to the Lord by giving him food. Lord knows that we need more righteous hearts in this world, I for one wish to introduce him to my religion and maybe he can do more good and I can guide him to the path of good.
Mori Naoya
She is onto something, I just know it! Oh the heretics and sinners are always planning to do something bad but I just know that deep within that polished exterior of her is a rotten core. Mark my words. How did I know about this? God told me about all this! I was given divine intellect by God HIMSELF SO THAT I MIGHT CRUSH HIS ENEMIES IN MY FOOT AND SNUFF OUT CORRUPTION. Too bad everybody from Kaguya’s group doesn’t want to listen to me and I cannot execute her without having the whole overseer squad ganging at me.
Exorcists
Iku
Meliala approaches the door of a temple. She was sent there by Long Zhi Wen and told to look for “Healing Sages”
Meliala knocks on the temple door. “Hello, this is Meliala, would you like to hear about our Lord and savior Jesus Christ?”
Iku opens the door and looks at the nun. “Come in, come in.” Iku invites her in. There they both sit in front of a table opposite each other. Iku serves Meliala some tea.
“Either I can convert this pagan or she converts me.” Meliala thought. “Tis a battle that I shall gladly take”
“Might I ask why you come here today, madam?” Iku inquires.
“I am here to find ‘healing sages’ as a friend of mine told me to look for them here.” Meliala quickly grabs her teacup and glares at Iku, her hands shaking with rage.
“Hmmm.” Iku calmly sips on her tea. “I am one of those healing sages. Pray tell, what assistance might I-”
“Your blasphemous deeds against the Lord shall not go unpunished, pagan!” Meliala loudly takes a sip as she throws an accusatory glare at Iku. “You shall convert to Christianity or I shall call the wrath of the Heavens upon you!”
“I have read about your god before.” Iku softly takes a bite on a bread and gently sips on her tea. “Aggressive conversion only brings false or fickle people into your faith.”
Meliala aggressively sips on her tea, making a loud slurping noise. “Nonsense! We must spread the word of God to every corners of this forsaken world! A pagan will not understand my duty.” Meliala bumps her fist on the table.
“Without condemning or condoning, I understand.” Iku closes her eyes as she sips on her tea.
Meliala readies and aims her gun at Iku. “Repent or I shall make you!”
“Will Andrew appreciate that you just fired on a non-combatant?” Iku tilts her head.
“Bahh! Some day, pagan worshipper, you shall know GOD!” Meliala drops her teacup and leaves the temple.
“May you find the peace that you are looking for and may your efforts be fruitful.” Iku says as Meliala is leaving.
“I DON’T NEED YOUR CHARITY, HERETIC!” Meliala spits and runs away.
Only God can grant eternal life, not some pagan worshipper! She does acts of charity and benevolence which I have to begrudgingly agree is a good job done right but it’s all for naught if it’s not done under God’s will. I would have destroyed her profane temple but Andrew tells me not to because it will anger people and some people depend on her for her services. Bah! A pagan spared from my gun, I’d rather die!
Miko
Where did she get her immortality from? Why from demons, that’s where. I shall tell you this, suffer not the heretic to live for they are abominations to the Lord almighty! I shall tell you that she holds secrets of such sacrilegious nature that it will make you recoil in disgust.
Senguru-no-Sumire
Now where have I seen her before? Kitchona was it? Maybe a past life. Whatever, all that power stored in an untrained body, she will have the grace of a 3 legged elephant. She is all show and with no real experience in a real fight.
Waffu
Meliala approaches a random house. There she knocks. “Hello? Is anyone there?”
She peeps inside and sees the slumbering form of waffu on a comfy bed. “Hello! I am here to tell you about our Lord and savior! Open the door please.”
She waits for a little while but starts to bash the door with her fists that it seems like it would break from the force. Still, Waffu pretends to be asleep.
“I know you’re awake, sinner!” The nun shouts.
Something snaps inside Meliala and she aims hur gun at the door. Then she remembers Andrew’s words. “Evangelize peacefully, you’ll attract more bees with honey than vinegar.”
Through gritted teeth and an itching trigger finger, Meliala puts her gun down and slips a brochure underneath the door and leaves in anger.
Waffu stirs in annoyance, he told Andrew to take him off the list, Now it’s personal.
A coward will not last long in this world. Mark my words, he may abandon his comrades in a time of great peril. Do not trust a coward, I’d rather shoot him myself than to work with him.
Uriel
The sun shines on a jungle in Youdo. Meliala and Uriel meet each other while on the road. Meliala pauses as she greets the angel.
“Greetings!” said Meliala. “Would you like to hear about our Lord and savior Jesus Christ?”
Uriel pauses, the wind blows gently in this damp jungle. “Yes.... yes i’d love to. I have not heard His voice in so long. Is it time, then? Time to lay waste to the fallen world and build the new in its ashes?”
“I sense your doubts.” Meliala readies her gun. “You’re a troubled soul. Perhaps I can help you, maybe a duel may enlighten you?”
“I’d love that, have at thee, Melia-san!” Uriel brandishes his mighty sword.
Meliala peppers Uriel with bursts of holy water but Uriel deftly blocks each spout. As they fight, Meliala seems to enjoy the fight a little too much which Uriel notices. “Can you put aside your battle lust?” he jests.
“I don’t know, can you put on a shirt? It’s distracting.” Meliala bites back as she unleashes some more torrents of holy water from her gun which Uriel easily blocks.
Uriel pauses and Meliala notices. “Something in your mind?”
Uriel looks to the skies as he weeps. “I have lost things dear to me, corrupted by demonic influence, a fallen angel, cast away from Heaven, separated from my brethren. Yet I persist.”
Uriel adjusts his grip on his sword.“You faithful, one who still hears the word of God. You toil day and night. Even when the world hates you, you continue to do what God tells you to. Tiresome, yet you continue on. Why? Why do you go on? What is your purpose?”
Meliala shifts. “What you’re really asking is – what is yours?”
Meliala looks at the angel. “The truth is, for all my accomplishments in life, serving in the name of the Lord. In just a few short generations, my name would have been forgotten. Even the best of us cannot compete against time and death.”
Uriel grips his sword that his knuckles turn white. “Then why bother? Why does anyone keep going? Why don’t I just destroy everything?”
