A grinning girl with light brown pigtails. She's holding a cap on her head.

The Big Prompt Response Project

Blood Type

Haha, no one believes in that stuff anymore, right? I'm type O-negative, though. What's yours? (Thought so...)

Social Media

Sure! Do you wanna trade links?

She has the equivalent of a Line and whatever the current video sharing platform is. Her screenname is "süpərlüpər" and she rarely comments but when she does it's always something confusing. She follows anything that is immediately stimulating, preferring animal videos, video game clips for stuff she plays, and stunt shows. She also likes bits from comedy game shows but those are always popular in Japan.

Thoughts on Your Quirk

Definitely the best quirk in the world. Noooo question.

There might be stronger quirks out there, but none that she thinks are as cool or as dependable. It's part of her identity and the most-used tool in her personal toolkit. She can always count on herself, because a herself will be arriving any second now.

Recent Deeds of Heroism

Isn't that illegal? I'm only a freshman!

Favorite Pro

Do you promise not to laugh...? It's Compound! Did you see the one where he flew up to the side of a building and then the drone formation came in and--

It's unclear if KK knows that he's got bug features for real and it isn't a high tech suit that everyone is supposed to keep kayfabe about. She also talks about Santa being real with big winks. Regardless, she thinks he's stylish and that it's heroic to punch above your weight class. Having a powerful quirk is never as impressive as having a powerful spirit.

Most Potential Up-and-Comer

Me, duh. That's why I'm here, ha ha ha! That's why you're here, too, right?

KK's background is that she was a big fish in her little pond. No one in her family has a quirk as potent as hers, no one in her early school days could compare, and in her Kyoto neighborhood she never met anyone whose quirk she thought was better.

But she's not stuck up about it. She thinks anyone who wants to be a Hero is aiming to go beyond their limits, and there's no point in comparing anyone while they can still try again and exceed themselves. To put it morbidly, only the dead can be meaningfully compared.

What's your favorite snack?

Hmmm... I like sweet desserts. It's fun to try new kinds, so whatever I had last. Hey! I found this cafe near the school! Want to try it with me?

Jaywalk?

Cars can't hit me in a way that matters lol

KK does not have a healthy sense of risk. Somehow, she never thinks she's going to be the one to suffer the timeline before the correction loop becomes necessary. Teens are kind of like that in general but she's especially bad for it.

That being said, she's not suicidal or anything. She won't do something that has almost no chance of working, so she doesn't step directly in front of cars and usually has fine situational awareness.

Help Anyone?

Eh heh heh heh...! <knocks self on head and sticks out tongue>

Ultimate Move

Haven't really thought about it! They help us do stuff like that here, right?

The only ideas I have for KK's ultimate move are kind of derivative of Nart shadow clone stuff and I don't want to open that door. If anyone has any fun ideas, let me know?

So for ultimate moves, what about something like warping back in time along with an enemy ranged attack? She can take objects back with her, so in theory she could do something where an enemy lobs, I dunno, a big rock at her. In the moment she touches it, she turns back time such that the big rock comes hurdling out with the clone and smashes the villain in the face with their own future attack. You could call it "Recall - Reversal!" or something.

As a super move, it's also got some of that loneliness inherent to time travel characters. Everyone would only see KK suddenly summon a clone that BTFO's the villain near the start of the fight, unaware of all the struggle and risk that went into it. She'd need to get close enough to the villain for the attack to surprise them (no hiding 20 meters away behind cover), somehow get out of that situation without her quirk, and then survive long enough to bait out that perfect attack, knowing full well that her current self could be maimed or killed the moment she spawns into the next loop with the attack.

The struggles of no one knowing what you're going through... And since the main timeline KK isn't going through it, it'll be a fresh experience to her every time she goes for that move.

Thanks, Anons! That's perfect.

Do you have exceptional willpower?

Um. No. Do I need to?

KK is spontaneous and allergic to boredom. Her progress isn't found in putting nose to grindstone, it's in finding an easier way or in being really interested in the process. If she keeps seeing results she'll stay latched on to something longer than the average person, though.

On Night Parade

Who? I don't really watch the news.

Since they haven't done anything surface level in at least a year, it's out of sight and out of mind. Even if she's heard of any of the members individually before she might not make the connection to a gang of supervillains. You know who's hot right now? Wild Hunt. Scary!

Internships

Oh wow! Like, anybody? Even someone cool like Compound or someone in the Top Ten? Is there a list?

