North Ailivian Silvanus Trade and Investment Agreement (NASTIA)

PREAMBLE

The Leadership of Moriji, the Elders of the city-state of Silvanus, and the All-Bones Clan of the Retro Reich resolved to:

STRENGTHEN the special bonds of friendship and cooperation among their nations;

CONTRIBUTE to the harmonious development and expansion of Ailivian trade and provide a catalyst to broader Deadbeat-Tupai cooperation;

CREATE an expanded and secure market for the goods and services produced in their territories;

REDUCE distortions to trade;

ESTABLISH clear and mutually advantageous rules governing their trade;

ENSURE a predictable commercial framework for business planning and investment;

BUILD on their respective rights and obligations under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade and other multilateral and bilateral instruments of cooperation;

ENHANCE the competitiveness of their firms in global markets;

CREATE new employment opportunities and improve working conditions and living standards in their respective territories;

UNDERTAKE each of the preceding in a manner consistent with the protection and conservation of the sacred forests of the Tupai;

PRESERVE their flexibility to safeguard the public welfare;

STRENGTHEN the development and enforcement of abolitionist laws and regulations; and

PROTECT, enhance and enforce basic workers' rights;

HAVE AGREED as follows:

GENERAL PART

Article 101: Establishment of the Free Trade Area

The Parties to this Agreement hereby establish a free trade area defined by the territories of the Municipalities of Moriji and that of the City State of Silvanus, its allies, and any parties invited to this agreement subsequently.

Article 102: Objectives

The objectives of this Agreement, as elaborated more specifically through its principles and rules, are to:
- eliminate barriers to trade in, and facilitate the cross-border movement of, goods and services between the territories of the Parties;
- promote conditions of fair competition in the free trade area;
- increase substantially investment opportunities in the territories of the Parties;
- kickstart the development of a Risuner-owned world-class military technology industry in the Silvanus region;
- provide adequate and effective protection and enforcement of rights to self-determination in each Party's territory;
- establish a framework for further trilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation to expand and enhance the benefits of this Agreement.
The Parties shall interpret and apply the provisions of this Agreement in the light of its objectives set out in paragraph 1.

1. Black Fleet

Interested in a steady supply of quality shipbuilding materials, and in the political and economical stability of the supplier.

2. Goddess Faithful Transnational Company

Interested in advancing Risuner knowledge of their local chuubanite to optimize lumber yields

3. All-Bones Clan

Interested in establishing a Retro Reich presence on the West coast of the land of the Tupai, and in supporting a strong ally for the city of Conker in the country.

4. Municipality of Lethe

Interested in securing Risuner waters further and securing lumber supplies, as they would be a major destination for export based on their location.

Article 1105: Planned Installations

The following projects will be funded and their construction overseen by the Parties.

Article 1106: Human Resources

The following human resources will be brought to the Silvanus region by the Parties to assist with its development.

The following industries will receive investments from the Parties able to provide financial support with higher priority.

Article 2203: Military Components:

To secure its investments into the Tupai and trade routes thereof, the Black Fleet pledges the following commitments as part of this agreement.

Increased Black Fleet protection in the coasts of North-West Tupai and on the Moriji-Risu trade route
Guarantee of complete military support in the event of military incursions against Silvanus and its allies
Engineering, training, and logistical support in the city's efforts to build up its own fleet.
