Temptation (Krofau)

Source: https://twitter.com/GlawSbSXpyTN7J9/status/1671075467552772097 They don't actually touch each other at all lmao

It was 7 am in Kronii’s hotel room. The warden was fast asleep under the covers of her bed. The only things one could hear in the room were the AC, her shifting around the bed and her occasional mumbling.

BZZZ-BZZZZ

The silence was broken by Kronii’s phone. It rang and vibrated on the nightstand trying its hardest to wake its owner up. Eventually, it stopped without a single response from Kronii. Peace returned to the room, albeit momentarily.

BZZZ-BZZZ-BZZZ

Kronii furrowed her brow and tried to turn away from the noise. It wasn’t an alarm; it was a phone call. It kept ringing until whoever was calling hung up. It only took a few seconds before Kronii’s phone rang once more.

“…Ughhhhhhhh…” Kronii grabbed her pillow and covered her ears with it. “I knew this would happen someday…”

Kronii could only tolerate the ringing a couple more times before her patience ran thin. “Ohhhhh my gooooddddddd…” She reached out to grab her phone. “Why did you betray me, Snorlax?” She grumbled before picking up. “…hey…”

“Good morning, Kronii!” A cheery voice called out, “Did you sleep well?”

“…KroMa?” Kronii’s voice was groggy, “What is it…?”

“What do you mean ‘what is it’?” Her manager sounded perplexed. “Oh, gosh…” She sighed, “Kronii, don’t tell me you forgot.”

“I’m going back to sleep.” Kronii didn’t want to deal with anything so early.

“We need you at the studio today!”

Kronii groaned after hearing such a loud voice. “No you don’t, I have to go out with Fau…” She got up once her brain started to work again. “Wait, what day is it?”

“It’s Tuesday, you have two recordings, dance practice and… two meetings?” KroMa suddenly started mumbling. “Unless more stuff comes up… But I’m pretty sure no one will get in the way today.”

Kronii made a confused face. “…What?”

“I’m waiting at the hotel lobby!” Her manager wasn’t going to explain herself.

“But it’s so early, man…” Kronii yawned.

“Kronii, don’t forget you agreed to this schedule so you could have both tomorrow and the next day off.” KroMa told her.

“Okay, how about we pretend I didn’t agree to anything?” Kronii slowly pulled the covers over herself. “I’m glad you called, good night.”

“…Kronii, do you want me to come up there and wake you up?” KroMa’s tone was serious, serious enough to make Kronii second-guess herself.

Kronii got up again and looked at the Kronii dakimakuras she was sleeping with. She had already shown them off to KroMa the other day, but she didn’t want to explain why she was sleeping with both of them. “No mom, I’m getting up.” She sighed.

“Take your time!” KroMa replied before hanging up.

Take your time, she says after using that voice…” Kronii rubbed her eyes and checked her phone. Thankfully, Pokemon Sleep didn’t crash during the call. “…Aaaaaaand not a single new pokemon, great.” She let her phone fall off her hand. “I’m in ultra and can’t even get a new sleep style… Whatever…”

A still-groggy Kronii got up and started getting ready. She clumsily made her bed and headed to the bathroom. “Wake up, Kronii…” She scratched her tummy and yawned some more before brushing her teeth. She went back to her room to get dressed and also grabbed an extra change of clothes for dance practice. “Why did it have to be dance practice day… At least I know the moves now.”

After putting on some makeup, she packed her bag and double checked to make sure she wasn’t forgetting anything.

“Hmmm…” She stared at a blue and green hairpin she had gotten as a gift. “Oh, shoot.” She quickly grabbed her phone. “I have to message Fauna.”

She stood around with her phone in hand before sighing again. She slowly typed out her message, then deleted it and started over.

Hey, kitten… She frowned. “What’s wrong with me?” She quickly deleted that, too.

Ouro Kronii: Hey Fauna, I’m really sorry but I forgot I have to go to the studio today. Are you still free tomorrow?

She closed her eyes as she pressed the send button. “Oh, god, I can’t even look—”

Her phone vibrated announcing Fauna’s response.

“Right, she actually wakes up early.” Kronii said while bracing herself to read her kirin’s message.

