thinnest ice: people uneducated on other forms of plurality (especially outwardly anti-endos / anti other plural origins) - i dont mind you around me nor befriending some just absolutely no discourse around me and do not debate my set views on plurality

** excerpt of my views on plurality for those curious and openminded:

DID / OSDD does not equate to non-trauma-formed plurality.

A lot who are pro other origins in a good faith sense anyways typically doesn't equate all plurality as always DID/OSDD, and some people are just plural for separate reasons unrelated to DID/OSDD.

Now from what I know, there are two scenarios.

A traumagenic formed DID system may utilize a combo of other origins (we can use me for an example; my main system that is diagnosed DID is traumagenic, but I also utilized parogenic and median to particularly define our subsystem, which helped us a lot, and I did speak abt it with the professional that was assisting with treatment).

In some studies, though very rare but has happened, where DID has formed without trauma particularly but this is like. entirely rare and complex to what I've studied and concurred.

I haven't made a concise opinion on this part particularly mainly because my focus for other origins is outside of DID/OSDD because it's way more complex in my opinion.

I support those who utilize other origins for their plurality mainly because it's not my business as long as its done in good faith & isn't intentionally harmful or spreading misinformation.

I also just don't really identify with being against it mainly because those who are adamant of a strict "all plurality is DID" and "All plurality is inherently trauma formed" have this reoccurring thing of fakeclaiming others, internalized hatred for systems, and also spreading misinformation which I have experienced all of these and me wanting to change from this kind of person is what even inspired me to do exposure therapy for myself and reach out to other plurals and learn from others experiences and do personal research.

I hated seeing my fellow peers experience so much ableism within the community they felt safe in and shunned away, despised watching fellow systems literally put other systems on r/fakedisordercringe.

I'm more comfortable than ever as a system and stopped purposely appealing to actual ableists ever since I turned my views around and educated myself and found community

TLDR: I don't care about other plurals who identify with other origins unrelated to traumagenic because it's not my business and it's only my business once they do it out of malice or spread misinformation about the actual disorder of DID/OSD/etc - It's really cool researching other forms with an open mind and just learning others experiences in general, acknowledging plurality will never be perfect and studies are always changing.

boundaries
do not be rude towards me, utilize tonetags with me, dont make cruel jokes aimed at me if we aren't close whatsoever, dont use slurs jokingly at me, absolutely no topics of nsfw / lewdity around me especially jokes it makes me uncomfortable to extreme amounts

my full typing;

functions stack : SiTeFiNe

The SiTe’s functions are:

  1. Si - introverted Sensing
SiTe’s naturally use Si to catalogue experiences and information they deem important. In particular, they remember their impressions of experiences they’ve had. They have an organized internal world and their mind can easily put similar pieces of information into appropriate categories. They learn straightforward, practical systems, rules, and strategies with ease and grace and love when something is done right. Si gives the sense of the SiTe being grounded and having a linear, black and white way of thinking about things.
  1. Te - extroverted Thinking
Te is the primary way SiTe’s interact with the world around them. Te makes them loves efficiency and getting things done, and can enjoy a bit of healthy competition at times if they feel like they have a chance at winning. It is the SiTe’s primary decision-making process, which means that if a decision is needed in the moment, they tend to rely on what makes the most sense logically. They are more concerned about moving forward than they are about it being the perfect solution. Because Te is the primary external function, it is usually the first thing other people will notice about SiTe’s.
  1. Fi - introverted Feeling
Fi is the SiTe’s third function. Fi is sensitive to the feelings of others and the atmosphere they’re in, and they use it to assess situations to see how things match up to their values and beliefs so they can act accordingly. They may think of their Fi as their gut instinct. It can act as a warning system when Te thinks a decision makes sense logically, but somewhere inside, Fi knows it’s a bad idea. Since Fi is internal, SiTe’s need more time to mull over the details of decisions that involve their beliefs or values. Because Fi is right after Te in order of preference, SiTe’s can be quite balanced between their action-oriented analytical side and the side of them that ponders their beliefs and values and the meaning behind things.
  1. Ne - extroverted iNtuition
Ne is the SiTe’s last function. Ne is the small part of the SiTe that craves new experiences and ideas, but because it is their weakest function, it can only be used in simple ways or for short periods of time. For example, when coming up with an idea to execute a project, they can take a lot of details they’ve gathered from previous experience and put them together to form a really great concept, but coming up with an idea about a project when they have no relevant practical experience catalogued away can be very difficult. Ne can also fuel sudden “lightbulb” moments where an idea strikes them out of nowhere as they’re talking.