She'd take whoever asked first. It would be fun if it was an active build so there was an element of back and forth to the plotline. But it seems like it's weird for freshmen to do it at all and there was an exception made because that one particular class was ahead of the curve by a lot. In comparison, KK is a pretty normal kid who just has potential and right now her class is empty except for undefined faceless desk-fillers. So sad!

Heroic Future

I want to be the kind of hero where everyone goes "Wow is that Reset? Omigawd it is it's Reset!" And the hostages go "that's incredible it's really Reset could we be in a photo" and the mooks go "this is great I always wanted to meet Reset I'm so glad you're the one sending me to jail please sign my mugshot I'll never sell it" and the evildoer goes "Ah jeez I never thought it would be Reset I am sooo boned bleh" and dies but it's not my fault (legally).

She wants to be impressive always but I think she's more the type that's only impressive in bursts.

Coffee Order

Nothing bitter, with whipped cream and chocolate topping and maybe some nuts sprinkled on top and probably cold. Do you have something like that?

Base of Operation

You know it's funny, I haven't met my roommate yet... maybe we don't have any in the first year? But I'm in the dorms! Just over the ground floor.

She has a ridiculously beefy gaming set up with the high-backed chair and multiple monitors and everything. There's a smaller computer that just computes and displays financial data. Her super-cushy bed has way too many stuffed animals on it and some of them (on rotation so they don't get sad!) go in an overhead hammock when she sleeps in it. She has a bad habit of buying gimmicky hardware and it all goes on a shelf in transparent bins when she's bored of it.

Half of the room is totally empty.

Hobbies

Oh basically whatever keeps my hands busy! Do you game, by the way?

She like video games where her reflexes come into play. RTS and shooters, mostly. And she never cheats with her quirk because that wouldn't be fun anymore.

She also picks up hobbies and drops them when the novelty wears off. She can contact juggle, do some close-up magic tricks, speed-solve puzzle cubes (and bigger shapes), do card flourishes, and right now she's into origami.

Is she ballin'?

Shot callin'! Bumper fallin'... 20 inches crowded boppers still call me

No lol. She has killer reflexes and hand-eye coordination but doesn't even know the rules to basketball so everything would be learned and felt out the first time she played. She knows the poses you're supposed to do when you shoot a basket though, because she does them while yelling "SWISH!" while she throws trash in a bin.

Your Biggest Personality Flaw

I kinda... get swept away with stuff...

For someone with a time-oriented quirk she has a shockingly bad sense of time passing and doesn't manage her time well either. This can lead to her accidentally shirking things she intended to do, being late when other people are expecting her, or playing around too much when there's actually a looming time crunch. This is mostly for stuff that would be a personal issue for her. Active deadlines or a genuine crisis keep her attention and the problem lessens exponentially.

Your Greatest Strength

I'm fun!

KK keeps it light and tries to blow away the gloom. She likes to recruit people into the fun she's having and doesn't typically enjoy having fun at other people's expense. Everything can be made into a game if you try hard enough, and she finds it easy to smile and have hope when other people are overwhelmed.

Origin of Hero Name

It just describes what I do, doesn't it?

It seems like something that would work well in branding. Like in a commercial or whatever. I think it sounds good when said out loud.

"The time loop hero! Reee-set!"

Guilty Pleasure

lololol you ask funny questions sometimes. What makes a pleasure guilty?

KK is shameless.

Traditional Games

Yeah, sure! What're your favorites? Wanna play Egyptian Ratscrew?

She's willing to play whatever games with other people, even if she hasn't played them before or hasn't liked them in the past. Naturally, she loves games about reflexes the most, but she'd adore TTRPG games if someone introduced them to her because something is always happening in them.

Favorite Place

Oh, um. It's a little embarassing... I don't want to share that with you, sorry.

There's a kid's park she's emotionally attached to and she's basically now too old to go to it legitimately. It's in her neighborhood and holds a lot of memories for her. It's also where she decided she was going to be a Hero and nobody was going to stop her. She's gone back a few times recently at night to hang upside down from the monkey bars and think things through.

Lottery Winnings

My accountant can handle that for me.

She'd gamble it back into investments again. She doesn't even really care about the money itself, since she has no personal experience of financial insecurity or anything. It's all just a game of number-go-up that she occassionally uses for gifts to herself or to people that really need the boost.

Parent Relationships

Ma and Pops are great! They trust me and say they're proud of me all the time and stuff. My dad's a little embarassing but all dads are, right? That's what dads are for.

They're a little permissive but they also don't have to worry about a lot of the things most parents do. KK's parents feel like they lucked out in a major way with their daughter and have no interest in more children.