Ceres Fauna: Good morning, Kronii… It’s alright, I’m also free tomorrow … I’ll see you then…

“Oh no, she’s using ellipses.” Kronii winced in pain. “I’ll buy something before heading back to the hotel.”

Ouro Kronii: I promise I’ll make it up to you, okay?

Ceres Fauna: It’s fine…
Please take care and call me if anything comes up. Love you.

Kronii stared at her phone. “…Please send it…” She was waiting for Fauna to send her usual green heart, but after another moment, she realized wasn’t getting anything else.

“Man…” Kronii went back to getting ready with a heavy heart.

Kronii found KroMa waiting for her just as she said in the lobby. She was wearing the usual office outfit with a cute blue ribbon instead of a tie, courtesy of the Warden of Time herself. Kronii couldn’t help but notice how there wasn’t a single wrinkle in KroMa’s clothes. She made a smug smile, thinking her perfection had rubbed off on her manager.

“You sure took your time.” She smirked at the warden.

“You literally—” Kronii’s smile was short-lived. “Is there a taxi or should I call for one?”

“It’s already waiting for you, warden.” KroMa bowed and started leading Kronii to the exit.

“This feels weird.” Kronii had an apprehensive look on her face.

“Just the best treatment for someone who will do her best today!” KroMa winked at her. “Right?”

“…Ssssssssure.” Kronii looked away and walked past her manager. “Let’s… gooooo…!”

“You could at least pretend to be excited.” KroMa rolled her eyes. “You can have as much fun as you want on your date with Fauna after this.”

Kronii snapped at her. “It’s not a da—!" Kronii blushed after looking at KroMa’s smug face. “Whatever, man.”

The pair made their way to the taxi. The sun shone through the tall buildings surrounding the hotel, letting Kronii see the people as they walked around, some going to work, others walking their pets and a few simply making the most of the day by starting it early. In protest to the early birds, Kronii made the biggest yawn yet before getting into the cab.

The taxi started driving them to the office, but it didn’t take long until they ran into some traffic. Even that was within KroMa’s expectations. “Okay, so…” She pulled out Kronii’s schedule for the day. “We’re gonna start with a meeting.”

“Great…” Kronii leaned on the armrest next to the window, even more excited than before.

“It’ll be a quick one, I promise! We’re just going through some stuff about your music.” KroMa told her and moved on. “Then, there’s a recording which… shouldn’t take that long either?”

“Haha, yeah…” Kronii weakly smiled. “It’s like you’ve never seen us record.”

“What’s with all of you girls having to do sooooo many takes for just one line?” KroMa asked.

Kronii lifted her hand and took a breath as if she was smoking. “…You wouldn’t get it.”

“I guess not.” KroMa waved her hand as if to dissipate the smoke and went back to her phone. “I can’t tell the difference when you gals sound so good.”

“Awwww.” Kronii moved closer to KroMa and put her head on her shoulder. “You’re just saying that to get brownie points.”

“Uhhhhh…” KroMa looked to the side. “Not at all~.”

“Hey.” Kronii elbowed her.

“I meant it!” Her manager rubbed her side. “But really, this isn’t even the voice pack, just some lines for an ad.”

Suddenly, Kronii felt something shaking in her bag. A message? She thought. It’s still too early for the others… Unless Bae also has some work.

Kronii grabbed her phone and looked at the screen. She noticed Fauna had sent her a message.

Please don’t tell me she’s canceling tomorrow. She thought. Oh god, please don’t.

Fauna sent 2 messages. The first one read,

Ceres Fauna: I don’t want to get up…

The second one seemed to be a picture, but it was hidden.

Maybe she sent me the view from her hotel.

She tapped on the spoiler and—

“WHAT THE?!”

Kronii almost threw her phone from the surprise and quickly jumped away from KroMa. Thankfully, the taxi didn’t swerve from Kronii’s scream but she did get a pretty mean death stare from the driver.

“Huh?” Startled, KroMa looked at Kronii. “What happened?”

“Uh I, uh, um, nothing! I just, uhh…” Kronii buried her phone deep in her bag. “Bae sent me a… a spider! She sent me a picture of a spider to… wake me up!”

“A spider???” KroMa couldn’t believe what she heard. “Does sweet little Bae not believe in my skills to wake you up?”

