Clockwork in /∞/
Our clockmakers are masters of clockwork. They mainly produce clocks, but they also try to invent various clockwork devices. One of the more popular devices among the kronies are clockwork dolls (think karakuri puppets). And there are several ongoing projects for applying clockwork to bigger machines. There is a clockwork replica of our Goddess Kronii in the residence of the religious leader (Grand Priestess/The One/Timekeeper) but it serves no practical purpose and is not open to the public. It is said the clockwork replica is used in some of the religious duties carried out by the religious leader. Clocks have a religious significance as Kronii governs time and she is the one who gifted time to us in the beginning. Therefore, making and maintaining clocks are a way to honor the Goddess Kronii. All clocks in our nation are in sync with each other to the second. In the main church building, where our religious leader resides, is where the "first clock" is kept and maintained. The first clock, named "Clock of Kronii", is said to have been fine tuned by our Goddess Kronii herself. In all major cities and towns, there are clock towers that have been created while directly referencing the "Clock of Kronii" and as such they are perfectly synchronized to the first clock.