Quirk Origins

So, funny story...

KK's father has the quirk Editor, which lets him write memories directly to the brain in better-than-life detail. It only works on his own brain so mostly he's used it to make memorizing things trivial and maybe to zhuzh up some of his recollections here and there.

Her mother has the quirk Weal Or Woe which is a clairvoyant quirk that gives her a dependable idea of if she personally would think the outcome of an event was good or bad at a future point. She asks herself about the event in question and the emotional feeling she gets answers what the outcome will be. It has a wide applicability but is not precise. Still, it comes in handy when she's feeling indecisive or nervous.

「Déjà Vu」 manifested really early, when KK was barely 5 years old. Her mother found her playing with a copy of herself in the yard and almost had a fit. It seemed to be a pretty normal self-copy quirk at first, until the copy made an offhand comment one day that showed knowledge of the future. They didn't figure out the time element for a while: it was actually part of a quirk analysis that her father's colleague was performing when she was seven or so.

The copy appeared and got his attention and then handed him an object from her little fist. It turns out that it was a unique chachke he owned that he half-jokingly always thought he'd hand to himself to prove his identity if he ever time travelled. That the little girl had it and knew what it meant to him could only mean he had sent it to himself via the girl on a whim during the test.

He laughed pretty hard but KK didn't get the joke until he explained it to her dad. By the way - the little knicknack? It disappeared when the time copy did. There's no double of the doctor's time-travel proofer and 「Déjà Vu」 is not an infinite item glitch.

Greatest Fear

Like a... really really big snake, maybe. Building sized.

KK doesn't have anything that deserves to be an answer to this question. She would panic if a building sized snake came at her, though. Run around screaming and all that.

Changing Your Quirk

Ummmmm... maybe going forward and back however I want? But maybe that would go to my head... like Captain Blastica of the 31st Century......

She wouldn't want anyone else's quirk, ever. She's very happy with what it is and who it's made her.

Getting on Your Bad Side

If they cut people down and cut people off, that's no good! And if they only make a situation worse by being a downer and stop anyone else from feeling or doing or saying anything differently. Be in the dumps if you want, but don't drag anyone in there with you and try to make them stay! No one fixes anything when they're sitting around crying! At least get mad!

KK would see someone as an enemy if they're constantly trying to undermine her. Having a bad day is one thing, but if you're making yourself into her consistent antagonist then she's willing to oblige you.

And on Your Good Side

Oh, that's easy! Just join in!

KK acts to entertain herself but it's more than twice the fun when someone else is playing along. If someone will get silly with her, she thinks highly of them immediately. A friend is something a little bit higher than that, though.

To be friendly with anybody is easy. To be friends with someone is to make them better and stay by their side. She has high standards for what counts as a friend, and has some polite euphemisms for "I don't think of you as a real friend" like "yeah, we're buddies!" Or if they're entertaining, then "good-time pals!"

Core Motivation

Go big or go home, am I right?

It's not as simple as being your best self or having a fun time. KK wants to be completely sure that she's lived her life to the fullest and that she won't be burdened with regrets or wasted time when she's old and gray. Being a Hero is the big-time-ing-est you can be in this society, so she's going to do that and see how big of a Hero she can manage. She wants to have a long, pleasurable, exciting, celebrated life, and never have to repeat stories too many times because she's always living new ones.

Most Effective Insult

Hey, what's the deal? Are you trying to start something? Get a life!

To get under KK's skin you just have to describe how she's a burden or make her feel like she's worthless. She wouldn't believe you at first but persistence about it would scare her into thinking she just hasn't noticed that nobody likes her, since she remembers being annoying to other people plenty of times or overlooking things obvious to other kids.

Fighting Style

Put me in, coach! I'm ready to learn!

Genuinely it'll just be whatever the school ends up teaching her. Surprise attacks or body barriers from time clones will inevitably come into it. Because of her quick reflexes, she'll match or exceed moment to moment reactions with anyone who isn't boosted by their quirk, and even though she's an airhead she's definitely not a klutz. The only way to be in a one-on-one fight with Reset is to remove her quirk for longer than she can jump back from.

Personal Rituals

You mean, like, omikuji or something? The future's always changing, you know?

She calls her parents every weekend to let them know she's okay living on campus. For everything else, she likes to keep things spontaneous. Too much routine is stifling for her.

Mormon at the Door

Tactic one: pretend it's a knock-knock joke. Tactic two: try to get them to talk about something besides religion! Tactic three: pull out a card game! It's time to d-d-d-d-d'duel!