“…Why is that the thing you have a problem wi— No! Of course not, haha!" Kronii faked a chuckle. “I’ll just… I’ll tell Bae that you don’t need her help!”

“Yeah, you better.” KroMa pouted. “She should focus on taking care of Mumei.”

“But aren’t you also Mumei’s… haha, yeah…” Kronii made an awkward smile. “She does have her hands full with that owl…”

The warden put her back against the door of the taxi so KroMa wouldn’t be able to see her phone, which just made KroMa more upset since she wanted to be close to Kronii.

Turning her attention back to her phone, Kronii’s heart started beating faster. Fauna had sent Kronii a selfie, something she'd do every now and then to show off a new outfit or to brag about Snail cuddling with her. This time, however, she sent something different.

Why would you do this to me? Kronii’s face turned red.

Fauna was holding the camera with her left hand while laying on her bed with Kronii's dakimakura in front of her. Her right arm was hugging the daki, pulling it down just enough to show Fauna’s body. She wasn't wearing anything besides her panties and her hand was barely covering her chest. Fauna had that smile she’d make to tempt Kronii to do whatever she wanted.

Kronii’s eyes burned Fauna’s picture to her memory. She stared and stared until she naturally ended up focusing on her own face. …Is that daki mine? She took a moment to count her collection in her head. No, I only brought two here. Where’d she get that one?

Kronii went back to her senses when the cab started moving again. She might have bought it, or stolen it, I’m just… I’m gonna ignore that photo.

Kronii finally wrote:

Kronii: You're so lucky you can stay in bed

Fauna: No, I'm gonna go out later. I want to get some clothes.

Kronii wasn’t sure if she should be upset over Fauna also ignoring her selfie or how she was going to get clothes without her. Maybe the kirin was just teasing her.

Kronii: Without me? :(

Fauna: I'm not the one who canceled!

The warden frowned.

Kronii: Wow, okay.

Fauna: But I may ask for help on what to choose…

Kronii perked up. She started thinking about what outfits she’d like Fauna to wear. More Jirai Kei clothes? Some dresses? Or maybe nothing at all, like in that pictu—

STOP! Kronii quickly snapped trying to erase that mental image.

“Did she send another spider?” KroMa asked her.

“No! Don’t… don’t worry about it.” Kronii put her hand on her forehead and sighed.

Kronii: A sundress is my main suggestion. Make sure to send pictures.

Kronii finally replied and put her phone in her bag.

Once they finally arrived at the office, KroMa quickly led Kronii to the meeting. While it was a short one as her manager said, Kronii still felt like 5 hours had passed. KroMa could almost see her warden’s soul leaving her body after she let out another deep sigh.

“Can I go now?” She asked.

“Kronii, we just started.” KroMa pinched the warden’s arm. “It’ll be over before you know it and you’ll be able to do whatever you want tomorrow!”

“Yeah, can’t wait to do…” Fauna’s picture flashed in Kronii’s head. “TOTALLY NOT DO THAT, GOD—” She slammed her hand against her face.

“That’s…” KroMa raised her eyebrow. “You know what? That’s none of my business, let’s keep going.”

“NO, NO, I DIDN’T MEAN… UGH!” Embarrassed, Kronii silently followed KroMa to their next destination.

Unfortunately, Kronii took way longer than her manager expected to finish recording. Something else happened while Kronii was getting ready to record. KroMa noticed Kronii staring at her phone after getting another notification. Little did she know a certain kirin continued sending pictures to Kronii.

“Kronii, we need you to focus for a bit.” KroMa advised her.

“I know, I know! Sorry…” Kronii rubbed her forehead. “I got it, don’t worry.”

She kept getting lines mixed up or she’d randomly start blushing and trip up her words. KroMa almost wanted to ask what was going on but decided not to, she believed Kronii would get over it.

After taking a deep breath, Kronii started over“…Take it easy, okay?” She said in a soft voice. “I don’t want you to get sick walkingaroundwithNOCLO— GOD! DAMMIT!"

KroMa’s eyes lost their shine. “Maybe I shouldn’t have booked so many things…”

Eventually, Kronii managed to finish her task. She got out of the recording booth with her brain overloaded, KroMa could even see spirals in her eyes.

