anon was bleeding severely, trying and failing to stand as his ladies rival stood over him taunting, ”You blithering idiot, did you really think you could just storm in here and take on monsterkinds strongest warriors all by yourself?” the Monster walked stood in front of his own guard, oozing confidence. Perhaps it was foolish of anon, but he would do anything for his lady. As the Regal commander boasted, venom slipping off every word, “And for what. Loyalty, love? I bet you even think she loves you!”
When anon winced at his words the commander scoffed in disgusted disbelief, “You really do, how utterly pathetic. You know she’s manipulating you right?” He nudged one of his guards who was still sweating nervously at the presence of a human, however injured, “can you believe how stupid humans can be?” He started laughing pompously before commanding his guards, “it’s funny right? Why aren’t all of you laughing?” the guards each began nervously laughing as the commander walked circles around the human, “Come now human, you should be laughing too before you die, It’s the most hilarious thing I’ve heard all month!”
Anon looked down for a moment, watching his own blood drip, he wished more than anything he could see Kitsy one last time. He thought of her smug laugh, the way her words were always laced with unmatched confidence. She put the rest of them to shame.
”I know,” Anon said quietly. The commander stepped closer with a hand to his ear, his high and mighty demeanour unbroken
”I’m sorry, what was that? It almost sounded like you said ‘I know that she’s manipulating me, a pathetic and worthless human’”
Anon couldn’t find the strength to stand, he found a small mercy in that his lady couldn’t see him failing her now. His voice shaking he spoke a truth he’d known in his heart since he met her, “But I still love her”
Now even the commander was stunned for a moment, staring in disbelief. Through shrill laughter he mocked, “You love her, that harlot? Did you think that she would grace you with her affections? No, no this is perfect! Perhaps she would, no better than her whore of a mother!”

Anons soul flashed, causing the regal bastard to stagger backward as Anon stood up through his injuries.”Even if the sun will never rise on our love,” anon walked towards the embodiment of scum before him as he tried to drag himself backwards, he along with every guard in the room panicking as the man on the verge of death stood tall, bellowing the truth of his life to the cowards surrounding him, “Even if I’m but a tool, I will love my lady… until the day I die!
The commander knew nothing but terror in that moment as anon charged forward

Across the island smoke rose in the distance as the manor belonging to the greatest thorn in Kitsy’s side was engulfed in flame. Darkblade walked up the steps towards her with a sly grin across his face, snickering to himself as he spoke, “Well sis, it looks like your little ‘pet’ managed to pull it off! Not bad work if I do say so myself, personally I would have done it faster, and more painfully, but it’s not bad work for a human I guess.”
Kitsy felt strangely annoyed when he said ‘pet’. Odd, maybe it was just his tone. Regardless, her plan had worked flawlessly. Perhaps she could start thinking more… ambitiously, if Anon managed all of that then perhaps she hadn’t been thinking grandly enough. Kitsy started laughing smugly at the thought, she always was destined for greatness. “Do return soon my dear.” she said to herself, though as the words left her lips, her tone was softer than she intended. She found it difficult to think about her next plans, the excitement of things going so well must be getting to her.

Darkblade looked up at her confused, “Hey, sis… why are you crying, I thought you didn’t do that?”

she put a paw to her face, and found it wet. Voice barely above a whisper, “Strange, perhaps I’m not feeling well.” Dizzily she walked back inside, a strange shaking in her chest making her breaths uneven. She closed her bedroom door and laid down, ignoring darkblads further questions. She simply needed to regain her composure, if there’s a sickness that makes you cry then surely its a waste of time that she has no time for. She forced her eyes shut to dispell the tears, crying was a waste of time, it’s not like the dead can answer them after all. Even so, why did she feel like so terrible. As though She just lost something important.