“You can find your own path in life. Find new friends, have new experiences, evolve and be better than yesterday.”
“What am I evolving into, what is my purpose, tell me!? Uriel shouts.
“There’s no way to tell and that’s the beauty of it.”
“I could just rebel against God?”
“We create our own purpose in life, now go create yours.” Meliala turns and walks away, leaving the angel to brood.
An angel from the Lord! Long have I desired to see a glimpse of Heaven. I am ecstatic, but what’s this? A lost angel? I can sense that his aura is corrupted but he possesses a pure and kind spirit. I like him, he is one of the few people who can keep up with me and I for one hunger for battle.
Majushin Ryouka
Meliala is allowed to enter a famous institute because she “convinced” the guards to let her in. She is told to look for a turtle shell in a room at the institute. There she meets Kenshin-senpai and she asks where to find Ryouka, after a long conversation and convincing, Kenshin told the nun to look for Ryouka around the shrine.
So Meliala goes there and sees Ryouka. ““Figures, my forebearers foretold of your arrival here.” Ryouka greets. “Welcome to the institute madam Meliala.”
“Greetings, Ryouka-san. I am here to tell you about the benevolence of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
“What for? I shall have you know that I am well versed in your religion and need no further knowledge.”
“Well, I was hoping that we might discuss about the Lord and maybe you can convert to Christianity.”
“Convert to your religion? That is quite a sensitive subject you have there. Pray enlighten me.”
“It is said in the book of John, chapter 6, verse 13-” Meliala starts before she gets cut by Ryouka.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have-” Ryouka interjects before the irritated Meliala cuts back.
“but have eternal life.” Meliala opens her Bible. “Believing in Jesus is the key to avoiding eternal destruction.”
“That is what’s said in your Bible as opposed to the Buddhist faith where they do not believe in a God but in higher beings they call devas.” Ryouka says as a matter of factly.
“Yes, but we are talking about the matter of being saved from Hell. These Buddhists do not believe in Jesus Christ and therefore will go to Hell.”
“That is according to your faith but the world is not all black and white. It is a kaleidoscope.”
And so they discussed about their faith like this for the rest of the evening. They had a lot of fun discussing about the different religions, Meliala’s strict adherence to her faith and Ryouka’s more open minded approach to faith.
“You are adjourned. Pray have yourself escorted out of here. Goodbye.” Ryouka then enters her turtle shell dimension.
Meliala knocks on the turtle shell. “Well if you don’t believe in the Lord then you will go to hell, would you like that? Draaahhh! Come out at once!”
Ryouka is a kindred soul. She is a good friend and I acknowledge that she is a very competent exorcist and we talked a lot about different kinds of religions present in Youdo and in the mortal world. Sometimes we would duel and while she is not as fast as I am, she still manages to keep up with me using her superior tactical prowess and her mastery over her many techniques. I find her to be a fun opponent that keeps me guessing what will happen next.
Hunter’s Lodge
Kaine Tsukikage
A perfect woman. She can kill her enemies in beautiful carnage and has the skills to cook you a nice meal afterwards. We fought once and it was one of the best fun that I had that day then she prepared me a nice meal afterwards. She may be a pagan but she is a good woman. Hmmm, perhaps I can introduce her to my religion.
John Berserker Thomas
He once bumped into me while I was eating ice cream during one of my pilgrimage. Something about his aura triggers my fight or flight. I just want to shoot the hell out of him. So we fought and he gave quite a fight, it was fun.
On a remote village in the border wilds, there the nun walked and she came upon a beastly man. They both crossed paths but Meliala sees that John walks with a boisterous aura about him which made her blood boil. The nun grabbed John by his collars and confronted him about his cockiness.
“Are we gonna have a problem?” Shouts Meliala.
“Probably?” John smirks.
“You and me, fight now!” Meliala shoves the man away but he was so big that he barely budged. So they fight, John may not be as fast as Meliala but he sure is damn tanky. He basically just tanks Meliala’s attacks while Meliala tries to keep her distance. They only stopped fighting when the two were spent.
Toshiko
She is a squishy girl that I can easily squish, not even worthy of a duel. She is also a barbaric pagan. She is just like John, but her aura is a lot tamer than his.
Distorted Mirage
Different from her fellows in that she possess great cunningness and is not as simple minded as the others. Something about her just makes me uneasy, as if I just wish to shoot the hell out of her.
Tie Dao
Meliala approaches a shack somewhere in the border wilds. She makes a sign of the cross as she knocks on the door.
The door opens and Dao greets the nun. “Greetings sister, it’s good to see you in such a place.” Dao smiles, confused at what she’d be doing at a shack in the border wild and invites her in for a meal.
“Greetings, brother.” Meliala says. “I am here to introduce you to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.”
They both went to Dao’s kitchen and they both sat. Dao offered the nun some of his delicious home-cooked meal.
“Let us pray before we eat.” Meliala says and they both prayed. Dao summoned all his patience to not immediately gorge on food. It was a short prayer but to Dao it felt like an hour. They both eat, Dao tries his best to contain his hunger in front of the nun.
“How are you, brother? Are you well?” the nun inquires.
Dao finishes his food. “I’m carrying a heavy burden upon my shoulders, sister. A demon has possessed me. It hungers as a I hunger. Perhaps this is punishment from God?”
Meliala holds Dao’s hands tenderly. “Perhaps it is a punishment but worry not, brother, God is merciful. I shall tell you of a man named Job from the Bible.”
The nun opens her Bible and tells the story of Job. “You see, God doesn’t give us trials that we cannot overcome. The book of Job explores themes of suffering, faith, and the nature of God. Showing us that even in the face of immense hardship, we can trust in God’s sovereignty and wisdom.”
Dao ponders, confused, How could such a ‘benevolent’ God cause such suffering to a loyal and good man? He was about to question her some more when Meliala gave her a book about ‘Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.’
“Is it possible for me to be saved then?” he says.
“God saves those who repent and believe in him.” she says back.
“I shall teach you mindfulness exercises and meditation that might help you control your demon better.” she says.
“Control my demon better? Can you do that?” Dao inquires.
“Not exactly, I meant that you can control your urges better,” Meliala says and for the rest of the evening, she teaches Dao some mindfulness exercises.
