The big model comparison grids.
This series of pages shows examples of popular models of different types, with a focus on how well they work for furry stuff.
It is not meant to collect best-in-class highest quality examples but same seed, same config generations, so you can see what each model makes of the same prompt and which sampler / scheduler combinations work well.
SDXL
All models in here are built on NoobAI. NoobAI is trained on Danbooru and e6, so it knows the furry tags and artists out of the box, and that is why pretty much every furry SDXL model these days is based on it. That also means that these models only understand tag based prompts and no natural language descriptions. Use of a tag-autocomplete extension is recommended to make sure the tags are all properly understood.
They come as EPS and V_PREDICTION models, the type is noted for each one.

Anima
Anima is trained on Danbooru and Gelbooru and understands a mix of tags and plain English.
Use tags for quality, artists, background and scene. Use a sentence or two for the characters, their pose and how they interact.
The e6 dataset was not included in its training, so it is not very good at furry stuff.

Krea2
⚠️ Under construction ⚠️
Krea 2 is a fast, general-purpose model: Turbo makes an image in 8 steps, prompted in plain sentences with the medium named first. Artist tags have no effect, so the style comes from describing the medium, and base Turbo draws nearly the same pose on every seed. The furry fine-tunes and LoRAs on its page add the variety and the anthro anatomy base Krea 2 lacks.

MOSS-Image

MOSS-Image is a promising model for furry art: SFT draws well-known species cleanly and follows long, detailed prompts closely. The landscape around it is still very young, with few fine-tunes and LoRAs so far, and artist tags have no visible effect. For now the style comes from describing the medium, as in the examples on its page, on top of SFT's own polished look.
