Worker 710. Name: Nao Maho Igarashi. Age: 60. Position: Addiction Management Therapist.

An ex-patient of the facility who is now responsible for safely treating people's addictions. Originally born in California from Japanese parents, Nao was raised in a fairly normal upbringing with well meaning parents and life-long friends. He earned himself a good education and eventually landed a job at Sega when it was still in the early stages of its fame. The idea for what would become Sonic The Hedgehog was born out of him wanting to produce a movie that would play off the success of their rival company's own movie Super Mario. He has credited himself with the creation of Dr. Eggman and a variety of the enemies Sonic faces in throughout the story. When work for the second film began however, he started to lag behind on his work due to his vices.

At first it was some mild bad habits, gambling and drinking excessively was known to plague him during production. But then the vices developed into violent ones, at times hurling verbal abuse to the ones closest to him. When the release of the sequel came around, the violent habits approached into dangerous ones. Reports of missing animals in the general vicinity of where Nao lived from the release of the movie to his arrest are confirmed to be at ██. Eventually however the reports of missing animals changed to missing persons, nearly all of them within the range of 4-12. Before their disappearances, the children who were able to communicate to their parents said a strange man, wearing what appeared to be a mask depicting the skull of Sonic the Hedgehog, was visiting them in areas they frequently went to. He'd give them food and drinks free of charge and let them go to enjoy the food. Symptoms after eating the food included headaches, nausea, lack of physical coordination and decreasing eyesight, all symptoms of methanol poisoning. Eventually the children would disappear after being visited by the man again. Eventually on the day of 12/15/1992, the man in the skull mask was spotted attempting to steal a carriage containing a 6 month old infant. After being revealed as Nao Igarashi, police investigation of his residence found a total of ██ children buried in a shallow grave underneath his garden shed.

Nao was shortly admitted to the facility for Sociopathy and possible Delirium due to an incident in interrogation where he suddenly slipped into a conversation he reportedly had with a script writer in Sega about the development of Tails. Rehabilitation of the patient came slowly as he was unable to connect with the therapist he was assigned to but it came around eventually. As of now, he's currently the acting manager for patients with the affliction of addictions, having been someone who previously suffered from them himself. Any requests to be assigned as the therapist for Patient 004 or Patient 020 are to be denied, the former due to Nao's tendency to bring up the fact that Tails didn't exist in the original Sonic movie which has caused a regression in his rehabilitation and the latter due to the two coming to blows over the direction of the series. He is also not to be trusted.