“Are you okay?” KroMa reached out and touched Kronii’s forehead. She was sweating but she couldn’t feel a fever coming up.

“Never been better.” Kronii shakily replied. “What’s next? Dancing?”

“Not yet.” KroMa held Kronii’s hand, “Let’s eat something and take a little break, okay?”

“Uh, sure!” Kronii regained some composure. “I’d like some udon!”

“I know, I already ordered some.” KroMa began leading the warden to the break room. “You can take a small nap after eating, I’ll make sure to wake you up.”

Sniffle…” Kronii wiped a tear from her eyes. “You’re the best…”

“I know.”

Kronii could never tell if the break room was near or far away from the recording booth. It always depended on how tired she was after working. It seemed like KroMa picked a good time to take a break as no one else was around.

“No need to worry about anyone hearing you slurping.” KroMa told her as she set their food on the table.

Kronii gave her the side-eye. “I kinda want to take the compliment back.”

“I’ll take the udon back.” KroMa grabbed the bags.

“I’m not taking anything back, not at all!”

While Kronii happily ate her meal, she chatted with Fauna some more. The kirin had already left the hotel and met up with Mumei and IRyS. Kronii couldn’t help feeling just a little bit jealous after the owl and the devil sent some pictures to their group chat.

They were having lunch at a café together. The picture had Fauna sitting in the middle drinking some tea with IRyS and Mumei to her sides with some seriously smug smiles.

IRyS: A certain someone ditched this princess so we’re escorting her!

Kronii simply groaned.

Kronii: You better start counting your blessings.

Mumei: can you at least wait until after we're before you go and kill her?

IRyS: why is it a guarantee I'm going to die wha

Kronii: By the way, where's Bae?

Bae: have to do some stuff with Calli! I'll go out with Fauna another day!

Kronii: What a fast reply

Bae: :P

Suddenly, Kronii received another message from Fauna. Once again, the picture was hidden behind a spoiler. Kronii slowly raised her eyes and saw KroMa eating her food and writing more emails. Trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, she lowered her gaze and tapped on the picture.

It was another selfie, behind Fauna were IRyS and Mumei enjoying their meal. The top of the picture had Fauna’s face, but her eyes were cropped out. She had an even more smug smile than the other two combined. Kronii’s ears turned red as her eyes took in the rest of the picture. Fauna’s other hand was holding her unbuttoned blouse, fully revealing her bra.

Fauna: Don’t say a word!

How did she even take this picture without them noticing?! She thought while devouring the rest of her udon, spilling some of it on the table.

“Kronii, calm down.” KroMa wiped her cheek with a napkin. “I know you want to sleep but still.”

As much as she tried, Kronii could barely sleep thanks to a certain green-haired girl’s pictures clouding her mind. She turned away from KroMa so she wouldn’t make her worry even more.

“Did you sleep well?” KroMa asked Kronii while they made their way outside the office.

“Y-yeah!” Kronii pretended to rub her eyes. “I would’ve preferred if I had stayed asleep, though.”

“Oh, c’mon.” KroMa nudged her. “You just have dance practice left and you’re done!”

“Wooooo.” Kronii held her fist up.

They had to take another cab to get there. While KroMa was chatting with the dance instructor, Kronii went to the locker room.

“How did she manage to book me by myself…?” She asked while looking if anyone else was joining her for dance practice. “She can be scary sometimes…”

While changing, Kronii took a second to breathe. “I am so not okay.” She rubbed her eyes. “God, it’s… I guess it’s been a while since we went out together.” She glanced at her phone after putting on her crop top. “That’s still no reason to attack me like that, though.”

She grabbed her phone and tried writing another message for Fauna. “Hm.” She stopped herself from sending it. “She’s gonna send me another picture, I just know it.” Instead, Kronii decided to call her.

“…Hello?” Kronii heard the soft voice she knows and loves from her phone. “Kronii?”

“Hey, Fauna.” She responded.

“What’s up?” Fauna asked. “Did something happen?”

“No, nothing, I just—” Kronii sighed. “Just wanted to ask something…”

“You know you can ask me anything.”

After hearing her, Kronii covered half her face with her hand out of embarrassment.

“You know, I just wanna ask… Why?” It took a lot of Kronii’s willpower to get that question out.