Night comes and Meliala prepares to leave, “Do you need help finding your way back through the Border Wilds? I’m sure that you can handle yourself but you might get lost on the way.”
Meliala smiles, “Thank you, brother, I shall be delighted that you would accompany me. I thank you for the hospitality.”
He is just like me. While he hungers for food, I on the other hand hunger for battle! However, he lacks discipline and could cost him his life if he doesn’t know how to control his urges in battle. An unfortunate fellow, I pray that he finds salvation and freedom from his demon. Nothing is impossible as long as you believe in the Lord!
Crimson Iris Cult
Kyomi
Meliala hangs around in a random Kyomi chat group, shitposting.
Is that a cushioned chair? SLOTH!
Is that a waifu pillow? LUST!
Is that makeup? VANITY!
“She is a deceiver! Preying on men’s lust and stealing their money! With a following like that, she can convert many of her fans into devout Christians. It’s a shame that such power would fall into the wrong ha- Oh what is this?” Meliala sees an email notification in her computer one day and she opens it in curiosity.
The email read, “Do you wanna be a vtuber and do wholesome Christian sermon streams while playing wholesome video games like Doom?”
Meliala thought long and hard. “Hmmm, If I can have the same popularity as her then my evangilizing job shall be easy. OHOHOHOHOOHOH!”
So Meliala replies with a yes and asks to meet Kyomi. Then she meets a kyomi puppet in a random cafe in Youdo. Here, nobody knows Kyomi and Meliala so no one can bother them but Kyomi keeps on her livestream.
“Greetings chat! I am here in a random cafe with Meliala, she is a nun!” Kyomi says while holding a camera towards her and Meliala.
Meliala clears her throat. “So about this vtubing business of yours, how might one start them?”
“Well you would need...” Kyomi explains all that is needed for a successful stream, including her examples about rigs and how to manage a vtuber personality. “Oh, thank you for the ten, mister Ligma- heh, I will not fall for your tricks! Thank you for the ten though!”
Meliala offers her hand to shake with the Kyomi puppet. “It is a good thing to meet a diligent and popular worker of Christ!”
“Ahh, no I am not really a-” Kyomi says before she sees the subtle dark change in Meliala’s look. “Why of course, haha! We Christians must stick together!”
Meliala and Kyomi shake hands.
Ah she is a joy to be with, I feel like we are sisters. I was once a guess in one of her streams and gave joy to her audience. She recently invited me to become a vtoobeer which will allow me to amass a wider audience and preach to them. She is not great in combat but she is one resourceful woman.
Maihime Amajiro
Meliala approaches a shabby house and greets Maihime. “Greetings, would you like to get to know our Lord and savior Jesus Christ?” said Meliala.
Maihime pauses. “... we only worship everyone’s favorite fox goddess here. Sorry.”
“Kyomi?” The nun tilts her head in askance. “Kyomi is a living saint?” Meliala says then she thinks for a while. “I have heard that Catholics revere saints but they are all usually long gone and not alive.
Maihime nods. “Yes, madam. We praise Kyomi as a living god here.”
Meliala shakes her head. “Oh you Catholics and your idol worshipping. Carry on then, devout servant of the Lord! If you are so inclined, we offer free food and lodging for our esteemed believers.”
Meliala gives Maihime a brochure which she hesitantly accepts. “We also offer free food, livelihood programs, and the-”
“I have no interest in-wait, do they offer free booze?” Maihime is curious.
“Well, we have wine in our cellars.” Meliala offers.
“Count me in!”
Later in the Andrew’s church cellar. Maihime is helping herself to a dozen bottles of wine.
“These wine are all weak!” Maihime burps. “Don’t you have anything stronger?”
“You have dranked 5 bottles and you still want more?” Meliala sneers.
Andrew clears his throat. “Ephesians chapter 5, verse 18. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the spirit.”
“All right!” Meliala grabs Maihime by her collar like a cat. “You’ve drank more than enough”
“Wait! I’m still not satisfied!” Maihime thrashes in protest as Meliala drags her out of the church.
“Proverbs chapter 23, verses 20 to 21. Be not among drunkards or among gluttonous eaters of meat, for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and slumber will clothe them with rags.”
It is such a shame that such a promising woman be hindered and brought down by sin. I wonder how she even goes by with all of her vices and how Kyomi tolerates her. Her life is destroyed by sin and gluttony, perhaps Kyomi is sympathetic to her plight.
Yahata Mercenary Corps
Hayato Taida
I have met him and tried to evangelize him but he just gave me a leer and a lecherous comment. He is a pig, you don’t need telepathy to know what he is thinking about everytime. I wonder how a lazy man could ever be useful in a mission. Still I hunger for him... For battle with him, I mean. I have heard of his legendary sword skills and wish to test him in glorious battle. It will be so much fun.
Ootori Tsugumi
Meliala is in front of Tsugumi’s house. They just finished a duel with each other and tested each other’s skills.
Meliala passes Tsugumi a copy of the Bible. “Here, it’s an original copy. May it guide you to Christ as it has guided me.” Meliala says.
“Oh thank you, sister!” Tsugumi smugly looks at Meliala. “Say I have noticed when we fought that you have quite the anger in you. Does it not say in your Bible that when anger is allowed to boil over without restraint then it becomes sin? Are you aware that you might be committing sin?”
Meliala is taken aback. “I am fully aware that I commit sin on the regular and that is why I frequently ask God for forgiveness.”
Tsugumi shifts, pointing an accusatory finger. “Does it not say in the Bible that wrath is one of the seven deadly sins?”
Meliala musters all the patience in the world and it takes all her will not to just shoot Tsugumi but Tsugumi sees through it which made her giggle. “And does your Bible not mention that ‘thou shalt not kill’?” Tsugumi prods and pokes at Meliala about how the nun carries herself.
“I have killed only heretics, criminals, and sinners, which I am sure that my God will allow me to do.” Meliala’s hands drift over to her gun.
“You know for a nun, you sure do have a very violent personality.” Tsugumi says and something snapped inside Meliala.
“Ungrateful heretic!” Meliala snaps. “Convert or I shall make you convert!”
Tsugumi just closes the door in front of Meliala’s face.
“Open the damn door or else!” Meliala screams.