KK isn't religious or anything but she's also not interested in becoming religious either. Interrupting what she was up to just to preach at her is going to be unwelcome.

Different Career

No matter what everyone else calls it, I'm always going to be an Adventurer! No question about it!

She probably would end up in a financial firm where she can "work" remotely. All the top agencies probably have precogs on staff anyway. It would be like trying to be in stocks and not having computers to automate trades. KK can bust out the lingo and talk shop even though she's useless at math stuff otherwise and gets confused by too-complicated restaurant menus.

Rivals

If she were to get a rival or nemesis or anything like that, I'd prefer it to happen organically.

Quirk Side Effects

Nothing~ It's perfect, isn't it?~

Anything that happens in the pre-loop timeline kind of "doesn't count" for the KK that gets looped to. Unless she internalizes something that the looping KK conveys to her, she doesn't learn from those pre-loop experiences and never learns anything first-hand like the looping KK does.

It's also not entirely clear what happens to the looped KK. Nobody knows. Does she do the same ten minutes forever, no free will or novelty? Does she go crazy Groundhog-Day-ing on a ten minute timer, shooting alternate timelines off in every direction? Or does she just get erased by the Universe? KK never thinks about it. Even if someone tried to hurt her by explaining it to her, she'd think something like "yeah, but it's not me me" and move on. Which would be true... until it isn't.

Pockets & Bag

Phone! Keys! Train pass! Frag grenade! Hahaha, tricked yoouuu~

New Strategy or Skill

I'll wait further into the year to even start thinking about this. She'll probably need a ranged weapon at some point.

Team-Up Preferences

Only people who want to save the day!

KK'd want to be teamed up with people she hasn't worked with before, and after that people who cover her biggest weaknesses, and after that people who have the same mindset as her. She would abandon anybody who was basically just a Turncoat, and likely avoid anyone who fit the "getting on your bad side" description unless lives were on the line.

Superstitious?

Nope!

Yep. She thinks "lucky objects" are real, and she projects feelings onto familiar things she owns, such as her stuffed animals or a handheld game she hasn't used in a while. If she saw a broken umbrella crumpled in the corner of a bus stop, still dripping rain water, then she'd feel as bad as if she saw an injured kitten crying there. She might even tear up.

Party Behavior

Partying, duh!

She is a whirlwind in a party environment. KK wants to talk with everybody, dance with anybody, do party tricks and play party games. She's down to clown.

When Drunk

Uh, hello? I'm fifteen.

She would be herself but more so. If you thought she had no filter or restraint before then you know nothing.

Food Habits

So what's good here?

She can't cook for herself at all and would undercook or burn food most likely. KK's not generally picky, but avoids bitter things and seeks out sugary and starchy foods preferably. She'll do gimmicky food challenges if a restaurant has one.

Diary

As if.

Recounting life gets in the way of living it, right? She wouldn't be able to stand keeping a diary at all. Too routine and monotonous. The closest her personality could handle is a sketchbook but she's not really into drawing any more than other girls are. A shame! Popping back with a sketch would probably save some time for her looped intel.

Typical Schedule

Wake up with an alarm, do the school thing, pass out late. Fill the time with whatever!

Lost Quirk Forever

NOOOOOOOOO!

Live the rest of her life spending money more carefully, get a part time job to be less bored, and become well-versed in the nuances of the wistful sigh.

Favorite Genre

Eh hehehehe~

She likes horror. Not the really intellectual psychological horror either unless it's super tense. She likes schlock, splat-o-rama, slasher, monster, action-, or comedy- horror. It doesn't match with her usual image and it tends to shock people because she's so upbeat and positive otherwise. But it's about the thrill.

Meteor

Only 80% accuracy? Pft.

She gets swept up in whatever the biggest, flashiest thing going on is, as long as it's not like... a murder party or whatever. She's not suppressing dark urges in normal life and has nothing like that to unbottle in a doomsday scenario, but if it's one huge catharsis and last hoorah then that's something she'd get into.

She does not think the world is going to end. However, when it's ten minutes until the deadline, she does hold her breath and keep her eyes peeled....

Historical Figure

Oh, I know! The glowing baby!

She has no idea. Whatever first pops into her head, likely whatever got talked about most recently in history class.

Pizza Order

Thick crust, extra cheese, whatever sauce is there. I like anchovies! But we can put whatever on there, it's fine. It's still pizza!

Motto

Seize the day!

