Instead of walking to the front of the room, Ketsueki lets himself dissolve into water mist. He takes the long way around to make sure everyone sees, as if he's showing off instead of covering up most of what his quirk actually does.
It's about as fast as he runs, which is already a lot faster than most people and looks extra swift because people expect fog to be slow. Still, he makes sure he's out of the direct sunlight of the windows when he takes solid shape again.
He gives the room a smile, not knowing how much it morphs into a smirk. He did intend people to see the long fangs, though. Ketsueki marks out who has what reactions - both ones that will be annoyingly positive, and ones that will be aggravatingly aggressive towards him. Having made up his mind already about that emotive half of the class, he turns his back to them and writes up his name in kanji... sort of.
Underlining his family name, he explains the unique symbol like stacked katakana while he's still facing the board. "It's pronounced RO ME RO." Then he turns around. The other two characters are recognizably the ones for <gore> and <liquid> -- together, <blood>.
"Yeah, that's my real name. I had all of this when I was born, so... my family's weird, I guess. I play guitar. I like fast music. I've been binging sports anime recently. Lots of good basketball ones out there for some reason. Let me know if you have any recommendations.
"To get in front of it, I have albinism. It's not a quirk thing. It's just a normal human thing. But kinda rare. I've heard all the jokes about it already, so leave it alone, and we'll be fine. I'm also kind of a night owl. They're not related I don't think."
He idly swings his arms back, and they come forward as a weak punch to an open palm. He does it a couple more times while he thinks, and looks at all the kids in the front row, then leans forward a bit to look at their teacher's face.
"Guess that's it." Letting his arms drop, he trudges to the side like everyone's gone as soon as he looks away.
Ketsueki takes the questionnaire from Smokin' Sexy's desk and skims the first few questions on the way back to his desk. The right corner of his mouth twitches downward.
Does he really think anyone's going to bare their soul on an icebreaker assignment in homeroom? As if.
1: What is a hero to you? What drives you to be a hero? Are there any heroes that you look up to? If not, what are your criticisms of the world of heroes?
A Hero is licensed by the government and acts in its benefit, or becomes unlicensed and might be labelled a Villain.
I'd rather be a Hero than a Villain. It's not like someone like me becomes an accountant. I'm not good at math, for one thing.
Yoshizumi's kinda cool. There's this Pro Hero band, you probably haven't heard of them though. Their drummer Crash is kingly.
2: How do you feel about certain homeroom teachers taking five minute smoke breaks?
Everyone has vices. But certain homeroom teachers might need to wait for outside of school hours, since certain students have been led to believe this is a smoke-free campus. Not naming names.
3: Which of your fellow classmates do you think you'll get along with the best, and which do you think the worst? Don't forget why! This will not change your seating arrangement.
Is this part of your lesson plan?
4: How do you feel about your quirk? Do you enjoy using it? Do you dislike it? Is there anything about it you would change? What about fighting? How do you feel about fighting? With or without your quirk? How does it make you feel to engage in fisticuffs with another being?
Asking a classroom with Heteromorphs in it if they enjoy or dislike their Quirk seems like it might infringe on some hate crime laws, but I'm not an expert.
5: If you were to schedule your perfect day tomorrow, what would it look like?
This is too personal of a question.
Last: What is your most cherished memory? Did you share it with others? Or was it in a moment of quiet introspection? How did it affect you as a person? Is it painful to look back on now?