“Why what?” Fauna responded.

“What do you mean why what? you know what I’m talking about!” Kronii frowned.

“Hehehe, no I don’t!”

Kronii could tell she was teasing her, again. “Ceres Fauna, I’m serious here.”

“Ceres?” A different voice chimed in.

“You’d think she would be Ouro Fauna by now!” Another voice said.

“Hey! Shhh! Shhh!” Fauna scolded the two voices Kronii instantly recognized. They were her escorts, IRyS and Mumei.

“Fauna, did you put me on speaker?” Kronii sighed again.

“Sorryyyy!” Fauna’s apologetic tone wasn’t very convincing.

“Ugh, whatever.” Kronii shook her head. “Did you find any outfits?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” IRyS said.

Kronii gritted her teeth. “Fauna can you send me your location?”

“No, wait, sorry.” IRyS’ voice got lower. “I found her a sundress…”

“Explain.” Kronii’s commanding tone scared IRyS more.

“It’s… it’s cute… with a sunflower motif.” Kronii smiled imagining what that would look like. “There’s no hat, though.”

“Unfortunately…” Fauna sighed.

“How can there be no…” Kronii could feel some bloodlust coming from her phone. “Right, sorry.”

“Oh yeah! Mumei found something in another store!” Fauna pointed out.

“You mean pants and a hoodie?” Kronii asked. She could hear something being thrown on the ground.

“WELL!” Mumei shouted. “ACTUALLY, I found a really cute kind of emo outfit.”

“Oh, really?” Kronii was interested. “Like, a skirt and…”

“A shirt, knee socks and some accessories Fauna said you’d like.” Mumei explained.

“Oh?” Kronii raised her eyebrow.

“D-don’t worry about that!” It sounded like Fauna walked away. “You’ll have to wait for pictures!”

“I’m quite literally holding my breath.” Kronii laughed.

“Meanie.” Fauna sulked a little. “And I also found some nice jeans that—”

“Huh?” Kronii interrupted.

“What?”

“You? Wearing pants? Seriously?” Kronii couldn’t believe it. She could hear IRyS and Mumei laughing in the background.

“S-sometimes a proper lady is willing to make sacrifices to look good!” Fauna explained.

Kronii tilted her head. “Yeah, okay, sure, whatever you say.”

“ANYWAYS.” Fauna continued, “I’m gonna look for outfits for these two.”

“Aw c’mon, we just escorted you.” IRyS said, it seemed like they moved close to Fauna again.

“I gotta!” Fauna giggled. “I owe you both!”

“Yeah that’s just like you.” Kronii said. “I’ll talk to you later, okay?”

“Mm-hm!” Fauna sounded cheery. “Have fun with dance practice!”

“Hope you find some nice outfits.” Kronii smiled. “Oh wait, Mumei?”

“Me?” Mumei’s voice got closer to Fauna’s phone. “What’s up?”

“Don’t think I forgot.” Kronii pouted. “I’m not helping you with any crane games for a while.”

“WAIT, THAT’S NOT FAIR!!!” Mumei yelled. “I DON’T, I DON’T EVEN NEED YOUR HELP!”

“Yeah, yeah… and IRyS?”

“I’m good without playing crane games, thank youuuu.” IRyS’ tone ticked off Kronii even more.

“I hope you enjoy the last days you’ll get to see the sun.” She said in a serious voice.

“HUHHHH?!” IRyS snatched Fauna’s phone to scream at Kronii. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN??? WHY DO I GET THE ACTUAL THREA—”

Kronii hung up before IRyS finished her complaints. “Phew… I feel so much better now.”

Kronii stretched after realizing she’d been sitting still like a statue the whole time she talked on the phone. As sore as she was, she still felt refreshed after talking to her kirin. “Although…” She still had to get more payback. “But how?”

She put her hand on her chin and started thinking. “Can’t I just… send something myself?” She quickly glanced to her sides, then turned her head around after not being able to see anything. “Okay, I don’t think there’s anyone around, so… ugh, okay.”

“I have to do something that perv would like…” She closed her eyes to imagine what to do. “…Never mind. She’s just like me, anything will work.”