Streetfood

Watame, yaki imo, crepe, tomorokoshi, cheese taiyaki, oden... oooh I've made myself hungry...

Camping

Ha, I'd probably die. Cities, please!

Map

It's pretty normal I guess.

It's a nice neighborhood in Kyoto, and a deal swiped up by her mother. She hasn't had to move far to go to Shiketsu. She knows her immediate neighbors but only recognizes everyone else in the area as vaguely familiar.

Ringtone

Do you like it? It's my theme song!

KK commissioned a tune for herself from some musician on the internet. She sets it as the ringtone for everybody on her phone and has a different version of the same leitmotif to use as her wake-up alarm.

It's a little jazzy, very upbeat, and has a catchy melody - like video game music.

Pain Pain Go Away

Can I rewind out of it?

If it's something she can't undo then she just tries to distract herself. It's only when she can't deflect or mask up that she actually breaks and mopes around miserably.

Birthday

Mostly I spend it with my parents. Last year I also went out some people from my class! We went to Tokyo and saw a bunch of sights, sang karaoke, and ended up on a really early train back home. Hikikyo got in so much trouble, hahaha!

Trip

A field trip, huh? So probably no plane rides... Ah! I know! Isn't there that simulation arena? It used to be soooo popular. She had a name like a vampire. Do you know what I'm talking about? Ahhh it's on the tip of my tonnngue...!

Worst Deed

Um, no offense but... you first.

Some kid really annoyed her in a match she was playing, so she followed him around to trounce him over and over. When he went to do something else, she cyberstalked him, got that game too, and appeared with the same screenname to do it again while he freaked out and threatened her a bunch. On a hunch she checked quirkchan (where she never goes because it's radioactive) and found a thread where he was whining about it... and so she posted links to audio clips of him raging.

It became a meme.

She still thinks she went too far.

Saturday Night Drink

TWO THIRDS BEER AND ONE THIRD MILK
FROM A GOAT OR OF ITS ILK
GOES DOWN HARSH, IT ISN'T GOOD
MAKES YOU FEEL YOU'RE MADE OF WOOD
WHITE GILGAMESH, IT MAKES YOU SICK
ITS JUST TOO FOUL, IT'S JUST TOO THICK

Water.

Maid/Butler

Time traveling maid...? Where have I heard that before...?

She'd have to be followed around by someone and told to do things to make sure she didn't get distracted or wander off. She's not well organized, and gets bored easily, and can't cook. And she blurts out her thoughts, too. Just a terrible maid all around.

Favorite Food

She likes those hard fruit candies that you can suck on and roll around across your teeth for ages. And also the same sort of thing except they're painfully hot cinnamon flavor.

Voice and Karaoke

Here, I'll show you: <deep inhale>

KK's okay at singing. What she lacks in expertise she makes for in enthusiasm. She has a high, clear voice but not range like a trained vocalist would have. She's also not ashamed to sing to herself in public places and make up silly songs.

Children

I dunno, I don't think about stuff like that. I'll figure it out if it ever happens?

She'd be a bad mom. Probably one of those that pays someone else to raise her children. Parenthood requires too much stability from people. However, she'd be a really good aunt or mentor for a child.

Change Policy

Everyone gets a paid holiday NOT on a weekend for ONE DAY per month! Nationally guaranteed! No school, nobody works! And if the country would collapse if you didn't go in to work, then everyone forced to help out gets the next not-weekend day off instead and people are encouraged (not required) to thank them and maybe applaud. Follow your heart.
NO! MORE! KAROSHI!

Merchanise

Anything! Everything! That I approve of first, of course. I can't wait to have an Agency someday! There's going to be the cooooolest stuff. Hey, do you think I could get a video game?

Quirk Training

lol that sounds hard.

KK uses her quirk all the time. She expects the school to identify the ways she can improve and how she should accomplish that, but figures it will come intuitively from being put in new situations and having to get out of jams.

Fighting Game

Reset is a Puppeteer of course! She's lower power and has average mobility but also very small delays and recoveries. All of her normal combos have generous windows for action-cancelling as well. By spending Special early, you create time clones that have health pools proportional to the Special you used to buy them, and there's dangerous combos you can only use when you have a copy next to you or with an opponent between the two of you. She has a Special Grab that cancels an opponent's Special, but then drops it in the same spot a few seconds later. It can hit any character when it returns.

Her MAX Special makes the character you've been controlling into the looper, where you reset the match timer and opponent health bar. Your "puppet" becomes the past you, with a hidden full bar of HP, repeating all the same movements that you did for the whole first version of the match. It hits way harder than normal if you can force the opponent into its sequence but you can't create more puppets until it dies.

