i firmly believe that all adult characters in hoyoverse games are at the minimum shippable with the mc, and i have my own reasoning for this:
the main source of income of hsr and genshin are people spending money on genesis crystals/oneiric shards to pull for characters, which is heavily influenced by emotional attachment. the easiest form of emotional attachment is simping, which can be caused by making (adult characters have somewhat romantically appealing scenes with the mc--who is a self-insert character, even if you dont see them as such.
clear examples of this include:
- ayaka winking at the traveler and telling them one of her secrets...as well as the whole "keep your eyes on me, traveler"
- xiao catching the traveler when they fell, and when he decided to join a group because of the travelers involvement
- firefly having an intimate moment with trailblazer, specifically when she told them about her entropy loss syndrome
- astra yao demo (specifically meant for astra yao x wise). yes im going to get hated by like 90% of hoyotwt for this but its HOYOTWT idc about those bigots
int:
pantheon fans. i cannot express how much i love this show and if youre okay with mild nudity (both sexual and non-sexual) and teenage pregnancy, i suggest you watch it! but keep in mind, the show is not centered around sexual content.