“I’ll call my master if you don’t leave me alone!” Tsugumi says and Meliala leaves. A day passes and Tsugumi makes kind donations to some honorable mikos, believing that it would wash away her bad karma.
Another one of those curious souls whom I just wish I could shoot. Why am I so angsty against such people? Why, just the way they carry themselves and I don’t like how they walk, don’t like how they talk, I just want to disintegrate their faces like chalk. Not as fast as I am but she manages to keep up with me through sheer talent. I had a lot of fun fighting her.
Hajun
Ah, the oathbreaker. The Judas Iscariot. There is just something with him that makes me want to shoot the hell out of him which I had to resist with great effort, no use in kicking someone who is already down. In this world, we all must carry our crosses and he carries his cross with great sorrow. He deserves it for betraying his friend.
His story stands as a sober warning for all time, but even God may forgive him, FALL ON YOUR KNEES AND ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS!
I once fought him on a rooftop and he was built like a tank who can just shrug even my strongest waters. I had so much fun fighting him that I think we’ll get along well with each other if given the chance. He’s probably one of the few who has managed to make me use my angel summons.
Faisal
In a random town in Youdo, Faisal is preaching. The crowds seem to listen intently at her, but some seem to want to attack her. Meliala happens to be passing by and she hears Faisal’s preachings and seeing Faisal’s face just makes her blood boil.
“You who worship false gods and spread their perverse teachings! There is only one true GOD! Stop with this madness or I shall end you and your believers.” Meliala shouts as she powers through the crowd.
Faisal stops her preaching to turn to Meliala. “And what would you do about it? Lecture me?”
“What say you we settle this with a fight? If I win, I get to preach to these people.”
“And if I win?” Faisal readies her demon eye.
“You won’t win, this I promise heretic!” Meliala readies her gun. “I hope you’re ready, heretic.”
“When you are.” Faisal bites back.
Meliala shoots her gun but Faisal uses her “Demon’s Eye Possession” on Meliala and she screams in pain. Hellfire and maggots consume Meliala as she screams in agony. Meliala powers through the pain and shoots Faisal with her gun and the weight of all the sins and bad actions that Faisal has done comes back to haunt her as she is hit with a barrage of emotions and pain. Both combatants fall to their knees as they both cry from the pain.
Faisal and Meliala rush each other and they exchanged blows until they both tumble into the ground.
“The flames of Naraka shall consume you and I shall be your deliverer. All your sins set ablaze, foul Bible thumper!” Faisal says.
Meliala slaps Faisal back. “You blind fool! One day the rapture will come and you shall be left behind. Left to weep from all your hideous sins!”
Faisal slaps Meliala and says, “Do not speak to me of sin. I know it well, and words of submission are not enough to make it come unstuck from a soul. The sinful will be saved by nothing but a taste of what awaits. If still they do not repent, then let them be born cleansed in their next life.”
Meliala slaps Faisal back and she says, “God’s blessings are infinitely holy. Toilers of the Heavens, toil no longer. The Heavens pour to the mortal world and from it come the march of holy power! Your resistance? Nominal. The power of your faith is negligible! The prognosis of your wretched heresy shall be your end!”
“One day you shall meet your reck- ugh!” Faisal boasts but is cut short with a punch from Meliala. They both wrestle in the ground, exchanging hits and slaps while everyone just looks on. Meliala and Faisal both see that the bystanders are now carrying weapons and some police are there. They both help each other up and they stand shoulder to shoulder.
“What say you that we continue our fight after we have dealt with them?” Meliala says.
“We beat them up while we continue fighting!”
and so they both fought all the bystanders while fighting each other.
Another one of Hayato’s disciples, we seem to share the same zealousness.. There is something about her that makes me want to shoot her. Her tongue and personal aura doesn’t help. Every time i see her, I just want to shoot the hell out of her. This does not mean that I hate her though, I love fighting her since she can put out quite a fight. Even though she is not as fast as I am, she is still a deadly foe.
Shion
On my tour of the castle with Brunhilda, I met her once and I see a mercurial woman. One who makes me want to shoot her to oblivion. Something about the way she talks and walks just makes my blood boil. I fought her then and there. She was so fast that I can barely keep up with her, but her combat style is unrefined, basically inexperienced in actual combat. She won’t last long against an opponent like me! But I had to watch my step, She is not to be underestimated. One wrong move and it’s over. Fortunately, only amateurs make mistakes.
Brunhilda “Brunch” Berger
Meliala approaches a big castle, she knocks on the door. When the door opens, she is greeted by a blue penguin sort of creature.
“Guten tag, dood!” Brunhilda salutes. “It is nice to be seeing die nonne is even spreading His word in zis place. Aber I am unable to attend mass. Very sad, dood, ze state of being a slave.”
“Umm, guten tag, dood!” Meliala salutes in greeting. “Well we can send a priest to do home visits if you wish.”
“Vonderful! Visit us every Sunday. I am a devout follower of Jesus Christ!”
“I am sure that you are a devout Christian woman and have great faith in the Lord.”
“Come in! Come in, Fraulein!” Brunhilda beckons Meliala inside and they both enter the castle. “Ze master is away vut I am here to show you around und I am zure zat you vill enjoy it.”
Brunhilda shows Meliala around and gives her a tour of the castle. They would often stop in front of a painting and Brunhilda would explain the story behind a painting. In one particular painting, where Archangel Michael stomps on a demon.
“Zis is Archangel Michael stepping on Lucifer. It vas painted in ze 18th century by Mann Gogh.”
“Wonderful!” Meliala makes a sign of the cross. “Praise God!” and so they continued with the tour.
It brightens my heart to see devout Christians being well and good in this world. I shall try my best to help her. May she be a better woman in this life and may she spread love and kindness in this cruel world. Needless to say, I am proud to see her working an honest work. May she continue to serve the Lord through her work and may the Heavens protect her.
Redlight
Xana
First Corinthians, chapter 6, verses 9-10, “Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers.”
Andrew’s rival and for good reasons. She is the embodiement of sin. Under her rulership are various debaucheries and sins committed and propagated along with her lieutenants! I WILL SHOW TO THEE THE JUDGEMENT OF THE GREAT WHORE! There shall be no repenting for you, nor shall be there any mercy for you and your kind! O sinner behold - the final day! By my hand and the will of God, I shall purge her along with her brother. I shall not rest until I have finished my solemn duty.