Her taunt is a sassy Ali-Shuffle-esque dance and cherry-tap damage 3-jab combo. It refills up to twice as much Special if all the 1-HP punches hit.

It's not a perfect depiction of how she actually works outside of the video game, but it gets the spirit and I think it would be fun to play if you liked fighting games.

50 Words of Breakfast

She woke up with a headache because she had been sleeping with her face to the pillow again. Bleary-eyed, the freshman KK tried to focus across the room. Yep. Still empty. She sat up and yawned, streching until her back popped.

After getting up and getting dressed, she kissed each stuffie in the overhead hammock on their forehead in apology for their night-time banishment, then put them gingerly back on her bedspread. She crossed to her desk and reached into a drawer without thinking, the other hand busy with powering up the computer. Sweet, chewy breakfast bars found their way to her mouth. The monitors flashed to colorful life.

Stonks.

{Going over is fine, right?}

Can you SHRED?!

Like you couldn't believe.

She's fine at it for someone who doesn't make a continuous hobby of it. She has solid balance and plenty of confidence so doesn't sabotage herself when getting around normally. Way better on in-line skates than on a board, where she can jump, grind, or wall-ride.

A couple times, a bleeding KK has appeared nearby to pluck her up off her wheels and frown at her. Gomen, gomen nasai~...

The Trolley Saga

Drekus Scenario 1

If her time-double appears, she follows their lead.
If her time-double doesn't appear, then she tries to derail the trolley with switching the tracks while it is passing the junction, since it seems like only the villain is on it.
If her time-double appears and doesn't know what to do either, she leaves the double to try the derailment plan and runs to try to free as many of the 5 people on the top track as she can.
If she is her time-double, she tells herself that the derailment got way more people hurt, and she tries to jump on the trolley and outmaneuver Drekus to stop the trolley from inside. The unlooped Reset pulls the lever to buy more time.

Drekus Scenario 2

If her time-double appears, she follows their lead.
If her time-double doesn't appear, she tries to contact somebody - Hero or not - to the situation. No way does she touch anything, because this just became a crime scene related to a serial murderer.

Drekus Scenario 3

H-huh? Can someone uh... do we get scratch paper? Hello? Where am I?

Ghoulie Grabber 1

When Reset wakes up and the fight happens, she loops back and tries to get the jump on Green Ghoulie herself. If she can't defeat him from ambush right away then she tries to stall for time waiting for Absolute Truth Man to help. He's #4! He's got to have some serious fighting chops!

Even if Green Ghoulie gets Reset 2 contained, his nerves are shot and maybe Absolute Truth Man can get the win without going KO himself. If not, a few more recursive loops ought to do it! He might be able to defeat KK, but can he defeat her over and over without knowing where she'll come from or when she'll arrive, and Absolute Truth Man too after that? Probably not!

After that Reset is in sidekick mode and everything becomes Absolute Truth Man's responsibility - for good or for ill. I hope he knows how to pilot a submarine.

Ghoulie Grabber 2

Without a quirk and with no gear, she'll have to try and escape normally. Luckily, Ghoulie Grabber has made that way easier, weakening the reinforced glass by putting a bunch of holes in it.

The lever had to be assembled here at the remote location so it stands to reason it would also be disassembled and she can just do that early. That gets her a lever with which to bludgeon a grip-point at the holes and lever the glass apart until it shatters under the tension.

If the Ghoulie Grabber tries to come stop her, he has to come into getting-beaten-with-a-stick range to do it! No way is she killing people just because she got kidnapped. Again.

Ghoulie Grabber 3

You left KK her quirk? You fool. This is going to get Looney Tunes and beyond. It's time for the ultimate trump card.

Reset loops back immediately, setting the absolute point she can reach back the ten minutes. Then she does whatever is possible in that time - menace the Grabber, scout the ship, search for reference materials, free her unconscious body, whatever. The unconscious past-self wakes. She's told that the moment lock-out ends, it's time for loop-packing.

KK goes pale with fear. But she nods. When the time comes, she loops back, less than a second after the first looper. There's now three Resets: the unconscious Prime Reset, the First Loop Reset, and the Second Loop Reset. Just being able to see the Second Loop Reset this soon puts First Loop Reset in a cold sweat. "It's not-" "It is. We're packing the loop."

