"Yo babe." She saw him, emerging from the bedroom donning a jacket and some running shorts.
"Gonna get go get us some yogurt, I'll be back in a sec." The love of her life said, he was only one step out of the door.
"W-Wait Anon." She raised a hand towards him.
"Kronii?" He look at her, he knew immediately something was wrong.
He knew so much about her, she had allowed him into her heart.
It was a mistake.
He walked on over, his hand giving a gentle caress on her cheek.
He planted a kiss.
"Don't worry babe. I'll be back soon." He crouched, smiling. He then planted a kiss on her engorged abdomen.
"Take care of her for me." The words were stuck in her throat, she couldn't say them.
He was so afraid, he was so scared of being a father.
Yet he was willing to brave his fears.
Oh God how could she tell him.
"Anon, I miss you." A single tear fell down her cheek, the emotions overwhelming.
He just stared, unaware of the thoughts wreaking havoc in her head.
She saw him die.
What made it worse, was that she couldn't do anything about it.