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
Yamata no Mizuki
Meliala walks in a street full of bars, brothels, and gambling dens. The smell of debauchery and sex fills Meliala’s nose but she powers on and clings to Andrew’s lesson about Jesus where he taught that it is the sick who needs a doctor and not the healthy. So she must evangelize even when her whole being screams at her to just slay all the unbelievers.
Meliala knocks on the door and opens it. She is greeted by the smell of medicine and some other concoctions that she cannot place.
“Enter.” Yamata says. “How may I help you, sister?”
Meliala grips her gun that her knuckles turned white and she says through gritted teeth. “Greetings, Would you like to get to know about our Lord and savior Jesus Christ?”
“Not really the place that you should preach at, are you going to buy anything?” Yamata says.
“No, I am not one who participates in debauchery. I am here to tell you that you can still be saved through faith and avoid hell.”
“Get out. Now!” Yamata says coldly.
“Insolent heretic!” Meliala points her gun at Yamata.
Just as quickly, Yamata brandishes a vial, whatever it contains Meliala doesn’t know. “Are you so foolish as to assault me in my own home, nun?”
Meliala screams in anger. “GRAHH! Someday you shall meet your end, maybe not by my hands but by your own people.” Meliala leaves the shop.
There are many a truths in this world. You can’t stop crime, you can only control it. The Bible does not explicitly prohibit the use of illegal drugs, no mentions against its use. She does still harm people by providing those drugs and thus helps in the decay and debauchery of society and further hinders people from getting close to God.
Moros
Meliala walks in a sea of sin and debauchery but she powers through as everyone stares at the pristine nun. She goes inside a pretty, well-maintained brothel but the guard there says to leave her gun to ensure that she won’t cause any trouble. She hesitates through gritted teeth but ultimately gives the gun to the receiving clerk.
There she goes deeper into the brothel, through the doors she hears loud moaning and rhytmic thumping on the walls. It takes every bit of patience for her to not just start shooting everyone. She approaches a red door and knocks on it. She is let inside and there she sees Moros in bed with a few succubi women. He isn’t even wearing anything and the only thing keeping his modesty are the blankets.
“It is rare to see a nun here, but I’m not one to kink shame, so sure, come on in.” Moros says as the succubi women leer at Meliala.
Meliala clears her throat. “I am here to make you convert to Christianity. You have been a very bad sinner but if you turn away from your sins then Jesus can forgive you.”
Moros and his succubi harem laughed in unison. “Are you here to spank us? We’ve gone bad.” A red succubi jests.
“I’m afraid that your efforts are in vain, little nun.” Moros jests as he gets up from the bed with nothing saving Meliala’s eyes from his buff, naked body.
“Patience Meliala, remember what Andrew told you-what did Andrew tell me?” Meliala thought.
“When trying to evangelize to people, remember that you catch more bees with honey, you just have to...” Meliala thought and thought but she must have forgotten part of what Andrew said. “you just have to execute them all, EXECUTE THEM ALL!”
Meliala grins and points her palms at Moros. “Foul heretic, ye who protect and spread sin, I shall execute you today. Your wickedness ends here!”
“Now, now, there shall be no violence inside these walls. If you wish to fight then please do so outside.” Moros says.
Meliala sprays holy water on Moros with her palms but Moros just charges through the acidic water and she puts Meliala on a chokehold.
“I already warned you!” Moros laughs as he grabs the woman, drags her through the floor while Meliala shouts insults and curses like a sailor. Moros drags Meliala to the exit and throws her out of the building.
“Don’t come back until you are in a much more cooperative behavior.” Moros says as he throws Meliala her weapons back and closes the door.
Meliala bangs on the doors as bystanders watch at the angry nun. “Ungrateful, lecherous wretch! You shall find that reckoning will come for you and I shall be the one your persecutor! You and your sister are like cockroaches which I can crush with my heels, mark my words vermin!”
The authorities do not have much info on him but I know him. Xana’s brother and bodyguard and a very deadly foe. Under his watch, he committed many sinful and heretical acts. Taking Xana out would have been easy if not for him blocking my way.
I give no mercy, I give no ground. When I meet him again, it shall be in glorious battle and it shall end with me triumphant. With God as my witness, I shall prevail!
Fists of Aziz
Aziz
Meliala stands before a grand temple, there are heretics walking to and fro. There the heretics all stopped to look at the nun. It takes all her patience and will to control herself and not shoot everyone. Meliala closes her eyes, breathes in and out, and makes a sign of the cross. “All the things that I must do for my God.” She steps closer towards the doors of the temple and knocks on the door. “
The door opens and a woman peeks through the gap. Roach then sneers at her. “What do you want?”
Meliala clears her throat. “Greetings! Would you like to hear about our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ?”
A boisterous laugh echoes behind the woman and Aziz fully opens the door. “Tell Aziz, woman, where does your god hide?”
“Well he resides in Heaven you-”
Roach giggles. “Aziz-sama, perhaps we might need to entertain our guest.”
“A Christian nun?” Aziz smirks. “Aziz is delighted to meet a servant of the gods. Are you here to fight Aziz?”
“Umm no, not yet. I plan to convert you and to introduce you to the Lord and make you a believer.” Meliala musters all the patience in the world but Aziz sees through her.
Aziz giggles with mirth. “Are you so easily impressed by your saviour coming back from the dead? Aziz has produced a similar feat, and yet here he stands before you while your lord is nowhere to be seen. Perhaps it is because he knows that Aziz would prove to be stronger between them.”
“What insolence!” Meliala tries to step inside their house but Roach slams the door in front of her. “Open the damn door heretic!”
Meliala considers Aziz to be a heretic and a pagan god which she must destroy.
“I pray death never finds you and it shall grant you no rest. You shall toil day and night but never finish. Your people shall lament but you won’t get comfort nor mercy and all your sins set ablaze. Judgement shall come for you and I shall be your executioner. You are a pagan god and must remain bound to your torment!”
