Worker 036. Name: Mr. Mix Age: 57 Position: Head Chef of the Cafeteria

A former school teacher, teaching children both English language and cooking. Mr. Mix was somewhat dreaded by his students, as he was known to be strict, sometimes punishing students for making even the slightest of accidental noise. He was also a very hard man to please, telling some passing students that he wanted to flunk them due to their work not meeting his standards, but that the school would not be happy with him if he did so. Some parents thought that Mr. Mix was potentially dangerous to their children, as many of his students reported having Mr. Mix act in an inappropriate manner towards them, such as growling like a dog or saying threatening things towards them. Rumors have been spread that Mr. Mix may be a pedophile, although there are no signs pointing to this, as despite his strange behaviours, Mr. Mix never acted sexually towards any of his students.

During one cooking lesson, Mr. Mix had to deal with a student named Marie, a known troublemaker. Marie had purposefully failed her assignment, wasting her ingredients and laughing when Mr. Mix forced her to sit at the front. While she was sitting out, she had constantly been making noise by hitting the table, making sounds with her mouth, and trying to talk to her friends. After several minutes of disrupting the lesson, Mr. Mix snapped at the girl. His portly figure towered over her as he quietly, yet demandingly told the young girl to stop. At first, Marie did not at all take this seriously, but it was only after Mr. Mix put his hands on her wrists that she started to promise to be good. The girl's cries fell on deaf ears as Mr. Mix raised his voice, not to a shout, but noticeably louder than he had been before. Mr. Mix threatened to rip out the young girl's pigtails and toss her out of the window. Mr. Mix did neither, although he did end up breaking the girl's arms. Following the incident, Mr. Mix was immediately fired for gross misconduct and charges were pressed against him by Marie's family. Mr. Mix served 7 1/2 years in prison for the incident. Following his release, Mr. Mix had attempted to get his old job in the teaching field back, but was obviously denied. Mr. Mix then later applied to be a chef for the asylum.

Owing to his place in the asylum, Mr. Mix does not tend to interact with patients as much as other workers do, and his communication with other workers is minimal. In his own words: "I prefer a quiet work environment". The few instances he does interact with others outside of meetings, it is usually requesting them to be quiet in his presence. Mr. Mix's work is undoubtedly professional, although his demeanor is considered off-putting by both staff and patients who have seen him alike.
