Now: what on God's green earth could possibly be this 'Facility'? you may ponder to yourself, may take a moment or two to regather your scattered thoughts but NO NEED! I have it all written down here for you, that me and Mikey have came up with.
Well before I begin, allow me to introduce myself! I'm Isaiah—13 year old cismale & straight; catholic christian, Schizophrenic with AuDHD + Q/PBPD. Just a philosopher fanboy that's way too interested in something he only just got into today!
WHATS UP GUYS IM MIKEY IM THE NEW BASKEYBALL PLAYER ON THE TEAM!!! /ref Anyways hey mikey karl or finn Idgaf genderfluid pansexual #love everyone he / she / any isaiah got me into this Ok
Now back on topic. The Facility is a surprisingly unpopular game on Roblox given by it's simplistic but eye-catching coding and poetry that can that can captivate fellow players of robloxia despite its minimalism, achieve complex effects through nothing from it's uniqueness. Not quite like the other Roblox games I'll say that, and as I've played this game for nearly about a decade I can hereby announce this might've been one of the best. Roughly top ten, even. Of course upon playing I was almost immediately hooked, as if I had to know the lore.
To me by the looks of it, The Facility almost looks like an abandoned myth game. Even if not—My God, does this deserve more recognition. First it was created on June 29th 2025: and if you don't know me then long story short, ever since the 29th of January 2025, every month on the 29th something bad happens. And frankly I don't quite like that, no, of course not! Which is coincidental it was made on my bad luck day, especially how I cried on June 29th. It's as if I was meant to discover this game. Doesn't quite sit right with me.
And now I have discovered now the time I write this (25/07/25) it was updated 1 week ago, which was the one month anniversary I left my mental abuser. Things can't not prove I wasn't meant to come across this game—RIGHT! You must be wondering how I found it in the first place since the time I type it has 19 visits (10-29 = 19 no way), and it's never been sponsored/advertised either. I was searching up "Flee the Facility" (which I never play. Like once in a blue moon I do) before I misspelt it and came across this game which thank the heavens I did so.
Lore (Fanon so far as we are not in contact with the actual owner yet):
A man named Johnathan, (not his actual name as he is addressed by his pronouns and not name so we made up one), but often called John for short had wild dreams, though many he was not able to fufill: except for one. Be superior, be worshipped. Riches, glory, dominance—blah blah blah, give it all to him. Atop of the plethora of dreams he laid his ambition like gold bricks on a path to glory, and lookie here that got lead him to success! So probably (don't) follow in John's footsteps because he's always correct in his calculations! Right?
These images represent the before and aftermath of when his cult turned on him and abandoned him, dipping then and there rather than attempting to work things out. Maybe he's just beyond repair, isn't that right? He can't lead anything, even if his life depended on it! Such a shame, don't you think? Well no time to grieve over his cult that was once once present, let's talk about why this has happened in the first place! Allow me to elaborate:
If you look back on the "Will it be a disaster?" image, you can see John standing in front of a house whose pristine condition and refined details suggested being maintaned by the hands of a wealthy owner, of course piquing his interest further to invite this rather rich man to his cult. This is included later in the poetry as well, which will be shown as you read along. Tell me ARE YOU TIRED OF THIS? During the meeting, he is stating his arguement on why the rich man and the invisible hat-man should join. At times during the logic explaining he is seen to be almost pleading with the pair to try look at it through his perspective.
The two are shown to feel remorse and feel almost bad for John, so they join the cult aka "The Facility" out of pure guilt.
The voting system was created for the cult meetings, and since John was more kinder than other cult leaders he gives them free will and the decision to do what their heart desired: to do what felt right for THEM, presenting buttons that reflect their choice. If you press the green button, you agree. White? Neutral. Red = disagree. Upon further analysation, the rich man's name is presumably Lazkara.
Now if you long press (Mobile) or hover your mouse (Desktop) you can read what John wrote, mainly after his cult abandoned him as again he sucks at leading, or just at ownership as a whole.
Well, for now thats it i suppose.
NOT SO FAST!!! Notice how in the notes, it mentions tools? But the problem is, there's no tools anywhere. Believe us, we've tried looking! But Isaiah has also stated that it's likely that John is schizophrenic, which means he could have been having hallucinations of being free, which is reasonable after you're trapped in the facility for 2+ years.
(Ok now after looking I've discovered the tools are outside the facility, there's no way for him to escape with tools if he can't even reach it—Only adding onto the theory John is schizophrenic further: said by a schizo, as he is lowkey serving long-term psychotic episode & insanity)
But there's also more! See this image?
Notice how two of the rooms appear to be boarded up, despite them not being boarded up in the game? This could likely mean that the only available rooms were the Voting Room, and the Observation Room, which I assume is where people watch the work of the blocks being created. This theorizes that during the time the supposedly cult was active, people were forced to watch their peers work their backs out in the room next to the observation room, and the voting system deemed if that specific peer was useful, or unhelpful. What happened if they were deemed unhelpful? Only John could know!
- got the badge (released John from facility)
- theorised and analysed the game deep
- got in contact with the owner of the facility
- (in contact with his friend over discord, which will soon enough get us in contact with him)
- ^ found out the actual full lore from this
