Okay, this is a lovemail to my more favorite team in the world, ryujin nippon literally, theyre the best team and one of the team that i can really relly on because theres something about japanese volleyball players that amazes me so much to the point i got hooked in volleyball, and saying this in a good way btw , I also can't believe it's been years since I've supported them, I looked up to them since I was like idk a BOUNCING baby child and I couldn't ask for more, and in a matter of fact is they keep me in my company, this is NOT japan glazing I'm just a fan of theirs, and seeing a few players who I watched back then was just a rookie now turned a veteran and letting the new rookies in makes me proud on how much of a team they've become
yuji nishida, oh boy oh boy since day one I've been supporting him, well..not since day one, from the day that he's been added to the national team roster, volleyball world cup I was amazed on how this guy can turn his spikes so powerful and explosive, and I also loved his aces because who in the world could turn aces THAT smooth?? And don't get me started in his vertical, can't believe he's just 6'1" and still manages to jump like that through the net and OW GOD HIS SPIKE REACHES ARE SO INSANE TOO LIKE HELLO BRO??? absolutely cinema, mind you I have been studying his techniques and style for years now and I STILL can't get it because his playing style towards the court is impossible to imitate, only he can do it by himself, and that's what I like about him too, tbh I instantly thought yuji is more of an "explosive" type of opposite but no he's clearly not all that, yes he can be explosive but not all of his style relies on explosiveness, I also love his ball control too, but yes I would say yuji does offense attack more than defense and yes I tried doing his exact same service routine but FUUUCK no I can't bro, but I can't BE the goat himself, I can be just like yuji, by saying that I was inspired by him, but doing it my own way, either way he will always remain my goat and my ace forever
Saori kimura, tbh I don't really watch women's volleyball so much but the way that she instantly clocks in amazes me and her spikes is ALSO cool af too I was shocked, and the way that she appears in the court is also admiring too on how she's focused on her game, still can't get over to the fact she retired
Ran takahashi- DUDE I just realized on how many years I've supported him like holy shit wdym it's been so long, I've supported this guy during his higashiyama days, yes I've watched and tune in haruko and I KNEW he'd eventually get picked up by the national team and he DID!! I was so proud on how much he has improved towards many years since the start of his volleyball journey im so happy for him, he's more than a pretty face, he's also hell when it comes to sets whenever if its fake or not (HE COULD BE A SETTER LITERALLY.) and I love how humble he his especially when he became a captain for just a day, still can't believe him, ogawa AND leon will be teammates next season, WISHING THEM GOOD LUCK IN POLAND !!!
Hinotori and Ryujin MEANS THE WORLD to me so much I love them from the bottom of my heart, and they're the reason why I even became a volleyball player and a person who I became today and I couldn't be more happier, hoping the next roster of new players will do even greater im looking forward to them, and im hoping for a good run in the AVC cup as well to secure their olympic ticket!!
