Official Beat Saber Modding Wiki: https://bsmg.wiki/quest-modding.html

Step 0: If you already have Beat Saber installed, Uninstall Beat Saber, lets start fresh
Step 1: Enable developer mode on your Quest
Step 2: Using Rookie, Install Beat Saber

  • Step 2.1: In Rookie, go to Settings and Uncheck Delete Games after Download and Install. This way you will still have the game files if you need to reinstall or re-copy the OBB files
  • Step 2.2: The below versions of Beat Saber can all be modded.
Beat Saber v545+1.28.0 (Most mod support, but older version of the game)
    Beat Saber v1130+1.35.0
    Beat Saber v1238+1.37.0
  • Step 2.3: You can check which mods are available on the Beat Saber Mod Versions page

Step 3: Download QuestPatcher from the releases section of the linked Repo

  • Step 3.1: At this point you could also use MBF (ModsBeforeFriday) to patch your game instead of QuestPatcher

Step 4: Open QuestPatcher on your PC
Step 5: Select com.beatgames.beatsaber app if its not already selected
Step 6: Click "PATCH APP"
Step 7: Go to tools > Remove old BS Mod Directories
Step 8: Open Beat Saber on quest, accept everything and go to solo mode, skip tutorial, exit Beat Saber
Step 9: Download Custom Types 0.15.24 .QMOD file
Step 10: Download Core Mods Latest .QMOD file
Step 11: Install Custom Types.QMOD then install Core Mods Latest QMOD file via the custom mods section of quest patcher

Load Beat saber up and enjoy.

Installing other mods is possible, however unsupported by mod developers currently. Use at your own risk. Download and install mods from ComputerElite's Mod directory and install using this version of Quest patcher.

Step 12: Mods working, but DLC Missing? Re-copy the OBB folder!

  • Step 12.1: In Rookie, select "Copy OBB". Navigate to your Rookie Download of Beat Saber and select the com.beatgames.beatsaber folder
