Higana Questionnaire
"I am Hanasaki Higana, and although I am still a long way from becoming a hero, I have already chosen Petal Protector as my alias." Her sole red orb scans the classroom, eagerly taking in every detail it can. She's sure that she can feel the promise in them begging to be released. It brings a serene smile to her face, her pleasure accentuated by her clasped hand being brought nigh. "This choice reflects both my Quirk's ability to manipulate flowers and my desire to ensure that all have the chance to bloom and reveal their true beauty. I look forward to growing alongside you all."
What is a hero to you? What drives you to be a hero? Are there any heroes that you look up to? If not, what are your criticisms of the world of heroes?
A hero is a shining beacon who nourishes all they touch with the light of hope. However, there are sparks of this light in all of us, and I wish to become a hero so that I may coax it out of those who wrongly believe that they, too, cannot become beacons. There are no heroes I favor over others, but I do not approve of those who look down on mutants or the quirkless. We are all given gifts; we only need proper care to express them.
How do you feel about certain homeroom teachers taking five-minute smoke breaks?
It is not my place to judge others for their cravings.
Which of your fellow classmates do you think you’ll get along with the best, and which do you think the worst? Don’t forget why! This will not change your seating arrangement.
I will strive to get along with each and every one of my peers. So many do not have someone who will accept them as they are and provide them with the love and care that is essential to us all—why should that be true for any of my classmates when I can be there for them?
How do you feel about your quirk? Do you enjoy using it? Do you dislike it? Is there anything about it you would change? What about fighting? How do you feel about fighting? With or without your quirk?
My Quirk is a blessing for which I am endlessly grateful. Using it is akin to walking; it is natural and even required for the health of the whole. My only wish is that we could treat using quirk as the inherent right they are.
I do not personally enjoy fighting, nor am I experienced, but I understand that it can be necessary. For others, I will learn to fight.
If you were to schedule your perfect day tomorrow, what would it look like?
Gardening with all my new friends all day would be wonderful. It would be difficult, but once all the work was done, we could rest and enjoy a picnic. What could be better than basking in each other's warmth while surrounded by nature? Perhaps I'm looking too far ahead, but I believe that this will happen. What would everyone like to plant? And what would you like to eat? I'll make all the preparations for when the day comes and I do know a little bit about cooking. I would love to have people to share this with.
What is your most cherished memory? Did you share it with others? Or was it in a moment of quiet introspection? How did it affect you as a person? Is it painful to look back on now?
The first time I used my quirk, of course. The feeling of being made whole is irreplaceable. There was some pain involved, but I've accepted it and am glad that it made me who I am. I now have the ability to help others become who they are meant to be, and there is nothing I would trade this for.
The writing is delicate and girlish. Perhaps even childish as the margins are decorated with doodles and even the main text features flowers used to dot her i's. The largest and most detailed of the doodles appears to depict Ryusei and the class on her "perfect day."
