It burns, you cannot see, but you can feel and it burns. You scream, a great cry that echoes in the room. You feel the artificial touch of plastic strike you on the bottom.
You breathe, the first gulp of air in your lungs, you struggle weakly, your tiny limbs weak and struggling in motion.
You continue crying, then you feel warmth.
"Shhhhh, don't cry...don't cry, mommy is here," a soft and deep voice soothes you, smooth hands cradle you. You stop crying as hard, you snuggle against this unknown warmth. You feel at ease.

-

You crawl, your stubby legs barely able to handle your weight. Your eyes affixed at the woman in front of you.
She is kneeling, her hands raised up with palms pointed towards you.
"Come ere! Come to mommy!" She coaxes you with her all-present gentle voice, she slowly crawls backwards even as you try to walk towards her.
"You're doing it! "she smiles as you walk for the first time, you giggle madly as you try to catch up with your mother.
You trip over yourself, face falling on the carpeted floor.
"Anon no!" she cries out in terror, scuttling quickly towards you.
Her look of worry disappears as you stare at her with a stupid grin on your face.
You're too happy to be bothered by the throbbing pain.
She cuddles you, soothing your bruise with her warmth

-
>You take a seat, you cannot breathe, your lungs paralyzed by despair
>You stare at her, she's immobilized on the hospital bed, tubes inserted in all of her orifices.
>You hold her hand, it's getting cold, the warmth you're so accustomed to fading away
>"You're here...you've come back to mommy," she croaks out, her voice is so weak, so hoarse.
>There are tears in her eyes.
>"I'm sorry...for leaving you." your heart collapses, distant memories fry your brain, overwhelming you.
>Mom...
>Your beautiful mother...
>Oh God...what happened to her...