The Loyalist. The committed, security-oriented type.
Sixes are reliable, hardworking, and responsible, but they can also be
defensive, evasive, and highly anxious—running on stress while complaining
about it. They are often cautious and indecisive but can also
be reactive, defiant, and rebellious. They typically have problems with
self-doubt and suspicion. At their best, healthy Sixes are internally stable
self-confident, and self-reliant, courageously supporting the weak
and powerless.

Healthy People of this subtype often excel at various kinds of
technical expertise, making them outstanding practical problem-
solvers, analysts, social commentators, teachers, and opinion leaders.
They are attracted to systems of knowledge where the rules and parameters
are well established, such as mathematics,- law, and the sciences.
They often have greater powers of concentration than the other sub-
type, although they can be narrower in their concerns. Political causes
and community service are areas of interest, and they often serve as
spokespeople or champions for disadvantaged groups or individuals.

Average They are more independent and serious than the other
subtype, and less likely to go to others for reassurance or advice. They
are often loners. They get reassurance from systems and beliefs, while
remaining skeptical. People of this subtype tend to see the world as
dangerous, leading to partisan stances and reactionary positions.
Secretiveness can fuel suspicion, and they usually see themselves as
rebellious and antiauthoritarian, while ironically constantly being drawn
to systems, alliances, and beliefs that contain strong authoritarian elements
Sixes with a Five-wing are reactive and aggressive, typically
tending to blame or scapegoat perceived threats to their security.

subtype : so6

Most of us are aware that we have a social component, but we tend
to see it as our desire to socialize, to attend parties, meetings, belong to
groups, and so forth. The Social instinct, however, is actually
something much more fundamental. It is a powerful desire, found in all
human beings, to be liked, approved of, and to feel safe with others. On
our own, we are rather weak and vulnerable and can easily fall prey to
a hostile environment. We lack the claws, fangs, and fur of other
animals, and if we did not band together and cooperate with each other,
it is unlikely that our species—or we as individuals—would be able to
survive. Being able to adjust ourselves to others and be acceptable is a
fundamental, survival-based human instinct.

People who have a dominant Social instinct are preoccupied with
being accepted and necessary in their world. They are concerned with
maintaining the sense of value they get from participating in activities
with others, be they family, group, community, national, or global
activities. Social types like to fed involved, and they enjoy interacting
with others for common purposes.

On entering a room, Social types would be immediately aware of
the power structures and subtle “politics” between the different people
and groups. They are subconsciously focused on others’ reactions to
them particularly on whether they are being accepted or not. They
are attuned to the notion of “place” within a hierarchical social
structure, in regard both to themselves and to others. This can manifest in
many ways, such as the pursuit of attention, success, fame, recognition,
honor, leadership, and appreciation, as well as the security of being part
of something larger than themselves. Of all the Instinctual Variants,
Social types like to know what is going on in their world; they need to
“touch base” with others to feel safe, alive, and energized. This can
range from an interest in office politics or neighborhood gossip to
world news and international diplomacy. We could say that the Social
instinct is a kind of contextual intelligence: it gives us the ability to see
our efforts and their effects in a broader context.

In general, Social types enjoy interacting with people, although
ironically, they tend to avoid intimacy. As with all of the instincts, if the
person becomes unhealthy, the instinct manifests as its opposite.

*Unhealthy Social types can become extremely antisocial, detesting people
and resenting society, and as a result, they may have poorly
developed social skills. They fear and distrust others and cannot get along
with people, while at the same time they are unable to disengage from
their social connections. In brief, Social types focus on interacting with
people in ways that will build their personal value, their sense of
accomplishment, and their security of place with others.

When the other two instincts dominate in an individual and the
Social instinct is least developed, attending to social endeavors and
commitments does not come naturally. Such individuals have difficulty seeing
the point of creating and sustaining social connections, often disregarding
the impact of the opinions of others. Their sense of involvement with
their community, at any scale, may be minimal. They often have little
connection with people, feeling that they do not need others and that others
do not need them. Thus, there may be frequent misunderstandings
with allies and supporters as well as friends and family members.
