No updates to this since last five or so lobbies so no need to update or read any of this if you already joined one of these in the last few moths. But it doesn't hurt to update just in case.
1. install beatmanager and install version 1.40.8

2. install these recommended mods in the mods tab
(all the dependency mods you require will be automatically selected and downloaded with the rest so they don't need to be listed)

this is counters+, which doesn't appear in bsmanager anymore for some reason. Install this if you want to be able to see your score in-game in multiplayer. If you download the .zip, you can just drag it on to the bsmanager window while in the mods list tab, and it will import it for you.

Optional: to link your beatmap library without having to copy them all over to the new install, you can set "shared folders" in the gear menu under maps. To move over stuff like your mod settings, copy over the userdata folder (not sure if this is the best way to do it but it usually works for me.)

use this to downgrade your steam install version to the correct version listed above, then add it as an instance into bsmanager, and you can still auto-install the mods with bsmanager.
