Worker 005 Name: Mazin. Age: 46 Position: Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

A moderately successful member of the company Sega that made the decision to become a therapist for the facility. Joining the company in its heyday, Mazin's first assignment was to design and craft the landscapes that would be present in the spin-off movie for the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. As his work ended up becoming a necessary part of crafting the movie well-enough, he was asked to provide some VA lines to redub certain scenes for the lead character as the actor who portrayed him at the time was unavailable for reshoots due to being tied to the production of the third movie. Deciding to leave a fun mark for some people to spot, Mazin took it upon himself to leave an easter egg in the set in the form of a prominent TV screen within the background of the Stardust Speedway scene that depicted Sonic with his face subtly masked in, within a spotlight of a very dark shade of blue. While originally meant as nothing more than a fun easter egg, it ended up cementing his legacy within the company due to the appearance of the "demon" sonic.

Working for the company Sega on a variety of movies for close to two decades, Mazin began to wind down and look for an early retirement when the up rise of mental health cases surrounding the franchise he had first worked on took his interest. While he came in relatively late to the series of incidents surrounding the movies, some rudimentary research was done to discover a recurring trend of actors and workers alike suffering from bouts of madness that left most of them scarred for life. His findings eventually came to the discovery of the facility and the patients that had come here, along with the workers that housed and protected him. Taking it upon himself to come and talk to the patients personally, Mazin undertook a psychology course during his tenure at Sega before completing it and applying himself for a worker's position, which was granted once his grades and personal experiences were taken into consideration.

A kind and considering worker, Mazin usually takes it upon himself to personally work through the issues the patients he has been assigned to ask of him. Which tends to put him to blows with Worker 710 who prefers to a 'tough love' approach to the ones he treats. Mazin has a particular interest in speaking with the patients 039 and 074, although speaking to the former has him also comes to blows with Mr. X who sees himself as more than capable of handling the patient. Aside from those two workers, Mazin tends to get along well and has made some friends with the other workers of the facility. Most notably with Dr. Sabatos due to the two's mutual respect of their backgrounds and for their methods of treating patients, although Mazin does tend to scold Sabatos at times for the incident where he was allowed to take some of the patients outside. Mr X. has requested for Mazin to be reassigned to a new part of the facility citing an incident where he was caught leaving Mr X's office 10 minutes before he was due to enter for a work check-up. The request is currently pending, to be decided by the founder.