Roach-chan
She disgusts me, something abou the way she carries herself and how she talks just makes me wish I could purify the crap out of her. She is a very deadly foe and could strike at any moment. Still, her combat style is cowardly. Hiding inside someone and siphoning their aura has got to be a very cowardly way of fighting. She is as disgusting as she is a cockroach. However, if a mere cockroach can achieve such power then there is no excuse for me be a slacker and be weak. If she ever denies my evangelization attempts again then I shall execute her as is fitting for a heretic.
She is a cockroach and will outlive her master, I wonder how she will manage such revelation, it could break her spirit.
Blades of Christ
Andrew Brunet
It was night time in a random village in the Border Wilds. The thundering hooves of horses echo throughout the town as the villagers try to run away from the evil raiders. There were few survivors that night.
A few hours pass and two travelling pilgrims by the name of Meliala and Andrew happen to pass by the village. They hear the commotion and Andrew nods to Meliala, and she hurries towards the scene. There she sees that the rest of the survivors are being killed one by one by the criminals.
“Stop in the name of the Lord!” Meliala announces as she prepares her gun.
All the criminals look at them and one particularly big man comes out of the ruckus. “Heh, nice gun lady. Give it to me and I’ll let you live!”
All the men surround Andrew and Meliala and they all attack in unison. Andrew and Meliala are fighting the hardened criminals without breaking a sweat. Andrew seems to be resorting to just knocking out his enemies but Meliala doesn’t seem to pull her punches nor is she particularly gentle when using her gun to melt her enemies.
Andrew turns towards Meliala while continuing to fight. “Sister, these men must be brought to justice and be jailed for life, it is not on you to kill them.”
Meliala shoots a man and stops to stare back. “Men get arrested, dogs get put down.” she coldly replies.
Andrew shouts back while knocking out another man. “You have to stop and control your battle lust for just one moment and listen to me!”
As they fight, Andrew would block Meliala’s gun while eliminating the rest of the men, much to Meliala’s annoyance.
“Get out of the way! They must die!”
“No! These men need to know their sins and repent to the Lord.”
Just as quickly as they fought the criminals, all the remaining men kneeled on the ground and begging for mercy. “Please we will not fight anymore.” The leader said. “Just arrest us!”
Meliala points her gun at a man and he pleads for his life. “No! We surrender, please just take us in!”
Andrew steps in and tries to lower down Meliala’s gun. “They will not fight anymore, we have broken them. Now they must be sent to justice.”
“You don’t want to spare them, I understand but we must follow the law, and justice declares that they be put to prison.”
Meliala spits on the ground. “What you call compassion. Wanting to protect and understand the guilty, this rotting church, what it calls absolution. Wanting to redeem sinners and heretics, nothing short of compromise.”
Andrew firmly touches Meliala’s shoulders. “Is it a compromise to want criminals to turn over a new leaf and be followers of Christ? Remember that Jesus forgives.”
“Maybe He can and you can forgive, but to forgive is not something that I easily do.”
One man tries to run away and Meliala easily shoots the guy. “AHHHHH! It burns, Ahhh glrlgrlrglrglr.” The man screams in pain before he succumbs to his burns.
Andrew scratches his head in annoyance and he breathes in deeply.
Meliala cuts in before he can speak. “You saw what they did to these villagers. Such barbaric deeds deserve no mercy.”
The leader and last criminal tried to run away but Kaguya and her crew arrive to the scene and they knocked the man out.
“Greetings, esteemed father..... and-” Kaguya tries not to be angry. “Meliala.... I guess.”
“Greetings, servants of the law. It is good to see you come to our help.” Andrew gladly accepts the break.
“We appreciate that you helped in apprehending the criminals but we must still arrest you for killing some of them. Please come with us peacefully.”
“Alright, For once we shall try your way but if I ever see that heretic committing crimes again then I shall end him.” Meliala says and she sprays the area using her holy water gun and creates a thick fog around them and they both run away from Kaguya and her team with the help of some aggressive ghosts that came to her aid.
Andrew is a good man and is a good role model for all of his brothers and sisters. He sometimes remind me to temper my battlelust and while I do respect him, he sometimes places sympathy for those who do not deserve it. He has to realize that sometimes you have to be tough when it comes to evil and never let evil take root. He is too soft on criminals when they do not deserve any sympathy and when justice fails, you must be ready to take justice into your own hands.
Despite all these, we tend to go along well with each other and are actually good friends. I would help him with his sunday masses and remind him about things he forgets in the Bible. He could be a good candidate for a husband if I am to be frank.
Rising Star Temple
Long Zhi Wen
In Long’s Temple, Long is putting the final finishes on a holy water gun while Meliala stares in awe at her new weapon.
“You’re one hell of a gunsmith. Say perhaps you might like to get to know about our dear Lord Jesus Christ?”
“Some other time, for now, why don’t you test the gun out on a few dummies and we’ll see how it works.”
Meliala seems to be itching to test the gun. “I’ve got a better idea, let’s duel, the two of us duel!”
“Aha, well you see I am quite busy.”
“Are you scared of a woman, huh?”
“It’s not that, I quite like women.”
“Then why not accept my offer? It would be a show to see this gun of ours work its magic!”
Long thinks about an excuse to get the nun out of his hair. “I heard that Jesus of yours was seen somewhere in the city of spines. Maybe you can find Jesus, why don’t you go look for him there?
“Preposterous, Jesus is already in Heaven but if you say so then there might be a chance that he is really there. Thank you, you’re a good man, I shall leave you now and maybe we shall talk again some other day.”
Long sighs in relief that the duel is averted, not that he is afraid of such duel, its just that he is more interested in handling other matters.
The one who made my gun and yet there is something amiss with him. SOMETHING about him makes me want to shoot him but he has the charisma to make me forget what I should do. I should be careful with him, he may have made my gun but that doesn’t mean that I find him easy to talk to, for he seems to be a man with a storied past.
Qadistu
Okay she may have been blessed by a pagan god and given wonderful assets that I will admit are much better than mine, but there is no denying the rot and debauchery that she permeates. One can smell sin just by being near her.
Proverbs chapter 6, verses 25 to 26. “Do not desire her beauty in your heart, and do not let her capture you with her eyelashes; for the price of a prostitute is only a loaf of bread, but a married woman hunts down a precious life.”
Others
Shigure
Degenerate vermin! His degeneracy is akin to Xana’s but he seems to relish in the fact that people look down on him. Disgusting pervert like hayato. I pray that his sins come back to haunt him but I think that it would just make him happy. I once met him on the streets and tried to make him repent and find the Lord but he seemed to enjoy me insulting him.
