Sorry im too greedy with this artist's art but you can find a lot of fanarts of Uru on Tumblr!
Note: I'm doing this because the website's translator didn't work properly, so I did it myself.
Uruguay is a fan-made character from the Latin Hetalia community, a version of Hetalia featuring characters from Latin American countries. His human name is Sebastián Artigas. He is around 19 years old, and his birthdate is August 25, 1825.
Appearance
He is a fairly tall young man (1.75m) with light brown, somewhat long hair. His skin is pale, and his eyes, covered by glasses, are a dark honey/light brown color. Due to his boundless love of fashion, he doesn't have a specific outfit he wears most often; however, he enjoys wearing his gaucho attire.
Sebastián has been drawn numerous times surrounded by glitter, which gives him an elegant, modern, and sarcastic look when he adjusts his glasses on his nose.
Personality
Sebastián is a serious and highly cultured individual. Uruguay is one of the most literate countries in Latin America and publishes the most books relative to its population. He is very open-minded on certain topics but conservative on others. Direct in nature, he tends to say everything he believes and thinks, but never rudely. He also listens to others' opinions, but that doesn't necessarily mean he agrees with them; when he does, he doesn't mince words when disagreeing.
Very diplomatic, he often acts as a mediator or president of international organizations (FTAA). Although he shares many things with his cousin MartÃn (Argentina), and is often mistaken for him (which he doesn't particularly like), he stands out for being much more composed and serious.
He is a lover of design and fashion. While Uruguay isn't a fashion capital, it is considered a "Vintage Paradise," given that retro fashion is predominant (with the Nostalgia Night party being an emblem of this lifestyle). He has a great appreciation for almost all existing art forms; painting, photography and performance art being his favorites (few of the countries where the administration supports young artists graduating from the ENBA -national school of fine arts- and provides them with public artistic work).
Sometimes it's hard to define Sebastián. He often acts like someone who aspires to be like the English, but with many Italian tendencies. Although practically his life is governed by everything that happens in the "old world"—from educational plans to fashion, music, events, etc.—on the other hand, he's very attached to his homeland. He's not a nationalist or the typical patriot, but he is proud of the "Celestes" (not just referring to the football team). He's very attached to gaucho traditions and likes to participate in each and every event that takes place in Uruguay, from the Rural del Prado, Carnival (the longest in the world at 40 days), Criolla Week, Heritage Day...
AHHH my husband and...switzerland's i guess...
