Field Research: An Onobot's Visit to a Kindred Cult – After Report
Somewhere in the heart of the Retro Reich
„Welcome Gentlebots to today's meeting, we are gathered here to hear the report of RR-60 who just returned from his travels to the Kindred.“
„Ohh that was quick? Did you travel well?“
„Yes, I did, thank you very much. I sadly could not stay long since it seems the Cult is very well guarded when it comes to their secrets of successful breeding, but they did share some things with me and were very nice hosts.“
„Ohh what did you learn? How can we encourage our people to breed?“
„Well first off, what we thought to be the center of breeding is apparently only phase two of it. We have been missing a whole phase before it.“
„What?“
„Oh no, this changes everything!“
As RR-60 laid down this revelation, the gathered Onobots all were in an uproar. It wasn't until a carriage passed through the road the Onobots gathered on, and they had to move aside to give way, that they finally calmed down again.
„Now if everyone has calmed down, should I continue?“ RR-60 asked towards the rest of the Onomob.
„Yes, please continue, we must know more!“
„Well alright, so when it comes to phase one, it seems to involve a gathering of women first. They even have guards to safeguard the meeting.“
„How could we have overlooked this, humans must be very vulnerable while mating!“
„We should include mating duty as part of the guards shift, just to be sure.“
„That sounds reasonable, it should be well within budget to increase the guards to facilitate that.“
„But it's not just a meeting of any woman, the meeting seems to be for a bunch of pregnant woman to meet with a yet pregnant maiden so that the pregnant woman can tenderly rub the yet pregnant one.“
„Ohh? What could the reasoning behind this be?“
„Maybe it is like food where you tenderize the meat beforehand to make it absorb things better?“
„Or maybe they rub off some of their pregnancy onto the maiden?“
„There also exists a tattoo that apparently can enhance fertility.“
„Now this sounds vital, can you share the files about its design?“
„Sadly not, the Kindreds asked me to only share what I could provide as notes, so all files and recordings regarding the events sadly have to stay with me. Here are the notes regarding the tattoo however.“
The Onobots looked with anticipation as RR-60 was holding out some papers, on top of them was one with a badly scribbled piece of art barely resembling the true tattoo.
„This should do plenty. I will have the rune smiths of my workshops work on further research regarding these tattoos.“
„That sounds good. Regarding the main points, this is it. Please copy the notes and share it among the rest of the Bots.“
„Very well, I guess with this the meeting is finished. Anyone got anything else to say?“
As the Onobots all nodded to each other satisfied, RR-60 could not help but say one last thing.
„The Kindreds were really nice, I hope I can visit them again.“
„If they ever come to visit we should give them a warm welcome, we do owe them a debt for these revelations."
