Based in Limbo, a new cult on the rise that worships the "Harbringer of Purifying Light", a creature said to be the emissary of the end, manipulating hystory as it sees fit erasing the past and substituting its own. It was formed by a group of wandering vagrants that came across some strange ruins in the Border Wilds. The signs of destruction and residual energy awed the poor folks and gave them hope, they saw a message in the ruins, of destruction and salvation, of being freed from the oppression of the world. With time more down on their luck people started joining the vagrants that toured the Wilds and spirit worlds in search of more ruins and messages and the organization went from a small group to a proper cult.

With more people came the necessity of a base and gathering place, somewhere out of the way but that could access a wide area, hence Limbo. The cult stayed secret for a while, eventually establishing a more legitimate front as a "society" in a small shop. The members travel all over the world to gather even the slightest hint of information on the Harbringer, scouring ruins and temples alike. They have gatehred a great deal of secrets in the process, legendary techniques thought to be lost and hidden historyes, but consider most of them worthless as they don't reference what they believe in, some Flow and Phase techniques are treated with more regard because of similarities with what the Harbringer is said to use.

They are somewhat aware of the identity of the Harbringer, but they believe it to be a front, a mask to bide its time until the moment of final retribution. They believe it would be too disrespectful to make themselves known and that it may damage the cover so they follow from the shadows, keeping an eye on the semi mortal vessel and attempting to interpret the messages it sends. The Harbringer is said to be omniscient, so the cult is sure they are being guided by coded messages. The doctrine is narrated with uplifting terms like "guiding light" and "salvation" so most of the members are unaware of the fact that the cult is waiting for the "Purifying Light" to destroy the world and all opposition and rebuild it anew.

The members themseves are honestly quite weak, most lacking the talents and affinity to make use of even a small fraction of the secrets they hoard, and made mostly of the unfortunate and downthrodden, but are quite numerous. A widespread networks that specializes in being overlooked and gethering information, with a decentralized command chain made of several factions. The importance of each member depends on how well they are deemed to have interpreted the messages of the Harbringer.

Logan on his part is completely unaware of the fact a whole cult formed because of the aftermaths of his battles. The "divine messages" are missed shots, and "rewriting history" is him attempting to fix some of the ruins he broke by mistake, turns out he's not the best at ancient art. His tendency to ramble to himself became oracles and his gesticulation became sacred signs. He knows of the Society, as far as he's aware they are a new organization very adept at information gathering, but since they don't really hurt anyone he just considers them harmless and leaves them be. He is curious about the kind of secrets they have managed to gather and does plan to visit them and investigate them in more detail at some point but because of how harmless they seem it's very low on the priority list. His strange common sense makes them seem relatively normal, at least compared to other cult like organizations.

The Star's Relations

Overseers (Tollerated)

Annoyances to be avoided. The law can't protect those in need, and will not be able to resist the day of reckoning. They are to be made use of when needed, many enemies can be simply handed over, the right information can be used for that. Some members are potentially eligible for salvation due to The Harbringer paying attention to them.

Yatsukahagi (Neutral/good)

Unfortunate organization that will not survive the end times. Helping or hindering them would be meaningless at this point, the result in the long run would be the same. Special attention must be given to any oracle to the opposite, The Harbringer seems to be in contact with some of the important figues, more information is needed to decide if this has meaning or if it's just part of the mrtal disguise.

The Formless Path (Enemies)

Heretics worshipping a false prophet. It is unfortunate but convincing them would prove difficult. The Harbringer doesn't appear to have any hostility for the false prophet, but it must be just an attempt to reduce suspicion. Light with reveal all in the end, but attempting to save the misguided is part of our calling, eliminating the fake may be necessary for better results.

The Fist Of The Allmighty (Enemies)

Lunatics that follow a violent god. To be dealt with extreme prejudice, as they surely would deal with us. We cannot let The Light be disturbed by them any longer, war may be necessary. They may be more used to direct confrontations, so caution is necessary but The Light will surely guide us on the right path.

Flowing Water Sect (Good/opportunistic)

The neutral grounds make for a good place for information exchanges and surveilance. The Harbringer is very interested in the secrets held in the depths, it must be some history worth rewriting or great power to bestow upon us. The attempts at retrieval are so far unsuccessful, the outwardly pitiful approach must be a tactic to catch them off guard later and dodge suspicion, or a way to act as diversion for us. Being unable to capitalize on the great opportunities given to us up to now is a source of great shame, we must endeavour to read the signs better.
(There are no signs, Logan sometimes just decides to try stealing secrets for fun. He know it will not work, but it's a way to pass the time.)

Black Lotus Ltd. (Confusion)

This is the sort of creature that needs to be purified. It has been judged giulty, but since the Harbringer keeps it around instead of raining punishment it must still have a use. Surveilance is difficult, but not impossible. The interpreters are working hard to decipher what use this abomination may have, the information keeps accumulating, we may need more talents.