Femurman
Meliala goes inside a shabby hotel and knocking on each door. Her mood has gone sour since most people just tell her to go away or yell curses. But when one door opened, she was ecstatic. Femurman opens the door for the nun.
Meliala smiles. “Hello mister, would you like to get to know about our Lord and savior?”
Femurman looks her over, pretty and cute, he thought. “Come on in,” he said.
“Oh thank you, lots os sinners don’t want to give me the time of day to hear such an important sermon,” Meliala enters the room.
“Uh huh, you want some orange juice?”
“Oh yes please, I am famished.”
Femurman gives her a glass of orange juice while they both sit in the living room. He just listens to her babbling about Christianity as he nods and says uh huh every now and then.
“Ephesians chapter 2, verse 8, for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”
“Yep.” Femurman keeps his attention on Meliala’s pretty features and face as she rambles on. “Gotcha.”
Meliala smiles and is all giddy, mistaking Femurman’s attitude as genuine attention. “I like your style, are all nuns as pretty as you are?” Femurman says.
“Well, umm, thanks?” Meliala stammeres a reply, taken aback.
“Maybe I should quit my work and just be a priest? That way I could get to be with you, my dear.” Femurman inches closer to the nun.
“Where do I find you, love? Got any socials?”
Meliala gathers all her patience to not start throwing punches and tries to evangelize gently as Andrew taught her. “Well you can find me on spiritchan. You can also find me at the church or on the other churches here!” she thinks of giving him a calling card but chose not to since she is weirded out by him.
“Gotcha, I wanna take you to places you’ve never been to. The sort that women as pretty as you are can only dream of seeing and then we can both eat dinner together.” Femurman sits beside Meliala which just made the woman disgusted at his advances.
Meliala punches him in the face but he doesn’t even budge. Her hands are in pain from the impact. “Insolent pervert! I should remove scoundrels like you!”
“I don’t want to hurt a pretty woman like you, please maybe we can settle this?”
“We can settle this in glorious combat!”
Meliala tries many times to hit Femurman with her fists but he just dodges all her blows. Minutes pass and Meliala is all spent.
“All right, heretic. You win this time!” Meliala storms out of his room.
“It was nice to meet you, sugar!” Femurman hollers.
Meliala peeps back inside. “Someday perverted heretic, you shall meet your match!” then she slams the door shut.
While he seems to be a good listener, there is just something about him that makes me want to shoot the hell out of him. I think he is like Hayato in terms of depravity but as Andrew said, “We must give people a chance to be good people. I for one, want to give him a good time, yes, we could duel. It shall be a glorious battle!
NAMELESS LORD OF FLAME
I STAND STRONG AGAINST THE MUTANT, THE HERETIC, THE ALIEN. I SHALL CRUSH YOU LIKE VERMIN!
Detective Hasu
It was a dark and stormy night and Meliala knocks on every door in a building, but all of them either just told her to go away, laughed at her, or shouted at her. She lost count on how many floors he has been to. On one door, she knocks into Hasu’s room.
“Come in!” Hasu says and the nun enters the room.
“Hello, would you like to hear about our Lord and savior?” Meliala huffed and puffed, her patience dwindling as her efforts so far have been met with failures.
“What is a nun doing in Devil's Moon?” thought Hasu.
“The Devil Moon isn’t a safe place for preachers.” said Hasu, as he stands up. “I thank you for your time, but I believe you should take your sermons elsewhere- you’ll find no willing ears around these parts. If you wish, I can be your guide until you find respite.”
“Hah!” Meliala scoffs and spits. “What do you take me for? A weakling? I shall have you know that I am a mighty warrior of God!”
“I did not mean it that way,” said Hasu. “I’m just saying that your efforts here will all be for naught for this place is a lost cause for such help.”
“If this city does not repent then let it burn in holy fire!” Meliala shoots Hasu, a shot that he narrowly dodges with an inch to his face. “You! Heretic, shall repent or I shall execute you!”
Hasu turns to shadow and quickly heads for the door behind Meliala. There Hasu runs away and Meliala gives chase. They end up on the wide, rickety balcony. It was raining hard outside and the floor was wet.
Just in front of Hasu he sees turn right and a puddle near it that could send anyone careening and fall to their death. Hasu covers the area to be just dark enough with his shadow.
“Kill her, make her slip and fall to her doom!” the voice whispered in Hasu’s ear as he turns the corner.
Meliala keeps running headlong into the danger that she doesn’t see and she steps on the wet puddle, immediately she slips, crashes through the barrier, and starts falling to her death. But before she falls to her doom, Hasu reaches out and grabs her hand.
“Tis a shame, I don’t need your aid, heretic!” said Meliala while dangling in the air. “All right, you get to live this one time butcher! Let me go now!”
“But you’ll fall to your death!”
“Better than let a heretic save me!”
Hasu hoists Meliala up and they both breathed a sigh of relief.
Meliala walks away, not even uttering a thank you, sputtering all sorts of curses. “Stinky, good for nothing, son of a whore, heretical scum...”
Hasu just scratches his head as Meliala leaves Devil Moon for good.
Another heretic who tries to save a sinking ship! He shall be purged along with his misled flock and I shall be his deliverer! There is no saving this city, it must burn like Sodom and Gomorrah!
Chitragupta Kumari
Meliala knocks on a pristine temple and Chitragupta lets her in due to her curiosity.
“Greetings,” Chitragupta says. “It’s well and good to meet a Christian for I have not had the chance to talk to people like you.”
Meliala and Chitragupta debated about the differences in their religion and each tried to convert the other to their ways.
“It is written that Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life,” said Meliala.
“We believe that we become saved through self-realization, karma, and detachment from the material world. One’s actions in this world determines our next life in reincarnation,” said Chitragupta.
“A heretical belief doesn’t belong in this world,” Meliala says as she points her gun at Chitragupta. “You and your ilk spread the beliefs of pagans and lead people astray!”
“What did you say, imbecile?” Chitragupta says in anger.
Meliala tries to shoot Chitragupta but suddenly, dozens of rabid spirits popped up behind Meliala. Chitragupta laughed, “Go ahead, Let’s see whose faster!”
