get ready for some crazy person talk. i've loved peacemaker as a show since april, but i really started on that path by watching suicide squad on december 24 so.. who's to say when i became a fan? the gist is that i've been here before season 2. the content drought was real, guys. there was little to no content about peacemaker on tiktok. literally nobody edited the show, little to no fics on ao3, it was horrible all around. one thing i'll thank newgens for is the new content they brought.

here's the complex part: i can both understand two differing positions, that without these new fans being brought in by s2 releasing last year, i would never have these mountains of content, art and fics being produced about the show i love, and that i dont like the rise of fans who were brought in by s2 and claim to adore the man i love. this is not a jab at anyone, i'm just terribly possessive of him and the influx of people claiming to love him more just make me ill. again, it's a me thing; i legitimately avoid the fandom space except for an edit or two to feed on because of how much of a jealous person i am. i hold no ill will towards other selfshippers, but i will not interact with you in any capacity other than for my own needs.

third tangent: i have not seen season 2 yet, partly due to how busy i was and the things i've heard about adrian. i did not want to see his character be assassinated by the writers who just want to make him some comedic relief instead of an actual character with a motive and a life and EVERYTHING. yes, he might provide some funnies to the plot but please. he's his own person too. whenever i get around to watching season 2, I'll definitely write about it here.
