This is just a brief overview of the mods we will use from the modpack, you don't need to learn them all, just the important ones and the ones relevant to your job. We are running a custom modpack based on barotrauma Deathwish (some mods have been removed and some added/changed).

Doesn't change all that much but since it affects how diving suits work, people need to learn (check video). This is most likely going to be the cause of at least 80% of your deaths if you have never played with this mod before, and the cause of at least 20% of your death even if you did LMAO.

Main difficulty mod of the modpack, adds a bunch of new monsters (see below), makes attack waves and the game in general harder.

Mod regarding artifacts and alien ruins, adds new items along with a research workbench for unlocking new technologies, check page.

Changes the skill trees and adds/edits certain skills. Increases the logitevity of the game and makes it much easier to have two or more of the same job (two captains for example can now make two completely different skill builds that affect different things and don't really overlap).

CAPTAINS MUST LEARN:

Irl sonar kills nearby divers and it's as loud as 235 decibels, sonar needs to be off whenever divers are outside or if people are in flooded sub areas.

MECHANICS MUST LEARN:

Neurotrauma for mechanics, makes repairs a lot more complex. Adds a LOT of new items and now requires vent maintenance, oxygen generators requiring a filter and engines require oil. Even adds fireman gear and sprays that can repair hulls temporarily (for non mechanics), check video 100%.

ENGINEERS MUST LEARN:

Neurotrauma for engineers, makes reactor maintenance much more complicated. Much like hazardous reactors (which we are not using), it makes spent rods hazardous that need thongs to be picked up and disposed of. Also adds specialized storage for radioactive material along with a hazmat suit, radiation medication, decontamination showers and other shit. Check the page for a breakdown.

By far the most autistic mod of the modpack, don't pick medic if you don't want to learn the mod. Massively overhauls how you treat people by making the procedures a LOT more complex along with a million new afflictions that you have to know how to treat. It also adds a bunch of new tools and items that you will need to carry around in your doctor's bag. CHEFS (NEW JOB) MUST LEARN:

Mod that adds this job, players need to eat and shit now. Monsters (and people) need to be chopped up for their meat and cooked. You can make burgers and nuggers and other shit in the new kitchen placables like ovens and fryers. Also adds Kegs for all the new booze, a fridge to keep meat fresh, hydroponics for plants and ofcourse, a toilet for pissing and shitting (EVEN IF YOU DONT LEARN THIS MOD 100% DW, WE CAN STILL BUY FOOD).

ASSISTANTS MUST LEARN:
The game. How to be an effective cannon fodder. Remember, assistants are expendable, don't be afraid to die doing stupid shit. Just don't take valuable stuff with you if you do so.
