What Is Ska Punk?

Ska Punk is a type of Punk Music genre which started in the late 1950s. Its origins are from Jamaica. The sound of ska sounds very upbeat. Fast-Energy Tempos that make you wanna dance! Ska Punk is Revoluntionary and awesome. Some of my Favorite Ska Punk songs are "Beer" By Reel Big Fish, "Date Rape" By Sublime, "Shoot the Moon" By Voodoo Glow Skulls, And "Sound System" By Operation Ivy.

Why?

Music has always impacted my life. Since I was little I didn't really realize it but growing older I used it as an escape. Music helps me express my emotions and how I feel. Ska does just that! Some kick-ass music to be happy to. Really does the kick. Some of my favorite music genres other than Ska are Post-Hardcore, Grunge, Post-Punk, Emo, Thrash Metal and Black Metal. Really dabbling into music has changed my life and honestly has made me a cooler person.