They busy themselves as before. Ghoulie better get to killing children or else this is going to be the Star Trek Tribble episode. Loops build and incursions saturate the ten minute window, and then for as long after as the Resets can keep the chains unbroken. He's dealing with dozens of pissed off, overwhelmed teen girls. It's going to become a hostage scenario. They're going to be gulping down oxygen, after all. They're going to be dragging him down in a crowd crush. There's not going to be a centimeter of that space ship that a Reset hasn't seen.

So now it's your turn, Ghoulie Grabber.

You've been kidnapped by a massive number of copies of the same freshman Hero student. There's no telling what kind of damage the quirk overuse has done to her body... or her mind. Will you give her what she wants to save your sorry life? Is your willpower so unbreakable as to resist?

Have you ever had your broken body dumped at your own feet?

Every day somebody learns something new.

『............⥀............』

KK wakes up to a sweating Ghoulie Grabber fumbling to remove her from the trolley trap. "Hahaha! Just kidding! Nevermind all that! Yaaay space adventure y-yaaayyyy! L-let's-s-s go home now, h-ha ha? Sorry about the glue. So, so sorry."

The girl is confused but dry-mouthed and groggy. She doesn't resist since she doesn't seem to be in immediate danger. There's a heavy thunk, as if a large wet mass knocking slowly off a wall down the hallway.

"Wha'wuz that...?"

"NOTHING! N-nothing...! Let's just gooo to the landerrr Ha Ha Ha Ha!"

Prime Reset scrunches her face up and tries to force a smile onto her face. Her eyebrows knit together in concern. "Sure?"

Ghoulie Grabber turns himself in upon landing, begging on hands and knees to be extradited to somewhere else. But no matter how far he goes, he'll never be able to outrun the memory of that last Looped Reset. Whenever he tries to sleep he goes back to that place and time.

The Reset who had lost count of which one she was long, long ago. The one who was waiting with a quiet rage for her turn to be swallowed by Time and, hopefully, enter oblivion.

And worse, his own time double. Choking on his blood. Joints wrent and twisted. Bobbing in the microgravity. Silently pleading with bloodshot eyes that Ghoulie will make it so that this future would never happen.

Arcade habits

Ho ho oh! Time to release my power limiters...! Just kidding~

KK is a trve gamer, with all the vices that implies. Arcades are definitely her speed and she can get lost in trying to top a leaderboard. Her most favorite are lightgun cabinets, but the old school stick-and-button machines have a particular charm, too. If it's a fighter she hasn't played before, then she's quite bad at it, but once she plays a few matches and compares moveset lists then her dexterity and twitchiness start being a benefit instead.

If you want to see her get destroyed at arcade games make her do skeeball or the basketball machine, stuff like that. She'll want one more round, just one more, give her one more chance, but almost never improves.

KK celebrates when she wins but congratulates opponents (or machine-sama) on their power if she loses. She's there to have a good time, after all! The competitiveness in the moment is just because it's more fun if she's putting her all into it.

Normally, to play video games alone, she'll just stay home instead of having to walk somewhere else and get a bunch of tokens. She'd only visit an arcade by herself if it was close by, but she'll go across town if needed to answer a direct invite by someone else.

Uniform?

Don't you get in trouble for wearing a school uniform to something like an arcade? There's a change of clothes readily on campus, so even if going directly after school she'll go back to the dorms first to redress and then catch up.

Mental Health

Peachy keen! Thanks for asking!

While exuberant and a little dysfunctional at times, KK is mentally resilient and at peace with herself.

Voiceclaim

KK sounds like Aya Suzaki performing Mako Mankanshoku.

https://youtu.be/GaFJT1CJNQU?si=YQKBpIaiMhN1QGpA&t=1085

Her behavior is more grounded but she talks fast and high with sudden jumps in thought, just like this. On the rare occasions she acts serious and calm, it's a very sharp contrast, and has a bit of a kicked dog quality to it.

Bad Memories and Mr. Therapist

KK has very mundane bad memories. The kind of thing where you embarrass yourself and the memory comes up when you're torturing yourself before falling asleep. The most painful time she said something really dumb. Mostly, she's curious what Mr. Therapist would say is her worst memory.

Because they aren't load-bearing parts of her personality then she'd let him scrub it just to know what the sensation was like. Kind of like the sensation of tonguing the socket left behind when you lose a baby tooth, but psychical. There's a fascination to it, isn't there?

She's actually unlikely to get the other procedure, skill and memory implantation. That robs her of the experience of it and makes for bad stories, which goes against her entire life goal. What's the point in being good at something with no reason, no effort, no lessons or events... it's boring! At least when she juices the odds with doubling up then she's literally only helping herself with herself. It's all earned by her own actions.

