Worker 204. Name: Tom Age: 33 Position: Psychologist NOTICE: Tom is not to be confused with Tom Miller, who has since been "dismissed" on behalf of Mr. X, nor "Thomas Artwright", whom patient 196 has been mentioning and may or may not exist.

A psychologist who has diagnosed many of the facility's patients and is able to provide therapy if a scheduled therapist is currently unavailable. Tom (birthname: "Ted Costal") was born and raised in ████town, and lived a mostly normal life until one event from his upbringing that managed to gain news coverage (detailed below). He is known for appearing as somewhat simple-minded on the outside, having a fixation on things such as Disney cartoons and practical jokes. However, he has also shown himself to be incredibly shrewd and stoic at a moment's notice. Tom's upbringing is somewhat confusing, as while we do have records and evidence to back them up, he has told multiple workers and patients about his background, often contradicting both the truth and his prior statements about his past. As such, any comment about Tom's personal life is to be taken with skepticism. Thankfully, he has never been shown to lie about work-related issues as far as we are aware of.

On the night of 09/12/████, Tom had dipped his neighbors' pet cat, Scribbles, into hydrochloric acid. It is unknown how Tom had come into possession of hydrochloric acid, though it is theorized that it was related to COGS products. There were never any leads linking Tom to the crime, as he had managed to hide the polyethylene container in a spot his parents would never look. Tom instead told his friends about what he had done, who then told the ████ family and the local authorities. Mr. Ross Costal, father of Tom and a dance teacher, had hired his brother, ████████ Costal to defend Tom. Tom ended up getting off mostly free legally, although socially, he had become feared by the residents of ████town. Nicknamed "The Acid Bear". Tom was completely unphased during the whole ordeal, though it is assumed that he had changed his legal name from "Ted Costal" to the mononym "Tom" to avoid people recognising him by name. Tom later allegedly graduated from ████town Central College with a degree in psychology, although the legitimacy of his degree has been disputed. If management finds out that his qualifications are fraudulent, Tom's employment will be terminated immediately.

As stated prior, Tom has diagnosed many of the facility's patients, and has filled in for scheduled therapists when other matters have prevented them from being able to provide therapy sessions for patients. Despite Tom's peculiar interests, they have almost never slipped into his professional work. Tom always seems prepared for whatever may happen, with a noteable incident being when Patient 020 had attempted to attack him. Tom had seemingly knew exactly where Patient 020 would try to hit him, and managed to fend off his assault until security came to deal with the issue. However, Tom also has a few disciplinary issues. The most egregious being during a therapy session with Patient 093 when Mr. X was unavailable. It is not recorded what exactly Tom did or said during this session, as the recording has had many parts of it cut out, but it is believed that whatever Tom had done set 093 back considerably.