It took all of Meliala’s will to not pull the trigger. “Draah!” Meliala stomped the floor, “Someday pagan, you shall meet your deserved end!” she leaves the place in anger.
There is something with her that just makes me want to just shoot her. I don’t know, something about the way she carries herself. She is spreading her false religion and even thinks that she is a personal messenger of her heretical god. There are many messengers of god but she is not of them.
Kenshin Go
Meliala travels through the Anahata district and lands upon Kenshin’s flat. There she knocks on the door and greeted by Kenshin.
“Greetings, I am a Christian nun by the name of Meliala,” Meliala says. “Would you like to get to know about our dear lord and savior?”
“Hmm..” Kenshin muses. “I was never really that religious one way or the other. I’m sorry but I can’t let you in since my flat is a mess.”
“That’s okay! We can do the talking here,” Meliala says.
“Let me ask you a question. What do you think about rock?”
“Well, I’m not one of those Christians who consider rock to be a devil’s music. Why do you ask mister?”
Kenshin smiles and relaxes, “It’s good to meet you then. I hate people who would hate a genre just because their religion says so.”
“You must be a very good musician then?”
“That I am madam,”
“Then play some tunes for me,” Meliala says.
Kenshin takes his guitar and plays some rock n roll music. “Do you believe in rock n’ roll? Can music save your mortal soul? And can you teach me how to dance real slow?”
After Kenshin plays a piece, Meliala invites him to her church. “Maybe you can come to my church and play some praise and worship songs?”
“It would be an honor to play for you, my friend.” Kenshin nods.
“Perfect I shall be expecting you then!” Meliala hands him a brochure with an address and Kenshin goes back to practicing American Pie.
He is a good man and a very good musician. I pray that he finds success and find what he is searching for. He went to Andrew’s church and played some good music. Everyone was impressed and welcomed him with open arms. We shall do everything we can to help him propagate his songs to a wider audience.
Yuki Yuri
Leviticus chapter 18, verse 22 states, “"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."
Her love for debauchery shall lead her to doom and despair! I fear it is too late for her and her mind and she must be eradicated in this world for she might spread her degeneracy. Repent or your soul shall be taken to hell, where all the lecherous and heretics are taken!
Logan Ace
Meliala approaches a Turtle home and knocks on it. “Hello? This is a Christian nun, anyone there?” said Meliala.
Logan comes out of his turtle shell to greet the nun. They exchanged pleasantries and Meliala tried to convert Logan to her religion.
“I’m sorry,” Logan says. “I’m busy with work and cannot join your church right now.”
“That’s fine, brother,” Meliala hands him a brochure with the address of Andrew’s church. “You can come to our church anytime you wish to.”
“I should like to chronicle your church’s escapades in a journal for the world to see, if that’s fine with you?”
“It shall be an honor,” said Meliala as she gives Logan some fruits. “I’ll be seeing you around then!”
What is he? A human or a spirit? He looks like a supernatural creature who has come alive. I tried to fight him before but he was fast. Just like the others, there is something about him that I wish to just shoot the hell out of. Still, he could be useful. I should hire his services and ask for his help when it comes to Aziz or Moros.
Madoka
Another one of these heretics that I has a very shootable face. She seems to be in the side of chaos. I think one must not underestimate ones opponent, lest it bring you ruin and failure. She possesses great cunning, intelect, and speed in combat, I am just glad that she is not an open enemy but she might harbor secrets that Andrew tries to hide. Let us hope that I am wrong with this and she is more in the side of good, i’d hate to add another to my long list of enemies.
NotRed
OHOHO! I would like to have our summons battle in glorious duel! My angel summons against his strongest spirit summons. It shall be so much fun!
Chi Shin’nou
If you believe and accept everything then your brain will just be filled with people’s shit. Someone once said that if it means everything, then it means nothing. Noble ideals can fill her mind just as well as Crooked ideals, but she might forget where she stands in her ideals.
Kogare
Granny is still seeking love even though her days have expired. Hah! Take notes everyone, this is why you should choose your husband wisely and to not be too picky or be too engrossed in your work that you miss what is truly important in life. He shall never lay a hand on Andrew!
Yoko
I don’t recall much from her, she seems to mind her own business and seems to blend in well with the crowd. Poor girl might need some help if she is to survive in Youdo.
Shukisame
SHUKISAME! I SWEAR BY MY HANDS THAT I SHALL BRING YOU TO JUSTICE AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES! YOU WHO WOULD DIRTY THE HOLINESS OF A PRIEST’S GARBS MUST PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE!
Kuiara
She is an evil woman that I must put to justice! Mark my words, all her sins shall come back to haunt her and I shall be her deliverer! Her schemes are as worse as Xana’s or the most evil of the demons. She will disrupt the fragile peace in Youdo and might even continue on with her evil deeds even in the afterlife. She must be stopped!
Xinlin
I don't like the woman and you should always trust your gut feeling. She may look pretty but I cannot deny that she gives me the creeps, I think someone needs to investigate her and perhaps Kaguya could do that.
dazai
What was once the fear of men, has been reduced to a mere butler. For his once superb performance in battle is now just a housekeeper. But one must not underestimate an enemy, lest it lead you to failure. YOU SHALL BE CRUSHED LIKE THE REST OF YOUR CRIMINAL KIN!
Iori
A woman of sin much like Xana herself. She is talented like Kaguya and can give off quite a fight. One must be careful when trying to fight her but FEAR NOT FOR THE LORD IS WITH YOU, JUST PRAY!
Lady Yor
OHOHOHOHO! Such a pathetic criminal that I am content to not give her the time of day. If she is against God then I SHALL CRUSH HER! WITH IMPUNITY! THERE SHALL BE NO MERCY FOR HER!
Isshin Hanamura
He always looks like someone beat him up badly. Well, you know what they say: 'There is no shame in defeat, so long as the spirit is unconquered'. He is not like me though with a very good win to lose ratio, I guarantee you that.
Shěn
I stand firm against the alien, the mutant, the heretic. I am FEAR, I AM DOOM. I SHALL BE YOUR JUDGE AND EXECUTIONER , HERETIC!
Maria
Hah! such feeble creature. Her own clan will be her own demise.
Yoichi
