Xun Yi
Origin: Warrior (97)
Foundation: Divine (92): Sun Extinguisher Arrow
A warrior queen of the Northern mountains. She lived her life as a raider and killer within her tribe up until they were hunted by the Xun Clan, ending in their defeat. After that, she had to chose between dying by their hands or marry into their clan for her talents and unusual traits, of which she chose latter.
Her foundation is that of an arrow that pierces the sun, something made to extinguish light, heat, and energy itself, like an insatiable void. This foundation excels at the task given, the greater the energy, the foe she has to deal with, the greater will be her offensive and ability to bring down the "sun" before her. This foundation has granted her an inborn offensive technique the moment she was born, as well as a body so cold it feels like she is dead upon touching her skin.
Stats:
Skill: 5 (80)
Body: 0
Int: 4 (62)
Per: 4 (56)
Due to her peculiar foundation, her body was born extremely weak and continues to be frail by cultivators' standards, however, it as compensated by heightened mental fortitude, awareness, and skill. Sadly, those traits were not valued by her tribe, as they focused on powerful bodies and body refining techniques, both things she had no inherent talent in. She survived childhood by the skin of her teeth, and became the Warrior Queen of her tribe soon after, by using her innate technique to exterminate the Tribe's previous leader, his family, and anyone else who had something to say about her becoming a queen.
Perks:
Char 2 (50)
Beauty 3 (41)
True Will (35)
Hidden 2 + Hiddens (9)
Techniques:
Hidden:
Pure Yin Expanding Moon
Mysterious Moon Veil (Offensive):
A power technique with the ability to siphon heat and energy out of all things, even those that naturally have none, such as Ice and coldness. This technique then converts that "energy" into pure, raw destruction, as it goes on to obliterate anything on its path. The user has total control of that energy, as well as how it manifests, allowing for multiple executions of itself. The bigger the energy source, the greater the damage. This technique is active at all times, even as it is an offensive technique.
Heaven:
Nine Yin Technique: Blood Oath Curse (2, Offensive):
A sword technique that manifests itself as a bloody red aura. It gives the user the ability to see routes to kill others effectively, each attack bleeding with killing intent and violence, with a reddish aura that comes off from the user. This aura can damage others that come in contact with it, and those damaged by the technique feel their ki pathways and flesh burning away, the killing intent and violence of the technique acting as a poisonous curse.
Nine Yin Technique: Mandala Perception (-5, Perception)
A detection technique that identifies those around the user, and, with the use of evil-yin, provides a visualization of how to attack the enemy best. The enemy not only feels a chill run down their spine, but also visualizes a possible scene of their death run before their eyes, as the technique's user prepares to dispose of them. Sadly, those visions are usually one of many ways to kill an enemy.
Earth:
Eight Movements of the Dragon (-10)
Item:
Nine Yin Havoc, Heaven (-16):
A demonic blade with heavy miasma fused with evil yin element.. The blade is able to move on its own even as the wielder uses it, as it seeks out blood and open wounds, a mere touch of the blade or its miasma to the blood or flesh cause wounds to calcify and crumble into dust, as it uses blood and ki as fuel to turn the enemy into boney-stone dust with its blade.
Backstory:
Born a frail child in the Northen Tribes, Yi had no reason to survive, nor a way to do so in most's eyes. Born of a known prostitute, Yi never knew her father, nor the love of her mother, as since her birth, Yi was strange. She never shed a single tear or cry, even in the moment she was born. Her cold body made the midwife think the girl was dead, if it wasn't for a single moment of motherly love from her mother that allowed Yi to survive past her birth.
Yi was mistreated by the tribe, as she was born too differently from them, her body too small, her aptitude for body refining null, absolutely no hair anywhere on her body but head and eyebrows. This made her quite a stranger in her tribe, even as she had unnatural talent to cultivate and survive any type of temperature, as her body was perpetually cold because of her innate technique.
Accounts from her early life to teenager years are sparse. No friends, or members of the tribe that knew her, even as her mother was a known face in many tents and bar-tents in the tribe. One day, her mother vanished. Some say it was because Yi was going to be beaten by death by a tribesman for one reason and another, and her neglectful mother had one last act of love for her, even as she too avoided Yi nearly everyday.
Some say that Yi got fed up with her mother's avoidance, and ended her life. Truth be told, no one knows, and one is brave enough to ask Yi about it.
After that, Yi became a ghost, who only reappeared when she was quite a young woman to challenge the Tribe's leader. It was a veritable massacre, as Yi unleashed all the power she had gathered throughout her life. All dissenters brave enough to stand against her died that day and she became their leader.
After that, Yi went on a rampage, uniting many tribes, ransacking caravans and ruins, gathering riches and manuals from all throughout the Northen Territory. This garned her two of the Nine Yin pieces, which she greedily learned.
Her rampage was of such proportions that she became known as the Warrior Queen, or the Barbarian Queen of the Northen Mountains. It became such a problem that the Xun intervened directly.
While her tribefolk were nothing but low level thugs in the cultivation world, she was the real deal, and managed to fight the hunting party to a standstill.
It granted her survival at the small price of marrying herself. She took that deal.
With such deal made, it was obvious the next step was pregnancy. At first, Yi didnt thought much of it. Even as she went through the pain of child birth, she continued calm, cold, uncaring.
However, things changed, and they changed drastically once she saw her child. Something fundamental about herself broke, and she cried for the first time, she had no idea on how to deal with those emotions, proccess them, how to cuddle or care for the life that came out of her.
She kept her distance, for she couldn't handle those feelings she had, love, joy, happiness, it was all new, all too foreign for her brain to digest. She truly loves her children, she truly do, but staying near them feels like she will be driven mad by love and happiness. She simply has no idea on how she should act, or even express, how much she loves her babies just by them existing.
