I love Sachi & One Room of Happiness so much!!!!! This story has impacted my life in every positive way ever and I will never shut up about it!!!

I see myself in Haru / Mister so much, it's crazy! I don't like talking about the uglier sides of myself, but for haru, it might just be worth it...

Haru is a selfish person. His selfishness comes from a more childish desire or understanding of things, and it's even said that his heart carries a sense of childish naivety — that he's "younger at heart".

He's like a child being kept safe in the body of an adult — he's like me. It's not that you haven't grown, surely not that. You understand things better than before, you learn, you adapt, you're quite capable of providing for yourself — just like an adult. But you still cling to who you once were because that's all you know — in that sense, you are a child.

Growing up so fast leaves you scarred forever, it was never proper, you will never be "normal" again ( but were you ever ? ).

Haru doesn't understand himself, he doesn't know how to deal with his emotions, his feelings. He's smart enough to know what they are on the surface, but that doesn't mean he can remedy it — logic can't fix the mind. This leads to an unhealthy obsession — an envy, a jealousy, a projection.

At first, he didn't know Sachi, he didn't actually care, he was only thinking about himself — he's selfish. I, like him, find people to project my ugliness, selfishness, onto. I've always been this way, I think it's my "nature". But people can fight their "natures". I learn of myself from the people I love this way and I learn to truly love them as well. They, like Sachi, are people I grow close to and who I use to reflect upon myself.

I'm not a "pleasant" person by any means, I don't believe anyone is obligated to come to "understand" me, but those who do, I cherish more than myself

Well I could and probably will go on about more depressing things but this last bit is the most important

I'm going to find that Happiness I'm searching for. I will be at peace to know it, and know that it was truly meant for me. I'm not alive for nothing, I can give myself the meaning I desire — and I can extend this hope to others