With her phone in hand, she turned on the front-facing camera. “Maybe here…” She put it on her stomach, she could barely see her face thanks to her chest. “And…” With her other hand, she lifted her crop top just barely enough to almost reveal her breasts. She bit the edge of her top to keep it in place. Oh, man… She took a series of pictures then quickly fixed her outfit.

“Wow, this is way more embarrassing than when I do it for myself.” Kronii said as she wiped the sweat off her brow.

She picked one of the pictures to send to Fauna then kept the rest for herself. “Adding these to the collection…” Before sending it, she wrote another message for Fauna:

Ouro Kronii: Gonna go dance now! See you!

She put her phone in her bag and ran to the dance room. She found KroMa talking to the dance instructor. “Sorry for taking so long!” she said as she put her bag down next to KroMa’s.

“It’s fine, don’t worry.” KroMa turned to look at her. “Oh, you look much better now.”

“Yep.” Kronii smiled. “Just had to take a breather.”

KroMa smirked. “The nap wasn’t enough?”

“Shush.”

KroMa had already discussed with the dance instructor what to do that day, so they got to work quickly. While watching Kronii dance, KroMa still felt worried about her. Kronii couldn’t help but notice KroMa’s gaze burning holes through her.

“Are you worried I’ll screw up again?” She asked in the middle of dancing.

“No, I’m worried you’ll push yourself too hard and get injured.” KroMa frowned.

“Stop being so nice!” Kronii started blushing. “Just trust me, okay?!”

As Kronii went through each dance routine, KroMa’s worries washed away; Kronii finally returned to her usual, perfect self and did an impeccable job.

As they finished the last song, the warden turned into a sweaty mess. “MAN, IT’S SO HOT— Sorry…” She apologized to the instructor, who just laughed.

“With that we’re done, good job!” She gave Kronii a thumbs up.

“Thanks a lot, that was fun!” Kronii said while trying to cool herself off. She then heard clapping and cheering behind her.

“KRONIIIIII!!!” KroMa was crying. “YOU LOOKED SO GOOD!”

“Heh, obviously.” Kronii flipped her hair, letting the compliments get to her head. “I’m simply amazing.”

“I wonder why you didn’t do just as well earlier.” KroMa thought out loud.

“Ugh…” Kronii felt actual physical pain from her manager’s comment. “Just forget about that.”

“I’ll try, but I already asked the sound engineer to send me the outtakes.” KroMa smiled.

Kronii glared at her. “Why.”

“Ammo for later.”

Kronii sighed. “I’m just… I’m gonna go take a quick shower.”

KroMa nodded. “Got it. I’ll wait for you at the entrance.”

Kronii once again thanked the instructor then went to grab her bag.

“Oh, right!” KroMa chimed in. “I heard your bag rumbling… like a lot. Were you expecting some calls?”

“Not calls, but…” Kronii glanced at her. “Did you check my phone?”

“Nope.” KroMa raised her hands. “I might be your manager but I’m not going to invade your privacy!”

"Aw that's really nice of you." Kronii smiled. “Now, could you do me a favor and delete those outtakes?”

“Of course not!” KroMa giggled.

“It was worth a shot…” Kronii stuck her tongue out at her manager then headed to the lockers.

Once again, she checked every corner to make sure no one was around before taking her phone out. She was half expecting Fauna to have just ignored her message and carried on with her own thing. Thankfully, she actually got a reaction this time.

Fauna: Huh?
Wait, you can’t just
Oh my god
WHEN DID YOU GET A CROP TOP??????
You look so
Oh mjy god
Kronii!!!!
Answer me!!!!!

Kronii giggled to herself. “One picture gets you that riled up?” She scrolled some more and found a barrage of pictures Fauna sent. She actually went back to the stores she mentioned and took pictures of the outfits Kronii was interested in. The first one she sent was a new sundress with a sunflower motif.

“Oh god, you look so cute…” She gushed over the picture. “Ah man, a hat would be perfect… Don’t say that in front of her… Oh!”

There was also the emo outfit Mumei mentioned with a long-sleeved shirt, a miniskirt, knee socks, thigh straps and a choker (which put Kronii over the moon). Finally, the “this is totally not Kronii’s outfit” with a turtleneck sweater and very, very tight jeans.

