Beginning
The game begins with the protagonist regaining consciousness in a dimly lit, unfamiliar room. The atmosphere is eerie, with shadows casting strange shapes on the walls. The protagonist has no recollection of how they ended up there.
The player (MC) wakes up in a locked room, unable to recall anything—who they are, why they're there, and what has happened. The MC explores a bit, discovering a massive room that could belong to a giant, connected to the room they're in. Soon, they spot two canvases placed in the middle of the room. One depicts a 'Clown' and the other a 'King.'
While the MC is speaking to themselves about the paintings, one of them begins to speak. The 'King' corrects the MC by telling them he is actually a Prince. The second painting then introduces himself as Jester. The MC quickly freaks out and starts asking the paintings questions, such as how they can talk and where they are. The paintings, however, do not provide much information. They do mention that the MC is not the only person who has been there; many have come before. They also mention that the giant's room next to them belongs to their creator and that the past 'players' disappeared after failing to complete the challenge.
The paintings explain the challenge: the MC must paint them with the colours provided. Simple enough, right?

Uncanon Ending Jester
The main character (MC) decides to paint the Jester, who has a penchant for making dark jokes, including threats about eating the MC. Even while being painted, the Jester quips that if he doesn't like the colors, he might kill the MC. After some time, the MC pauses to ask if the Jester approves of the colors. The Jester does indeed like them, but when the MC tries to continue painting, he finds that the canvas remains unchanged. The Prince then explains that this is part of a challenge: the painting cannot be completed all at once and requires a day between sessions.
To pass the time, the Prince suggests playing a card game. The rules are simple: if the MC wins a round, they get to ask one of their companions a question that must be answered truthfully. Through this game, the MC learns that the Prince possesses the power to make it snow. As they continue playing, the Jester grows bored and proposes a risky challenge: he will reveal three things about himself, but only one is true. If the MC guesses incorrectly, the Jester will eat his arm; if correct, no harm will come to him. With a subtle hint from the Prince, the MC correctly identifies that the Jester's true power is conjuring illusions and hallucinations. After this tense interaction, the MC retires for the night. Upon waking, he speaks briefly with the Jester before finally completing his painting. However, as soon as he finishes, an overwhelming fatigue overtakes him, and he collapses to the ground. To his horror, he hears a loud chuckle and turns to see the Jester stepping out of the painting. The Jester taunts him about finally having a chance to eat him. The commotion awakens the Prince, who demands to know what has happened. The Jester and Prince engage in a cryptic exchange filled with riddles that baffle the MC. In a sudden and violent turn of events, the Jester summons tentacles that crush the Prince's canvas, effectively killing him. With a sinister grin, he then turns his attention back to the MC and fulfills his dark promise by consuming him.
