the dlc was some bullshit. he didn't do all that. malenia was fighting radahn for the eclipse to usher in godwyn's true death (as fia does in her quest, NOTICE HOW RADAHN HAS TO BE DEAD TO MAKE THE DUSKBORN RUNE? NOTICE HOW GODWYN ATTACKS YOU IF YOU ATTACK FIA? NOTICE HOW HE DOESN'T ATTACK DEVIN? AFTER THE RUNE IS MADE? YEAH BUDDY) which was one of the main things miquella was actually developed around in the base game. he had three goals: cure his sister, find a way to let godwyn rest, and usher in an age of kindness. yeah, the dlc TRIES to carry that last one in. it fucking flopped and forgot about the rest of it. If you look me in mine own eyes and tell me "But Ophi, he abandoned his Love, Trina was the one that cared about Malenia and Godwyn" i'm going to pistolwhip you with that damn UNALLOYED GOLD needle.
