TRANS-X/TRANSiD MASTERLIST
NOT SAFE FOR EXCLUSIONISTS--DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT CLOWNING ON THIS!
The transID flag.
What is TransID?
TransID refers to any aspect of someone's identity that is trans- in some way. This includes transage, transrace, transabled, transplural, and other trans- terms. Transgender and transsexual may fall under this label, but it's heavily debated.
TRANSAGE
The transage flag.
Transage, or altage, is an identity where someone's internal age is different than their chronological age. This can be due to plurality, trauma, spiritual beliefs, or anything else. This label is not an invitation to engage in predatory behaviour. Sexual or romantic contact between a chronological adult and a chronological child is never okay!
CHRONOSIAN
The chronosian flag.
The chronosian symbol.
Chronosian is an alternative label to transage, and has the same definition. While it is not part of transID, it is a very similar term to transage, and I personally believe it has a spot here. This term was created in response to the rather distasteful atmosphere that some people sense in the transage community.
DIARACIAL/TRANSRACIAL/TRACE
The trace flag. (author's note: there is also a flag that is essentially a horizontal version of this, however, I cannot find it. If you have a photo of it, I'd love it if you sent it to me!)
Trace, transracial, or diaracial, is an identity where someone's external race or ethnicity does not match their internal race. This label does not describe white people who fetishize a race or ethnicity, and it also doesn't describe POC who have internalized racism that would like to become white for more privilege. This is a genuine label.
TRANSABLED
The new transabled flag.
The old transabled flag.
Transabled, or altabled, is an identity that refers to someone who wants to obtain a disability, illness, or disorder, or get rid of a disorder, disability, or illness (not for reasons born out of pain from having the disease, but someone with those feelings could ID as transabled if they wished.) A common disorder that accompanies transabled is Body Integrity Identity Disorder, or BIID.
TRANSPLURAL
The transplural flag.
Transplural is an identity where someone desires or views themselves as plural/multiple. This label does not necessarily describe those who desire or view themselves as someone with DID or OSDD, however those people are included under this term.
MISC. TRANS-X
The transvoice flag.
Transvoice is an identity that describes someone that desires or views themselves with a different voice than what their body has.
The transinglet flag.
Transinglet is an identity where someone desires or views themselves as a singlet.