“She actually wore pants. I can’t believe it.” She said while saving each picture. “…Oh.”

Fauna also continued to send risqué pictures. She made full use of the changing rooms lifting her dress just barely showing her panties. Her emo outfit had her sitting down with her legs crossed but without her miniskirt. Finally, in her “totally not copying Kronii” outfit, she took a picture showing her backside while only wearing jeans.

Kronii lost count of how many pictures Fauna took, she also noticed how Fauna seemed to be angry while taking the sweater pictures. “She might had received my message by then.” She giggled.

At the very end of the barrage, Fauna sent one last message with a picture attached.

Fauna: Don’t you want me?

The picture had her in the middle of changing, showing her lingerie. She had her arm pushing up her breasts and had a smug smile on her face.

“God dammit…” She stared at the ceiling. “One picture’s enough for me too, I guess.”

She dragged herself to the shower and once again checked her corners. “No one around yet.” She quickly took another picture after taking off her sweaty clothes, she angled it to show her arm covering her breasts and how she was biting her lip.

Kronii: Hope you bought all of those outfits. I’ll talk to you later.

She promptly sent the selfie and took a quick shower. Once she finished, she got changed and went back to KroMa. She was chatting with the receptionist.

“Ready?” KroMa asked her.

“Can’t wait to go back to bed.” Kronii responded.

“Actually,” KroMa got up from her seat and faced Kronii. “Wanna get dinner together? My treat.”

“Really?” Kronii was surprised. “But you already paid for lunch.”

“It’s fine, you deserve it.” KroMa waved the receptionist goodbye, and they made their way outside. “You’ll be spending a lot on your girlfriend tomorrow, anyways.”

KroMa gladly took the shove she earned from that comment.

“Does yakiniku sound good?” She checked her phone to find one nearby. “You already had udon today.”

“Lead the way.”

Thankfully, there was a yakiniku restaurant a few streets away, so they made their way on foot, KroMa had to ignore Kronii’s complaints about her body hurting. While eating, Kronii kept glancing at her phone.

“Are you waiting for a message?” KroMa asked while cooking some beef tongue.

“Yeah, well, kind of.” Kronii replied. “I mean if she called, I’d pick up, but…”

“Hahaha!” KroMa smirked at her. “Awwww you two are so cute!”

“Stoooop!” Kronii rolled her eyes.

She’s not just cute… Once again, Kronii’s mind started to derail recalling Fauna’s pictures. While eating and talking to KroMa, she started to imagine the things she’d do to her kirin. Kronii was thankful they went to eat there; it seemed the smoke managed to hide her flushed cheeks pretty well.

After having their fill, KroMa paid, and they left the restaurant. “That was so good!” She stretched and yawned. “I should bring you along more often, you’re pretty good at cooking the meat!”

“As long as you’re paying.” Kronii chuckled.

KroMa stopped her stretch midway. “…Can’t we split it?” She glanced at Kronii. “I’m not made of money, you know?”

Still hazy from all the sinful thoughts, Kronii turned away from her. “Fine, fine…”

“Oh wow, it’s this late already?” KroMa looked at the sky. “Want me to call you a cab? We can go together again.”

“Um…” Kronii didn’t think she’d be able to handle another ride if the color green clouded her mind again. “My hotel’s pretty close, I think I’ll just walk.”

“You sure?” KroMa made a worried face, “Aren’t you tired?”

“I’m okay, mom.” Kronii poked her manager in the cheek. “I just want to walk to, uh… help the food go down.”

“Alright…” KroMa sulked a little. “Send me a message when you get to your room okay?”

“Will do.” Kronii flung her bag on her shoulder. “Thanks for… you know, being so patient with me today.”

“Aw, you.” KroMa smiled. “Tell Fauna I’m sorry for taking you away from her!”

“Man, whatever.” Kronii started walking away. “Just take care, please?”

They waved goodbye and went their separate ways.

The city lights illuminated the night sky, you could only tell it was late if you looked at the time. As Kronii made her way back, she reviewed what she did that day. I’m definitely going to have to re-record that. She thought, remembering her stellar performance back at the recording booth. Man, why did she send all that? She started blushing again. She can be such a handful sometimes… I don’t even remember what we went through during those meeti— “Oof!”