Height

KK is 157cm tall.

Birthday

December 11th. She was born mid-morning.

Uno Reverse Card!

EVIL Reset [non-canon]

KK retains her desire to be "an adventurer" but without the optimism, cooperative spirit, and instinct to avoid having fun at other people's expense. She ends up trying to pull off big things just to make them possible: stealing what people consider impossible to take, killing people who are considered impossible to touch, going where people are incapable of reaching. Adding to her legend in order to have the biggest life possible.

Hurting people for its own sake or trying to stand at the top of a system of domination have no appeal because they're inflexible and boring. Doing something if you can't take credit for it is also a waste of effort.

Mundane Costume

A signature look, undoubtedly involving a red jacket.

Cultist

Greatness is its own virtue, without limits. Selfishly carefree. Differs from anarchy in that she doesn't care if other people are limited or sheep-like as long as she isn't.

Information Broker

Gotta know all the angles if you want to transgress them.

Sympathizers

Even though she gets her hands dirty, being maximally impressive gets you a fan-base regardless.

Internationally Wanted

Borders are just more limits to go beyond.

Nemesis

She has her own Inspector Zenigata.

S-Rank Threat

It is strictly true that she would be tricky to hold normally.

Skills

Peak Condition (Reflexes), Sleight of Hand, Sharpshooting (Handgun)

She never cultivates her instincts or insights, and lives instead moment-to-moment on the strength of her quirk and an ability to quick-draw. She also has no formal need of money and takes whatever she wants.

Replication

Self+Object+Others, Touch, Solid, Image, 1 copy, Short, same define/refinements

Precog

Self, 10 Min, Touch, High precision (define: only 1 possible future), Alarm, Cooldown

Being pushed beyond the limits also pushes her capabilities a little further, but not by much. And it's no fair doing something only in an alternate timeline.

Growing Up

KK's always been in Kyoto. She was born in a city hospital, grew up in a Kyoto neighborhood, went to Kyoto schools, and at most has been taken on vacations in the Kyoto, Tokyo, or Nagoya metro areas. The only ocean she's seen is Ise Bay, and the only time she's seen Mount Fuji is in paintings.

Her neighborhood is a very quiet, upscale area meant for family houses. Even though her parents are relatively well-off, not high-class wealthy but very far from being poor, their neighbors are more comfortable still and it's the kind of place where people don't socialize much between each other and privacy is kept at high value. As a result, KK turned to the internet and her primary school to socialize and ended up with very indoors hobbies and too much energy. While she has strong nostalgia for her family's home and the places immediately around it, there's no particular connection to the neighborhood itself and she'll admit that it's a boring (maybe even soulless?) place.

She's thinking of moving to Tokyo after high school, even though the Hero and Villain scene is packed there. It fits her theme better and it's a less sleepy place by far. As for leaving Japan, why would she want to? She'd have to learn a different language!

Gaming Club Character

KK goes by her typical handle: süpərlüpər. The umlauts make it feel extra exotic.

She definitely scanned her quirk but the system couldn't handle it so she was basically given Tracer's Recall ability from Overwatch. The difference being, it also extends existing cooldowns and status effects by three seconds -- including debuffs, which aren't dropped -- but refunds any items used in that span and cancels their effects. So it's a more precise rewind to three seconds ago.

She uses the class of the Sapper, which is a burst DPS that has a few explosives-based support skills, debuffs defensive stats, and can temporarily prevent some types of abilities from working. It has less damage potential over time than other DPS classes but boasts more flexibility and competitive nova output. Sappers are usually the best counter to an enemy Sapper's traps, too, though any of the broader umbrella of Rogue-type classes have some facility with that.

KK has a habit of dropping a fragile illusory double of herself when she uses her Recall, so it's less obvious when she does it, though the double only repeats the last action she was doing at the time and does only basic attack damage.

[süpərlüpər] makes heavy use of ranged weapons (braces of firearms if they're available, switching between crossbows if they're not) and has duel-wielded daggers as a backup. She's maxed out in speed at all times so there's minimized delay between KK's reflexive APM and the character's responses. Plus the movement speed increases fit her hit-and-run playstyle. The way she engages with combat in game is more similar to how a fighting game works than the typical math-check approaches of RPG veterans.

The character looks nothing like her. It's customized to look excessively pretty and elegant facially, and if the game has all the same sized hitboxes for characters then we'll just say there's a lot of maximized body sliders. If it's more precise, the avatar is as small as possible.
